The employees were not knowledgeable about intalling the device on my car. I had to have the device replaced more than once, and the intoxalock brand is not the way I would go, i would much rather go with Smar Start instead

Best Value for your money!! Absolutely Awesome in how well they took care of my cars issue. Even went above and beyond what I expected--tested and checked both the front and rear brakes, despite the fact I only had a front brake problem. They only fixed what was needed, no crazy suggestions for other work that was needed. I will definitely go back to them for any and all of my future car repairs.

I am pleased with how friendly the man was who installed my device. He stayed in contact with me and I felt he was honest with what was going on. This company has got to be the most honest mechanic i have ever been too. I went in for a simple oil change and was advised of a issue. I was heading out of town and he said its not a big deal, go ahead and go but when your due for your next oil change come up and ill tell you what you need to tell the dealership. This is under warranty still and get fixed now so it doesnt come out of pocket. I went back and he told me what to say to the dealership and what needed done. As a single parent and sole provider for my kids, i dont have alot, so the fact he saved me money in the long run, means a lot to me. Thanks quality automotive.

My appointment was at Dec 7th at 9am, I dropped my car off there. We called at 12 to check on the status and the guy said he was about to start working on it even though he said it would take about 2-3 hrs. We called again at 4pm and he said they were waiting for the post office to deliver the intoxalock device, even though we got an email saying it was delivered on Dec 3rd and that it was signed by the guy we left our car with. Its now Dec 8th at 1pm and still havent gotten word from them, weve missed a days work because of this. The only good thing is the intoxalock customer service people they got back to us right away and called the guy we left our car with, he said the guy was very rude.

He even followed up the next day on his day off to make sure I would be safe to travel to Wyoming from Minneapolis to continue my nursing service against covid19. Brought my Porsche Cayenne here to replace the front upper and lower control arms. Daryl was great to work with...ended up replacing my tires there also. Seemed like a real person rather than most of the European mechanics I have dealt with. Will definitely go back!

Car had a major breakdown and even though they didnt have the parts, they were ordered and replaced quickly and professionally, days before they thought it would be ready. Darrel carefully explained exactly what the issue was and what they did to fix it (I like learning and understanding what went wrong, so this was the best!), as well as mentioning simple maintenance items to look for. Also had them change the oil, which is fairly priced and they a great job in checking and replacing all filters that needed attention. This is an often-overlooked item for many shops from what Ive heard, so kudos to Blaine Quality for doing a great job. Did I mention that they gave a free ride from the shop? Check them out.

Honestly, I went through Openbay through Lyft and found Darrell. Not only did I leave a great review for him on Openbay but also deserves a good review on google. Sometimes its the smaller shops that have the best crews. Darrell is a great guy and running an honest business. Went there for an oil change and tire rotation and I was out the door within an hour. Will definitely recommend and will be a returning customer.

This is a smaller shop, but the staff is fantastic and they have the best pricing I have gotten from a shop. they have helped me with stuck exhaust bolts, brake rotors and all sorts of other small jobs. Dont hesitate to visit them and support a smaller garage.

The building isnt much to look at, but like hole-in-the-wall restaurants, these are often the best places. The owner is open and honest, and not looking to fix non-existent problems. After having bad experiences at big-name tire shops its good to know the techs working on my car are qualified and werent working at a fast-food restaurant the week before. My car drives like its new again and I am confident in the repairs.

Blaine Quality Automotive has likely just become my go to in automotive repair. Derrell is easy to work with and offers fair pricing. My repair took an additional two hours or so but I was still charged the five hours of labor as originally quoted. Yes, this is the law, but I dont think all shops follow it. Highly recommend!

This was the worst experience at a garage ever!First the job was late took extra day to perform then get a call saying additional problem unrelated to repair developed while test driving.BLEW MY HEADGASKET on my mustang while test driving.All I know is I took the car in for front end work and drove it there had to get a tow to get it out of there after the guy was a real creep and just laughed and said prove it take me to court Derrel was very un professional I felt he was a scammer preying on people who dont know their rights!

Although I hate bringing in my vehicles for repairs (its a necessary evil), Im very happy with my experiences with Blaine Quality. They have always been very friendly and upfront with their price quotes and never trying to sell you on unneeded repairs. They also explained to me driving habits I could incorporate to possibly prevent future repairs.

Blaine Quality Automotive is top notch in my opinion! Being a woman getting her car worked on is a huge disadvantage to start with. Most of us havent got a clue beyond the basics. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and why, and they didnt find 10 other things that needed fixing too, like most OTHER mechanics/ Auto services usually do. They see if they can bleed you dry for a bunch of BS you dont need! How do I know this? I actually set them up to see if they would try to screw me. My car had been diagnosed by another auto shop already, so I knew what was wrong. Took it to Blaine Quality, said I didnt have a clue, its just making this bad noise and the service engine now light was on. They came up with the SAME diagnosis as the other place! Now heres the kicker, it cost $300 LESS than the other place quoted me. WOW, were not talking about a few bucks here, thats a lot of dough. Trust is very important these days, and THESE GUYS I TRUST! Theyve worked on my car a few times since, and Ive never felt cheated, or taken advantage of. Im grateful to have found them! I WOULD refer them to anyone in a heartbeat!They may have a couple of bad reviews here, but always remember, you cant please ALL the people ALL the time..... Nobodys perfect...

We needed some snow tires and wheels put on our daughters car. What a delight to work with Derrell at Blaine Quality Automotive. He was prompt, courteous and very reasonable. I am happy to know I have found a place I can go to for automotive needs. After our wheels were on, they found another problem that needed to be addressed.We knew about this and my husband just had not gotten around to that fix yet. There was no high pressure sale from Derrell. He just said if the husband couldnt get to it hed be happy to help with the repair if we needed it. Was in desperate need of getting my car fixed fast and cheap! Ok nothing is cheap on cars any more, but I was looking for the best service and price. After reading the poor reviews on this place (knowing there is ALWAYS two sides to every story) I still decided to give them a try. They could fix my car today....they would bring me home and pick me up when it was done! I recently had to use my mothers car for a business function. My husband was out of town and the tires on the car were VERY VERY low. I was afraid to drive very far. Called Derrell at Blaine Quality Automotive and asked for help. Derrell did not hesitate. He said bring the car right over and he would get the tires up to the correct PSI and make sure nothing was wrong. Derrell and his staff took care of me and soon I was on my way. After a long night of trying to diagnose the engine problem myself, I finally called BQA to look at it. I havent brought a vehicle into a shop in a long time and I am very glad I came here. They diagnosed a bad water pump and gave me their recommendation for repair, had the parts on hand and had the van ready to be picked up on the same day. The cost came in a bit LESS than quoted which is always nice. My family has been using BQA since they opened their doors and I was glad to return... insomuch as I can be glad about anything regarding a bad water pump. :-)
