Second time coming in. First time with Les, second time with Mark. Highly recommend both. Did my usual cut with Les and it was perfect, tried something new with Mark and now I have a new usual. Both are very personable and thorough, I’ll definitely be comin back

I walked in without an appointment and very shaggy. Fortunately someone had just cancelled , so there was a slot open. In spite of my shaggy condition I was clipped and ready to go in a few minutes. The staff were friendly, open, skilled and the place was bright and clean. I recommend it.

Booked an appointment for 3:15 pm. Showed up 15 minutes early only to find the doors locked. I waited in my car until my scheduled appointment time and still no one showed up. After waiting for an hour in the parking lot with the door still locked, another customer with an appointment shows up who turned out to know one of the barbers. Come to find out that they were closed for the day but still made it so that we could schedule appointments?? Complete waste of a large portion of my day, and the fact that I had to find out through another customer is ridiculous. Completely unprofessional.

I had a high quality haircut but $25 for a cut is kinda nuts. Not much room for tipping. I like to leave a $5 tip traditionally but Jeeze. Im guess the owner is gouging the barbers for chair rental.

Angela absolutely knocked it out of the park. She shared knowledge and advice to help me get my hair recovered from a bad previous haircut (different establishment) and gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. Would highly recommend.

First time patron. Moved to IN from NJ and needed a good haircut place. Vs didnt disappoint. I was able to easily make an appointment online for later the same day, this was very convenient. I entered Vs and was immediately greeted and was told that the stylist would be with me in a minute. 30 seconds later, I was in the chair. Kayleigh was very professional, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. I will definitely return !

Adding another star for the customer service follow-through.This was quite an unpleasant experience for a beard trim. I arrived 10m early for my scheduled appointment (4:30p), but was told that the stylist was running behind (which I understand). After 25 minutes past my scheduled time, I was initially passed over for another client. The scheduler quickly corrected this, and I was seated. The stylist not only did not apologize for the lateness (which wouldve been a nice courtesy), but didnt do any small talk. His peers were happily chatting with their clients while cutting hair, so I felt like this was a I dont want to do this moment. He asked me what I was here for, and I said a beard trim. He didnt seem to be familiar with current cut/style techniques when I said that I was looking for something that would fit my face shape (round), as I had a special engagement coming up. I signed up for the deluxe trim, but it felt rushed in 12-15 minutes. He edged my cheeks and sideburns with a DRY STRAIGHT RAZOR WITH NO LUBRICATION first. After the hot towel, he then applied a balm for the second pass. When he was done, I had to point out that my entire neck also needed a trim. Not only did this feel rushed, but it felt like I was in the hands of an inexperienced barber overall. Who doesnt look at the clients face and skin to determine if they can take a dry razor and not notice their neck looks like a wookie? I can only speak for a beard trim as I am bald on my scalp, and would not recommend any beard trim from this place. Im going back to Colonial Barber from now on.

Ive been going to Les for over a year, and he never disappoints. My hair grows so fast that I am in every 2 weeks, and he has no problem accommodating changing requests. I asked to do something completely different recently and he was able to exceed my expectations. When he was out, Mark stepped in and did a fantastic job too. I cant recommend this place enough.

Pretty sure it was a mostly appointment place. I just walked in and they were great about it. She was awesome with my son and im also pretty sure I walked in at 6 foot 3 with lace up boots and a patriotic shirt and a shaved head and tattoos and looked like a giant bigot. Lol. Vibes were ok though. Backstreet boys to its raining men. Only complaint my son wanted a Mohawk and got a faux hawk. She still did a good job though

Arguably the worst haircut of my life. Not only was it expensive, $20+ (not including tip yet), but the barber didn’t listen to any of my instructions. I asked for barely any hair cut and I walked out with very short hair. Will take months to regrow now. If you’re tired of barbers cutting your hair the way THEY want, and not the way YOU want it, don’t go here. Also, many employees didn’t wear their masks properly, as they didn’t cover their noses.

Absolutely a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5!!! Les is the best and does really great with my baby fine hair. I always look and feel phenomenal!!!! I have found my place to go! Thanks!😊

The first time was awesome, conversation flows both times. The second time the fade was off from the left side didnt match the right side, I asked for a bald fade with a razor cut halfway between the sides and back and didnt receive it. I wanted to ask the first guy to clean it up, but I was being respectful. If it wasnt for the first cut I wouldnt return! The first guy will be the only one cutting my hair for now on. Very noticeable on how the right side is faded from the non faded left side! Sorry just being honest. Les... is the best!

I had an appointment today at 12:30 in Bloomington, Indiana. The place was full and the floor was covered with hair. When my turn came, I was invited to the chair that had hair on the seat as well. No reason to whine! People were busy. I cleaned it with the back of my hand and sat down. In the middle of my haircut, the plastic attachment came off the clipper and fell on the floor. The barber picked it up, hesitated a moment, and, as it was was off the floor, reattached it, and continued to cut my hair with it. Under the mask my jaw dropped and, strangely, it was I who felt embarrassed. Making my payment, I privately told the barber that she should have at least rinsed it. She smiled, nodded, but didnt even offer me an apology. I am not sure if basic hygiene is taught in barber schools, therefore, I cannot comment on the shops standards. Being a physician and having been taught hygiene, I cannot hide my disappointment and, in the future, go elsewhere.

Been coming to V’s for about the past 4 years, however my experience the past few visits has been very poor. The quality of the haircut is not even close to the amount that they charge, and because of that I will be switching to another shop. The last 3 out of 4 cuts I’ve had at V’s were so bad, I ended up having to go to another shop so they could fix what V’s did to my hair.

Mark is so good with my 2.5 year old son. This is our 4th or 5th hair cut here and every time is great. I appreciate that the shop is all LED lighting because of my son’s sensitivity to fluorescent light. Love the online scheduling feature and early appointments.

For About the last three years since my old barber that I liked moved out of town I’ve been getting inconsistent and uneven haircuts around Bloomington. Ive been looking for a place I can go and know that I’m going to get a quality consistent haircut each time. It only took one visit and one awesome haircut from Ryan to find what I’ve been looking for. Don’t waste your money in the big chain barbers in Bloomington and choose V’s on College Mall road across the street from Kroger.

Atmosphere is manly and comforting. They have many grooming products for sale including the awesome bearded bastard oils. Everyone is good. Not much wait. The neck massage is amazing and the hot towel on your face is to die for! Im a loyal customer.

They were able to get me in on short notice (30min). Had my hair cut by Kayla- she did a wonderful job, exactly what I wanted. Looked great, was quick and professional!

Shop was okay. A barbershop should have everyone using a straight razor. Place is super clean and sophisticated though. Could easily charge more , but the lady I saw was just not the best barber. I expect my haircut to be clean cut and finished up with a nice alcohol wipe or something. This place is more like a salon. Super nice, just need some more authentic barbers. Haircut was a 5/10. Also pretty affordable for how nice it is. Im sure people would pay more if the actual cut was better, since the ambiance is pretty dang nice.
