I unfortunately did not have a good experience with this office. I will not mention her name, but she was extremely rude and making an appointment ended up being a total waste of my time. She didnt know exactly how to help me, and complained that this is not what she needed to deal with right now. I came in with an issue that needed to be resolved that week in order to cancel an additional tax payment, and she said I shouldnt worry about $400 coming out because I could just get it back eventually. Well, not everyone can just lose $400, especially during a pandemic. She eventually said she couldnt help me and that shed call me back the following day. Its been several days and still no call. I ended up spending hours on the phone calling other HR Block centers and the IRS and they were able to resolve my issue with empathy and care. All of this is to say, I find it very disrespectful for tax advisors to assume everyone who walks in the door has money or has the means to just wait and see what happens I was very disappointed, and would advise just using the online assistance or going to another branch.
