Ive gotten one haircut from here. It will be my last. Its not that I think Hannah is bad- shes quite good, and you can read most of the other reviews and see how happy people are with their cuts. Here is my issue: shes unprofessional in a way that Ive never quite experienced. I am not great about being assertive when it comes to haircuts, and so I ended up with a cut I didnt particularly care for. I didnt complain, I didnt pitch a fit, I just paid and left a pretty good tip. My partner (who helped me pick out reference photos) left a poor review, and didnt even give specifics, only that I didnt get the cut I went in to get- and Hannah decided to, apparently, STALK her social media accounts, and connect her to me. She then decided to leave a retort on my partners review (its still up) naming ME specifically, deciding to tell the world that my hair is thinning up top (thanks Hannah, Im 34- I know). How petty and juvenile. 4 months later I call, and right off the bat she knows EXACTLY who I am, and what my problem is. I asked her what the hell is wrong with her, and she hung up on me. Fine, its her business, she doesnt owe me an irate rant. But she did agree to take down the retort with my name in it.Well, she hasnt done that.If shes going to stalk my girlfriend and then put my personal information on blast for the whole world to see because she cant handle one poor review, Im at least going to let Bismarck know what kind of a person she is.

Easily one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. The barber I had took her time and was very meticulous in giving me exactly what I wanted. She was careful in asking how I planned to style my hair, and gave me tips on how I would be able to maintain my style in the future. I dont get my hair cut very often, so I am leery on new barbers; This place blew my expectations out of the water. Ill 100% come back here for another cut.

I’ve been to both Dave and Hannah and they truly are the best at what they do. If you are a guy in Bismarck there is no other place like here. Super detailed at their work. Highly recommend!

Never had a haircut that i didn’t love. Dave and Hannah are the best and fun to be around. Would recommend any guy who is looking for a clean fresh cut to try them out. Say goodbye to places that are about quantity and not quality. You get what you pay for. Dave and Hannah take ample amount of time on their blending and it really shows. Best place in town without a doubt. Can’t say enough good things about The Barber’s wife.

Hannah is great! Barbers never give tips on how to syle your hair and how your hair acts. Hannah did and was very knowledgeable.

I dont give five star reviews often unless there is consistency in quality, skill, and customer service over a length of time.I came from a big city where I got premium hair cuts. David is your man. Been getting my hair cut by him for awhile. He can cut any style and has high attention to detail and skill. Not to mention they have a beautiful dog that greets you when you come in.

The barbers wife is a great place to get your hair cut, they have a dog and I do not like dogs but it was very calm and didnt bother me so it was not a problem. I would advise you to go their

Sky is the best. She knows how to handle my hair very well. She cuts and styles it the way i envisioned my hair to be. The interior of the barbershop is great and cozy, there are a few plants which makes it look like a casual apartment. The barbershop also has a nice fragrance and you will notice it once you step in.

The attention to detail put into every haircut is exceptional. David and Hannah do fantastic work with each haircut. Impressive place.

Excellent experience

Great place, owned by a nice young couple. Interior design is a great fusion of modern with classic barbershop furniture. They have a sweetheart of a dog named Louie whos always there to greet you. Be forewarned, make sure you have an appointment since this place is a two person show, and they both send people on their way looking great, its no surprise they easily book up their days. Truly a jewel you would only expect to find in a major metropolitan city, tucked into the downtown area of Bismarck.

First time there, made a reservation with Hannah, as she was recommended by several of my friends. I honestly wasnt sure exactly what I wanted but I had a few ideas, and she figured it out pretty quickly, and was able to make my hair look way better than I was expecting! Ill definitely be going back and I would recommend to any guy looking for a good clean cut. 👌

David ROCKS! I was very impressed with his attention to detail. Very thurl with his cuts. Tight fad ALL DAY! Friendly staff, clean, cool atmosphere. Just all around great place for a mens haircut. This is the level of professionalism I think every hair shop in town needs.

Wonderful place to get a beard trim. Down fall is they do not answer the phone a lot and rely heavily upon their website for booking and rescheduling.

Prepare to have a lot of extra time from when youre appointment is scheduled. I understand trying to be perfect for every customer may cause some extra time to each appointment, but when that happens eventually one customer down the line with have to wait from their start time. Wasnt expecting to be that customer, but alas I was.Im sure the haircut would have been great, judging by those that were in the seats, they looked nice. Unfortunate to see such terrible scheduling issues.

A place for a bearded man. The focus that Dave has has helped my beard gain its stability with proper shaving and regular grooming.The beard trim w/ straight edge included hot towel is a nice touch to the great service I get every time I come in.

Hannah is extremely good at what she does! Over the past 4 years she has given consistently excellent cuts. I highly recommend making an appointment with either Hannah or David and Im sure you will find your barber for the long term.

Nice folks. Always a good haircut. The gal that I always see is great at helping you to find a new style. A bit expensive for me 25ish bucks, but I dont go often.They do have a dog, which I like. But some could be allergic.

If you are in the fence of going here let me make the decision for you, do it! This is the best place in Bismarck/ Mandan that I have found to cut my hair. They are friendly and usually punctual with appointments.

If you are looking for a premium haircut, then this is the place to go. The stylists there are absolute professionals at what they do, and are very friendly. I can say with confidence that whatever stylist you choose, you will get an absolutely amazing haircut and experience.

Didn’t listen, didn’t look at the photos and use them to model the haircut, just did the same cut that everyone gets. Too short, screwed up the cowlick, and the fade is bad and goes too far up the head. Will never be going back. Totally deaf to what the customer wants.
