Mr. Rooter to the rescue… We have used Mr. Rooters services in the past and have always been pleased with their work, prices, and professionalism. This time they were EXCEPTIONAL! We had a laundry-room disaster that required opening the wall to see the drain piping... It was amazing. The previous owner of our house had tried his hand at plumbing... he failed. The Mr. Rooter crew (Matt, Jason, and Joseph) really ganged-up on the mess. They cut out all of the amateur piping job and replaced it, cleared the sewer line, and cleaned-up in one afternoon. And the price was less than estimated. Now we have larger drain piping, better flow, and they put in a clean-out port that is easy to access (without tearing up the wall). These guys are the BEST!! He did a good job. I wish the plumber would have the parts on the van that we told them when we called. We explained when we called what the repair was, but he still had to leave and go to the westend to get the parts which seems like a huge waste of time.Also - no one called to say he was on his way. Email is not always the best way to let someone know the plumber is coming, it was just by luck that I happened to see it and hurried home to meet him, but could have missed him very easily. When you are told someone will call when they are on the way, you need to remember to call so the customer doesnt miss you.

Im grateful for the work the guy named Jason (I think) did at our house, as well as his patience with my little foster daughter tagging along trying to help him, and chattering. After he went, she asked if Id call every number to get hold of him so we can see him again. I think maybe shell become a plumber now. Lol. Anyhow, I wanted to leave a good review because he really put in extra effort and was super sweet and nice. Thanks a ton!

Mr Rooter is our place to call. They are always courteous, they dont charge travel time. The rates, which sometimes still make me want to cry, are still as reasonable as possible. Don is a wonderful person who dances around 3dogs, small children and a mine field of Legos. In addition, he offered to fix our H2O pump free. Why would I go elsewhere?!

The technicians were available sooner than I had expected and did a good job of figuring out the issue as quickly as they could. Very friendly and professional service.

Don Summers was my technician and he is a 25+ year career plumber with an outstanding positive attitude. He also carries a great supply of parts & very good tools as this prevents “drive-offs” for parts & wasted time. Don has “seen it all” which helps perspective, is not condensending on partially complete efforts but willingly takes-it-from-here, and he is able to teach how to do it right which I appreciate. Flexibility in scheduling is helpful as it is truly unpredictable what his daily tasks may require to finish the job before mine. Overall, my Mr.Rooter & Don Summers experience must be rated highest possible. These guys are awesome & worth waiting for if you can; they have the depth of many if your project requires it too.

Mick is our hero! My daughters family had lost her water at home since September with their cistern not working. If people called back, half of the time they didnt show up or they would tell my son in law do this and do that and everything failed and people wouldnt call back. Mick came out, trouble shot ideas, checked back, called back and showed up and helped this little family have running water again!!! #amazing #highly recommend

Exceptionally fast response time, and very professional service. I was very impressed with Mick and his plumbing knowledge, I definitely recommend Mr. Rooter and Mick for plumbing concerns. Another company in town was going to make me wait four days, Mick was able to get there the same day. He was on-time, very responsive, and knowledgeable.

I saw the positive reviews and decided to call Mr Rooter. I made an appointment to have them hook up a new water heater for me that I had purchased. I was given a 3 hour time frame for when the plumber would be there and Chance Racine ( very nice young man) arrived in that time frame. He told me that they charge more to hook up a customer supplied tank and their labor warranty goes from 6 years to 1 year. He told me up front what it was going to cost and as I hadnt asked when I called I was a little taken aback by the amount but agreed to it. I had the old tank drained before he got there and the whole job was finished in just under two hours (which included a trip to the supply store). The bill was $699.07 which included $100-$140 approximately in parts, leaving $559 for labor or $279.50 per hour.

Their technicians are friendly, skilled, and got to our location quickly. We had a simple toilet problem located in the tank but none of us could figure it out after messing with it for a while, and they fixed it totally free of charge. I would recommend to friends and family.

