Was extremely informative and helpful. Customer engagement and clarity was top notch. They came out because our landlord wouldnt take care of a pre-existing problem, and they left us feeling confident that this issue will be dissolved.

So I called terminex because my mother unfortunately got bedbugs. We paid over $1400 for them to come out for 6 months and treat the trailer. They did good the first 3 times and then I would call them back to have them come out again and they would tell me I would receive a call when the tech can come out and they would never call, I would call again and no one would answer and this happened for two months straight untill the 6 months was up. Now they want me to pay again when the problem should have been solved the first time. Not happy.

We were already Terminix customers and noticed a worsening ant problem in our house, even though they had already sprayed two months ago. We called the Binghamton Terminix folks on Sunday of this week to schedule someone to check things out and possibly respray. We were told someone would call us on Monday, and then no one did. We called them Tuesday and were assured someone would come out Weds, and then they called Weds to say rather than doing an inspection, they would come out and spray Thursday morning. Fine. Thursday morning came and went, no one showed up for the appointment, no one called to reschedule, and when we tried to call the technician and the local Terminix office, no one answered any of our calls nor returned calls when we left a message. We talked to corporate Terminix as a last resort, and even they couldnt get ahold of anyone in our area to see what was going on. We heard nothing from Terminix and just used Raid spray like crazy ourselves on Friday, then Friday night we got a text saying they would come out to spray Saturday morning from 8-10am. Its now 11am on Saturday morning , no one has showed up, no one has called to reschedule, no contact at all. Dont waste your time or money working with these people, find a local place who actually knows how to communicate and show up to appointments they schedule. They are completely unprofessional and unresponsive. We will be canceling our service.

Terminex technicians are professional, knowledgeable, timely and great communicators. We have had no issues with pests such as ants, wasps, spiders in and around our home since we began service. I never notice or smell any products they use to treat our property. They text the day before they are scheduled to come out and ask if we have any current issues. Im happy we use Terminex.

They are rude, unprofessional and good luck getting them out. When they do come they are shoddy. I had roach traps already out and they used them (even with the roached in them already) and just put bait in the traps over and around the dead roaches. I tried one more time after struggling for almost a month to get them back with a service man named Trevor who didnt show for the appointment I made with him over the phone and then when I called him to see if he was running late he was extremely rude and said he wasnt coming. NEVER again. There are too many professionals in the area to suffer this nonsense and be treated rudely.

Terminix was called because of a problem with carpenter ants. Trevor Zandt came to the house and couldnt have been more courteous and professional. He was prompt and contacted me ahead of time. He answered many questions and explained everything he was going to do and why.

Called Terminix main hotline to book a service. Was asked for address and size of home. Stated that home is 1800 sq. ft. Was quoted $159 for an initial service and $109 if I wanted them to come back quarterly. Told them I had received an offer for $50 off and was told they would honor that for me and do the initial service for $109. Received an emailed contract for the next year at $109 per.Service tech showed up on time, although without any mask on, and immediately started arguing with me about the price on my doorstep. Said my house is bigger than I stated (my house is 1846 sq ft.) and he cant do it for that price. Said he would need to charge me more money. I told him to get lost.Tech called me back 5 minutes later and said since he was still around and would do it for the agreed upon price. I told him again I was no longer interested. Completely unprofessional. I called the main Terminix line again to complain about what happened and they called the service techs supervisor who back him up completely. They then called the branch manager who also backed them up and wanted to charge me more than I was quoted. They offered to do it for $169.Call center employees were compassionate and embarrassed that someone would show up to a customers home and argue about the size of their home and try to change the contracted price. Horrible experience and this is definitely bait and switch. Reporting this fraud immediately.

I contacted Terminix because we had suspected some rodents in the soffit of our seasonal cottage and it was causing some issue on the ceiling inside. A technician came out and quoted and proposed that they would go into the soffit, clean out the old insulation, clean inside and re-insulate. Then, a one way trap would be installed and the holes would be blocked off. The work was scheduled. When the technician came out to do the work, he did not seem to have any of this information and did not know exactly what was being done. He then notified us that there was no way to get into the attic and they would not be able to clean it out and re-insulate. The only thing he would be able to do was to block off the holes. This cost us over $900.00 to cover 2 (tennis ball size) holes in plywood. Had we known that they would not be able to clean it out and re-insulate, we never would have proceeded hiring Terminix to cover up the holes. We would have paid our contractor much less to do that. When the technician came out to quote the project, he should have done more due diligence so that he could accurately provide a quote and a plan for what would be able to be done. $900.00 for blocking off 2 holes with plywood is absurd. They also required full payment up front, which I thought was strange. I will never use Terminix again.

