I originally came in here because the google reviews said Marnie was good with beards and that is hard to find. Ive now been coming here for about 6 months and Marnie never disappoints. I come out extremely happy with my hair and beard every time. Marnies attention to detail is amazing. Numerous times I thought she was done and then she noticed something out of place and brought more tools out to take care of it. She truly is the best barber I have ever had. I will definitely be coming here from now on.

Got my first haircut here a couple months ago, which also happened to be the best haircut of my life. I cant recall the ladys name who cut my hair as Ive only been here once, but she is certainly passionate about her work. Ill be back many times over.

If you have a beard there is no barber that does a better job than Marny! She is highly sought after so the waits can sometimes be a little longer but always worth it! If you have an event coming up or a date and what to look fresh this place is a must!

As far as I am concerned Marney is the best barber in town. When you’re in her chair you’re guaranteed to get a great cut. She is patient and takes her time with each customer. Some places like to rush people in and out so they can hurry up and get to the next paying customer. This is not the case with Colonial. Every time you’re in Marney’s chair you get her full attention and detail. 👍🏻

Marnie is great. Today was my first time at Colonial and Im glad to have finally found a place like this in the area. The price is right. Walk-ins only - no appointments. No frills. Just good cuts. Ron is there on Mondays and Marnie cuts 6 days a week. As busy as it was, she didnt rush anyone out of her chair. She takes her time and cares about quality. All the blues and rock n roll was perfect, too. Ill be coming back here for a long time.

Best barber shop in town! Only problem is she doesn’t charge enough. Once you get your hair cut here once you will never go anywhere elsewhere again. I use to pay 30 bucks for V’s barbershop and now I get a better haircut for half the price.

10/10. Marney is one of a kind--truly a Master Barber. I have difficult hair to work with, it was no issue to her. She went above and beyond with the whole experience, and delivered the best cut of my life. I look and feel great, thanks Marney. If you are looking for the real deal, this is it.

First off she knows what shes doing and how to cut hair quite well. Its more than $10 but thats because its a good cut. The atmosphere is good and so are the people and music.

Marny is the best. I moved back from Florida a few years ago and it took me a long time to find a good barber in Bloomington. In Florida barbering is an art. Its competitive. They take pride in the final product. The lines are sharp etc. We have good barbers here are good , but the good ones arent always accessible. I found Marny and I finally found what I was looking for. Great conversation, shes a real person and its fun to be there. But most of all I found a barber that takes pride in her work. Best Bloomington Barber in my view
