Totally unless bunch of people. Three times Ive been forced to use them and each time the service and attitude gets worse. Delivery facility has zero clue what they are doing. The 1800 number is even more pathetic.

I received all three letters just as expected and the driver was really friendly. I did have to run to catch him, though, because he only knocked on the door once and was almost back to his truck as I opened my front door! I called for him as I ran, but I dont think he could hear me because he never turned around. Thankfully he saw me after he got in his truck. It was a close call but it all ended well and I didnt have to drive anywhere to retrieve my letters!

Being a child of an employee, Ive been coming here for years. So when I finally had to come here for actual business, I felt pride as well as appreciation for what the people who work here manage to do. The people are friendly, and the location is clean. I was in and out in under 10 minutes with a moderate business flow that particular visit. The parking could be better, but the best spots are reserved for the customer. Great job and thank you UPS!

Zero If possible. They have had my package for 2 days and still never attempted to deliver. When I called yesterday asking if I could pick it up because apparently it was scanned for delivery but never put on the truck that I could not pick it up because it was in a sealed trailer. However I was assured it would be delivered today. Today sorry driver couldnt make it out to you. Im sorry you are incompetent, I am sorry I chose you as a shipping option.

This facility, company, management, and employees are rude, unprofessional, and uncaring! The carrier made 2 attempts, left notices, but did not give an option for me to sign for the package and have it left at my physical address. So I contacted UPS to have it held at the nearest facility. I was told that I would receive a phone call (which never occurred) and after speaking with several representatives, finally received the location for pickup as noted below. By this time, I was out of town for work, so I asked my colleague to pick up the package on my behalf, as this was indicated as an alternative listed in my “hold” email. Today, she went to retrieve the package, had the tracking number as indicated, and I even sent a copy of my ID as another form of verification. The UPS center refused to release my package, stating they had high amounts of fraud and that their manager/security had deviated from corporate policies. Being on the phone with my colleague during this time, I asked if I could FaceTime and show both my drivers license and passport in an effort to not have the package sent back. The store declined. I asked for management’s information, the store declined. I called customer service, and was provided with conflicting information before the representative hung up on myself and my colleague. At one point, the representative said I could send an email to my colleague giving authorization for pickup, but the store would not accept this email either. After being hung up on, I called customer service again, and the representative stated they would speak with the facility via email and provided me with a reference number. The employees offered a false name for their management and at one point, gave idle threats about attempting to be “nice”. I’ve heard horror stories, but this takes the cake.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. This location gave me the run around for 7 hours in regards to a package that the driver so called attempted to deliver at 9:06 am. However, the driver did not bother to get out of the truck, although cars were in the parking lot.I received a text stating my delivery was rescheduled due to holiday closure. I called the main number at 11:04 am, since no local phone number is available, and spoke to a rep who stated that dispatch would call me within an hour. Dispatched called at 11:28 am and told me the driver would redeliver. I waited in my office. I finally called the main number again at 2:45 pm and spoke to another rep who stated dispatch would contact me within the hour. I waited yet again. There was no call from dispatch. I called the main number at 3:51 pm and spoke to the same rep who was trying to explain to me that they were not going to deliver my package until Monday. While I was on the phone with customer service dispatch called me. I asked the gentleman to hold. Dispatch told me despite what my screen says the package was never out for delivery it was in a trailer on site and they did not have access. She said she would see what she could do. I hung up with dispatch and asked customer service if I could pick up today and stressed the urgency of me getting my package today. He said I could pickup today. U received notification confirming I wanted to pickup.I stopped by the UPS location to pickup and was told it was on a truck and if the driver could stop by he would but he would be back to the facility at 6 pm. I was told to head to my office to catch the driver. I went to my office and waited until 5:50 pm. Im here at UPS waiting on the driver to return.

