This was my second visit to this business. I got an oil change from them years ago and was not happy with the service I received. I visited them again this week after stopping at two other oil change places that had long wait times. I was able to get serviced right away at Birmingham Oil Change Center. The representative asked me whether I wanted full synthetic or a blend. I asked him what the benefits of full synthetic were versus the blend and when he was not able to satisfactorily answer my question I opted for the blend and CLEARLY told him my choice. When he told me they had checked all engine fluids, I asked him if they were going to check my lights. He said they already did. I pressed him on this because he had not asked me to turn on my turn signals or bright lights. He said they could see my brake lights when I pulled in and then walked away. The employees dismissive attitude is one thing after all Im a woman and what do I know about my pickup truck, right? At least that is the impression I got from him. But in the end they decided to put in full synthetic oil and charged me accordingly! I was never shown the old filter. Nor was I shown my dipstick with clean oil at the full level. So, I wonder what other standard services I did not receive.

Guys in there are very professional, you don’t have to worry about getting bad oil or played for your money. Best oil change in the area

Quick, convenient, and trusted staff. Had an incident where my air intake got ripped during air filter change. Called the store, and they took care of their mistake by ordering and replacing promptly without issues. Accidents happen, and Im glad they took care of there part. Id recommended this store to friends.

Ive been going here for years and I just brought my fifth vehicle there the other day. I keep going back because theyve had the same crew working together for a long time. Very knowledgeable and they make fast, efficient team.

Wow. Ive had very good service here before, and am not sure whats changed. Went in for an oil change. I could see the tech had trouble removing and installing the engine cover. I checked it at home and found it held on by 1 of 4 clips. A couple of days later the skid plate came loose while I was driving. Looked at that and saw it had been installed with only 3 of perhaps 10 or 12 screws. So two different techs worked on the car, and both failed to reinstall parts correctly- then let me drive away. Yikes. Very disappointing-

If youre going to charge top dollar for basic services at least have the professional courtesy to get to work 15min early so your customers arent waiting on you

Best place for an oil change.The gentleman was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Google is wrong. Entrance on Southfield is easier and lines your car up to drive in. Quick, helpful, affordable, excellent management, reliable. Been going for years and intend to keep going there. Been a few other places - not as satisfied.

The mechanics are always super professional and helpful, never feel pressured to get more than I need but alway have answered any questions I may have. They are also super fast and efficient, highly recommended

I always get my oil changed here and have had nothing but great experiences. They top up fluids, put air in your tires, etc while doing the change. Would absolutely recommend going here!

I always get my oil changed here, however, I was happy to learn that this service center fixes flat tires for only $15. I’ve had 2 flat tires in the last week due to my neighbors construction project and got both tire repairs done quickly. A special thanks to Damon and the morning staff for always taking care of my oil changes and tire repairs at Birmingham Oil Center!

Great service, no bs. I went in for an oil change and they asked if I wanted them to check my air filter. I knew my filter was pretty new, but I told them they could check. They confirmed that my filter was alright and didnt try to sell me a new one. Im grateful for the honesty.

Mark has been repairing my twenty yr. old car for many years, has always done a great job with sometimes difficult repairs. Not easy to find good mechanics . Small neighborhood garage but modern repair facilities, clean. Personal service.

I came in there on a Sunday morning and this young man i believe his name was Jordan or josh, i was very surprised on how he worked he got right to it all by his self which usually others worked on my car in the past. but he checked everything and made sure i was all set. definitely coming back in future!

It was my first time coming to this place this morning and I don’t regret it one bit! A very Young gentlemen I didn’t have a chance to look at his name he has black hair & was very polite and helped me get ready for my trip to see my family in Chicago, he let me know what I needed and filled up my fluids...( he said have a safe trip and have a good thanksgiving) I highly recommend this place and I will be bringing my kids cars here for now on!

My Oil technician Adam Vega, exceeded my expectations. kind and prompt service, Adam went above and beyond to make sure I was safe on the road. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Oil change and other fluids topped off and out in 15mins. While dealers take 1hr to 1 1/2.

Over $60 for basic oil change. One week later, had to have dealer correct their mistake.

Outrageously priced!!! Staff is friendly, but pricing is absurd. I only have 1% oil life left, or I would have went elsewhere. $50 for an oil change when I normally pay in the $20 range just doesnt seem appropriate. Especially when nothing special is being done, no filters, no high mileage oil, etc.

They tried to do a bait and switch, said when I called they had a 20.00 off special, told them what type of car, they said a 5/30 blend 6 quarts 52.00 less 20.00, 32.00 out the door .. got there they tried to switch it up to 60.00 ..nothing but crooks