My first year experience with a bee infestation was the summer of 2019. I thought I had solved the problem but was mistaken. I knew that I would have to call in a professional to be rid of the problem for good. My choice to hire Terminix was an excellent one. Cannot thank Mr Jefferies, who covers the Upstate NY territory. He is professional and caring. Thanks to Terminix, my bee infestation is killed off!

Called for hornet infestation. Canceled original appointment and was late to the rescheduled one. Was weary about the price ($325) but was told about how in depth the process was gonna be backed with a 30 day guarantee. Guy came and sprayed the garage for 15 minutes and bounced. The wood damage wasn’t fixed, perimeter of the house wasn’t sprayed, and still have hornets everywhere. Was told it takes 2 weeks for it to work (so basically a 2 week guarantee) Called to complain and was told “it’s not under our control if you have pests outside” I never write reviews but it was at that point I decided I had to share this.

The service and the technician who came for my initial appointment were excellent, but there were several scheduling issues with my appointment. I also recommended Terminix to a relative who had the same experience with scheduling errors. We both took time off of work for appointments where the technician didnt arrive that day due to the schedule errors, not through fault of their own. Until we both have a couple of appointments without issues I would be hesitant to recommend Terminix to anyone else.

If you call the corporate number they will set you up with an appointment. Then this local office wont show up to the appointment nor will they call to reschedule. If you schedule your appointment online, this local office wont honor that appointment either. The local office wont answer the phone and doesnt return voicemail.Horrible customer service. Just lost 4 homes with the potential for more. I will find a pest control company that understands customer service. Thanks for nothing.

I am not usually home when Terminix services our home - but we have a camera and I can say that the technician is just as thorough when we are home as when we are not! I was home last week and the technician was very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. I wish our lawn service provided the same quality of service!!

First experience: The young man that came, Trevor, was very professional, polite, answered all our questions and as far as I can tell he took care of the yellow jackets.EDIT for Second experience: once they had our 1 year subscription we were no longer a priority. 2 days in a row they were a no show. I spent 2 days waiting for them to come do a routine inspection. We were given different excuses ferrin a few different people about why they didnt come or call. We canceled our service.

Its The BAIT AND SWITCH GAME with these guys. We paid the salesman who gave us the quote, then the service man was paid. Foolish me, the job wasnt quite done but he said theyd be back. THE MAILBOX IS FULL AND CANNOT RECEIVE MESSAGES. Weve had no success in getting the job done. Ive never written a poor report before, but I hope that this will help other trusting humans such as myself from losing money on this company.

Utter failing of the worker that was supposed to be sent out and not none of the HQs gave a darn to help us out. 5 hours of waiting for a no show and he blamed it on being sick, and the HQs had no idea where there worker even was nor that he was even sick to begin with, and everyone shirked responsibility. .First impressions are everything after all.

Best company in doing advertisement, worst company in finishing the job. Paid more than 400 bucks to the greedy company, who couldnt even kill the ants. The serviceman worked for ten minutes, and the ants came back after a week. Stay away from this company at all cost!

Called the corporate number who set up an appointment for a free inspection for a critter in the attic. The local manager, Thomas Doyle, did NOT show up to any of the appointments that we made on 3 different days as we gave them multiple chances! Nor did the office call back to reschedule. Quite frustrated, I called them the 4th time to escalate the call and complain about the terrible customer service leave. Still no response! Most Unprofessional Company. Not sure how they received 5 star reviews.

I am done! I gave been a customer for years and they are constantly either showing up unannounced or one day notice. I have made several attempts calling them for six days! The voice mail is full and I cant get anyone on the phone. Had to send email to cancel, do your self a favor and keep looking folks.

WORST service we have gotten from any company. We are STILL waiting for the branch manager to call us as promised 4 months ago. Regardless of the phone calls and text messages, they got our money and now they don’t bother returning a phone call. And we still have the pests they supposedly “excluded”. Not sure how this is a 100% guarantee. Beyond unhappy and wasted $1,200 with those thiefs.

$800.00 to spray and powder 2 mattresses, a couch and a recliner for bedbugs? That is ridiculous! They came back for a follow up because it didnt get rid of them the first time. After their follow up visit I seen a few more and thought to myself that maybe it takes a while for it to kill them or something. So I gave it about a month and they got worse. I called back and they said my 30 days was up and Id have to start a whole new account. Which meant another $800.00 for nothing. No Thanks! I was not told their was a time limit! I was told they would keep coming back until the problem was resolved. Ill try to find Temprid made by the Bayer Company myself and save money by spraying furniture myself. Terminix may be good at getting rid of ants and roaches and other insects but they suck at doing bedbugs. I would not recommend Terminix to anyone for bedbugs! Find another company that deals with them or try getting rid of them yourself or just go buy a new bed or something itd be a heck of a lot cheaper!