I had no idea that this, THE Main UPS Location would close for four 4 hours!!! From -11am to 3 pm !!!This bas now cost me very valuable time and money to make a return trip to pickup a very much needed repair part !!!What’s wrong with UPS ?? Are they about to go out of business?? Oh well, SCREW THE CUSTOMER!!!!I’ll be changing our companies business over to Federal Express. We find that Fedex Ground is no more than UPS, sometimes a little cheaper, and on long hauls is 1 day faster !!!!

I would give no stars if I could....UPS is the worst. I ordered 6 kids coats to donate to the Birmingham elementary school for children in need. Ups said that they delivered ( why they would leave 5 boxes outside an apartment is beyond me) my packages, but they weren’t there when I made it home. They either delivered to the wrong address or they left all those boxes outside my door for someone to take. I had to file a police report before Jcpenny would even replace or refund me. I filed a claim with Ups but I already know they aren’t going to do any investigating.

Was able to get our package from here. The postcard we received from this location did not have accurate customer service hours listed and failed to note the three hour period in which the customer service desk was closed. Ended up wasting a drive out to this location and having to instead return at a later time in the day.

They stay delivering my packages to the wrong address and the drivers are too new and unattentive as to where they are going and seemingly dont care that they leave your packages at the 1st door they see just to rush and finish their route. They need to be retrained, they need to learn the routes and stop rushing just 2say theyve finished unloading their packages 4that day. They get paid enough to take their job serious so do it!

Useless. Three Christmas orders from Amazon were sent via UPS Surepost where UPS is supposed to deliver to your local post office and they in turn handle the final delivery to you. The first two packages were returned because they were unable to deliver. Ive called them five times and explained that my local post office is only open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and if they didnt deliver during that time no one would be available to take delivery. Each time I called they said that they would contact the service center and let them know what time that post office was open and ask that they deliver during that time frame. Regardless, every time the driver attempted delivery way outside their hours of operation, once at 4:00 in the morning! Two of my three packages have now been sent back because I refuse to spend 2 hours driving to and from the customer center to pick them up. I have no hope that the third one will show up tomorrow as expected. I have no further use for UPS and will go out of my way to avoid them in the future even if it means no longer ordering anything from Amazon.

Ups has truly gone downhill. The delivery service is completely unreliable and customer service is no longer even in this country. I have a package that was secretly damaged in delivery well over a year ago. It was sent to their damage control facility. This is still an unresolved issue. To add to the problem, packages in our area are now being delivered to the highway, not even to our door. Just thrown out like trash on the side of the road. Try to contact their supervisors about these issues and get only am overseas operator unwillingly to solve the issue. Ups is about to lose the business of an entire region and no one seems to care. Hard to believe they have fallen this far.

The only reason i give 1 star is because their is no option of giving 0 star. The driver who delivery to my house hoover area refused to delivery to my house with the reason that i have a dog.even when my dog is locked up the driver leave a note dog on yard this happened number of time even when the dog is out at the vet. Now i have to cancel what ever pkg and reorder a new pkg and pay again for the new pkg just because they didnt leave me any note for the 1st attempt only on the second attempt the driver leave 2 note from day before and the 2nd time attempt so i had no chance even of calling them and let ups know that i will come to pick up my pkg and they already send it back to sender.after i called the center and ask them to keep the pkg so i will pick it up they telling me they already send it back to sender. i received the note on wed 8 am called on 9 am and they already send it back i wonder why i didnt get any call from them before they send it back.

Its too bad all these smarties reviewing the UPS Customer Center are actually complaining about the drivers, not the customer service center itself. This place is very straightforward. Arrange to have your package sent here, drive here, go to the clearly labeled customer door, show ID, and pick up your package. Ive never had any issues here and have no complaints, unlike all the others on here complaining about everything besides the UPS Customer Center.

Same sorry ups carrier was too lazy to blow the horn or dial one of our numbers as we have requested in the instructions so that we can walk out to get our package so that he does not have to walk up to place package on porch due to dog who is constrained on other side of house. This is the same african american male ups carrier with dreads who flat out lied both times that he was unable to deliver package. We watched this idiot on the camera the first time as he drove past our house. My husband was standing on the porch today when he flew by once again. The most incompetent human being I have dealt with in a long time. Amazon prime carriers are the best! Never had 1 problem with getting our packages. I am so frustrated with these lazy workers. As soon as they are fired then they want someone to blame. I will not stop until he is no longer deliverying in our area.......

