We started using Merry Maids about ten years ago after our twins were born, and we have been extremely happy with them every time they come out. Scheduling is easy, and they are very responsive in all communications. Our home is not easy to clean with 3 dogs, a cat, and a bird) and two young children. Their team always arrives on time, they work very hard, and always do an incredibly thorough job. Their team is willing to use my cleaning supplies, but also have their own if we run out of something. We have tried other services in the past, but we absolutely prefer Merry Maids for their professionalism and enthusiasm.

If you don’t mind being overcharged for lite house cleaning. $70 per person-per hour. Definitely don’t ask to do linens/towels. They farm that out and charge delivery fees on top of the commercial laundromat charges. Do not recommend them.

Ali and Brooke did Spring cleaning for us in addition to the usual house cleaning. The place is sparkling. They cleaned the inside of kitchen drawers, the fridge, and even the oven. Thank you!

The cleaning crew came to my empty house to clean prior to us giving possession to the new owners. They left the house dirtier than when they arrived and also left the property unsecured - window wide open and the front door unbolted. They blamed their poor cleaning service on me, the customer, for capping their time at 2 hours, which was never the case. I expressed my desire, no matter the time, to have the house clean for the new owners. I was quoted 2-2.5 hours for the service and that time was confirmed with the cleaning crew on site...all parties thought that that was more than adequate time to complete the job. I did not receive a follow up call upon completion to indicate how much time had been spent and what the bill would be. At no time, did they call and indicate that the time was inadequate and they would need more time to leave a product that would be satisfactory. When I arrived at the property that evening I was astonished to find physical debris on the hard surface floors, carpet and counter-tops - all were relatively clean prior to their arrival. Windows had hand prints and smudges and the mopped floors had footprints all over them. Their customer service and follow up was nothing short of a wrought response and they clearly lack any interest in retaining business and providing meaningful follow up. They ended up refunding a half hour of service which did not begin to cover the time and effort that me, my wife and daughter put in that Friday night to clean their mess and make the house presentable for the new owners. They did clean the refrigerator and one shower to my satisfaction but that hardly is notable considering the condition that they left the rest of the house. If I were a service provider I would make sure that the property was left in better condition than when I arrived, and at the very least I would inform the customer they didnt have adequate time to provide a good product...neither was done. I paid over $150 to have a shower and refrigerator cleaned and to have the rest of the house left in disarray. I would recommend that you review other local cleaning services before giving your money to this company. I will not be using their services again.

I would not recommend them at all if you are looking for any type of cleaning done for your house or apartment. The windows, window frames, stove, fridge, and fans were poorly cleaned. Both of the ladies were rushing through the whole process. I had to remind the to go back and clean certain spots in the apartment (windows and window frames for example). I dont think they even used any special hardwood cleaner on our bamboo floors. If we knew what the end result was going to turn out like.. We wouldve just cleaned the apartment ourselves. We paid over $220 for 2.5 hours for a deep clean of our apartment. Our landlords were disappointed as well and pointed out the issues. Completely disappointed and would not recommend them. What a waste of money and time!

We paid over $200 for them to clean our apartment. They came very unprepared and had to be told multiple times to clean certain areas. They didnt know how to properly clean our flooring or appliances. Our apartment complex found Merry Maids cleaning to be unsatisfactory and we were forced to pay for another apartment cleaning. I would not recommend them to anyone looking to get a rented property cleaned prior to move out.Merry Maids did not honor their satisfaction guarantee, even after multiple dated pictures were provided.

I have never had such a poor cleaning job. I asked for a deep cleaning, but dog hair was just pushed to the corners of the floor, and there was still hair in the shower. I cleaned after Merry Maids left.

Merry Maids cleaned our condo and we were very happy with the service. Claudia and her partner did a great job. We will use them again!

Asked for a deep clean on a move-in. House was empty to accommodate. Had to spend several hours after doing it myself to get things beyond topical. Very expensive. Worse was their response when I called to complain. Very defensive, made it out to be my fault. Would never use them again.

I paid $90 for an hour: 2 women cleaned 2 small bathrooms and the top of a stove. They were clean, but thats INSANE pricing. I paid less for cleaners in New York City and London. Owner is a real genius, too: when I said I was going to write reviews online about my honest personal experience, she said shed be contacting her legal team for slander. All-around, would NOT recommend this company... obviously.

Maybe you shouldnt talk poorly about the customer whose house youre cleaning, especially when youre getting paid to do so. Just a thought.