UPS driver dispatched from this location didn’t want to deliver package so they put a “receiver requested” hold on it and delayed delivery by a week. Worst customer service experience with UPS. I will be using FedEx from now on.

Don’t bother waiting for your items through UPS Birmingham, if you live in the Liberty Park area. The drivers seem to like to steal or throw away packages. I know none of the boxes were delivered because I was home, and we have a ring doorbell with auto response. One of the boxes included a very special gift for a child in the hospital. I hope your drivers can live with themselves. Thanks grinch.

Delivery driver decided she didnt want to deliver my package. If my chair couldve been any closer to the drop off view I wouldve been seated out on the curb. I have a clear view of the drop off point and the truck never came. Had to pick my package up from the ups center. Was never allowed to speak to a supervisor. They continued to give me the run around. I will never use UPS for my shipping needs again.

Worst customer experience ever! For the SECOND time. Had a package delivered to the house and missed the first attempt waited for the second and it never came. Called and somehow my package disappeared. And the manager says file a dispute with the seller in the rudest way possible and ended the call. My fiancé and I went there to see if we could get a bit more information and the guy at the front counter went to the back and the girl followed and and all we heard was laughing. We waited and waited and waited. Finally the guy comes up and repeats her. I hate this store!!!! .... Or just the workers there 😘

Our neighbors were having a package delivered but were not home so they left a ups note telling the driver to bring it to us one door down in our apartments. I just went outside when i heard a truck to see the driver jumping in the car. He just left a failed delivery note without EVER KNOCKING. I yried chasing him down and drove off faster. This is the fourth time this nonsense has happened

Be aware this place ONLY ACCEPTS MONEY ORDERS so if you need to pay for your package find out the PRICE in advance and make sure to make the money order to pick it up. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE this poor customer service not even Credit Cards.

If there was a way to give them a zero star rating I would do that instead... 1/5 is giving them way too much credit. The driver here is to lazy to walk to the door so they will just deliver all the packages to one of the houses in the area and hope that the customers work it out. This is not a one time event, and the managers at the place dont seem to care about the issues and just tell you to file a lost package claim.

I just had the worst encounter with an arrogant driver. He held my door shut because i have a 15 y/o German Shepherd dog who has no teeth. I even walked out to the van with him so he could be safe, but he refused to let me sign for my package or receive it. This company deserves to go bankrupt. The drivers name is Camera Calvert. I have gotten notices everyday for the last 3 days stating my packages would arrive and I have yet to receive them. Apparently the 1st day the carrier forgot my packages (all 3 of them at the facility), the second day they just didnt make it to my house in time, even though I saw them deliver a package upstairs at 10pm while I was waiting for mine. I called at 6am the 3rd day and was called back by the manager and was guaranteed I would get my packages today between 1045am-2:45pm. Here it is almost 11pm, after holding for a rep for 45mins, I was just told they will not be delivering my packages today and I would have to speak with the local manager again tomorrow. Crappy services with an even crappier customer service rep named Henderson.

The driver in Homewood, AL (GreenSprings route) failed to deliver a guaranteed delivery on 12-2-2016. He lied and said address was incorrect. They know this is not true. Address has been tge same since 1957. Address was electronically transmitted at time of order, shipping & handing off to UPS. He is not doing his job & making excuses such as bad address. UPS does nothing to make it right and blames the customer. UPS is a joke. Terrible company.

The customers service is terrible!!! You can no longer call the local office, everything is over seas representative, that cannot understand a word anyone says! I called back multiple times trying to see if we could get another rep. that would check on why my sons medical supplies a total of six packages were showing out for delivery three day in a row and the driver never showed up. I asked to be transfered multiple times and was hung up on.