Cannot brag enough about this company. First of all, offered a free consult where others were 79.95. Then beat the next lowest guesstimate by over 200. Then last but not least, Chance the service tech was an excellent source of information. Installed a new hot water heater, super clean and it was installed same day. Great man!! I have no idea how you could beat this company. And you actually talk to someone in Billings and not Bozeman or another state. Thank you and no doubt will use you for every plumbing need.

He not only fixed the leak and re-plumbed the kitchen sink, but after he did the dishwasher now drains! He is seriously knowledgable about plumbing and is so professional. Two years ago we purchased a home that had some plumbing issues. It was obvious the previous owner didnt take much care in various repairs throughout the house.The first time we called Mr. Rooter, it was at midnight. Our bathroom faucet broke, causing water to leak. Our shut off valve did not work (another awesome little tidbit left out of the disclosure from the previous owner). The plumber came promptly and helped us stop the leak. The next day, the problem was solved completely.Since that time we had a new shut off valve installed, in addition to a new tub. Our experience with Mr. Rooter in Billings has been awesome. Each interaction with various staff members has always been personable and professional. They are quick and most importantly, stand by their work. I wouldnt give a second thought to recommending this company to anyone in Billings who needs plumbing done.

Had a water heater issue at 5pm on a Monday, called them and the tech was at my house by 6pm, problem was fixed by 645 that night.Very knowledgeable and friendly.Will definitely use them in the future.

No issue with quality or speed of work. Issue was with the cost of the work. Charged over two times what you could get the garbage disposal for the same unit. Charged $168 for same unit that cost $86 on amazon, then charged another $205 to install unit. They knew that but didnt care. Will not use them again. They apparently dont want my business.

Had a problem with the on/off valve on my toilet during the weekend. Big leak. It was an emergency as turning off the water to the toilet would not work and I had to turn off the water to my house. Mr. Rooter was out an hour after I called and fixed the problem 10 minutes after arriving.Cost was at the higher end but worth the piece of mind and service you receive. I will use them for any plumbing issues.

Id been waiting for a plumber to arrive but after severral delays he tried to charge 3X what any sane expectation would be.Called these guys, they cant even quote a ballpark price for simply switching a faucet. No In the $100 range etc.So, not doing business with them. Reccomend no one else do business with them. One mans opinion.

Sorry guys.. not a good experience at all. Sent some newby to my place.. he couldnt get his smaller back up rooter machine to work right.. (since their normal one was out of commission). So I spent some time helping him get it working. New guy Ran a 2 cutter through a 3 cleanout into a 4 drain. Just enough to barely get it draining again then as i was paying him, told me no warranty because it had the worst tree roots hes ever seen. So I asked him how long hes been doin this work... 6 months. Asked him if he would at least run his cutter through one more time, responded by telling me he already spent 2 hrs at my place (apparently not taking into account the time we spent fixing his equipment). So $230 ..no warranty.. 1 cut with small cutter... then a few days later i get a phone call asking how their svc was. Told them the experience above (politely) was told i would get a call back... that was over a week ago. No reply. Never will use them again.

I had a terrible experience with a Tech. I believe named Don. He came in to my hoise to turn on a pilot light and instead of turning it on, lied to me saying he couldnt do it because the way it was vented was all wrong. He then Immediatly runs out the door..a secomd guy came out the next day and had it turned on in 5 mins with no problem. I find out the first tech called my landlord saying he was uncomfortable in my house. Ive now been calling for over a month trying to talk to this tech about what his problem was and he dodges my calls. And wont call me back. Im very frustrated about this. And Seriously makes me mad. I would recommend going to ANY OTHER plumbing service

I made the mistake of attempting to do my own plumbing project over the weekend and ended up completely flooding my kitchen, as well as sheering off the lever for the shut off valve under my mobile home. I called a couple of local places Monday morning but no one had time to come out the same day.Called Mr. Rooter and the nice gal on the phone (Kim I believe?) was super friendly and got me setup to have someone come out to my house later that afternoon.I had a technician named Ryan show up even before noon, with all the required parts on hand and got my valve fixed really quicky! He even went well out of his way to crawl underneath my kitchen area to dig inside the insulation and find the pipe that had fallen through the floor for me. Even called the city for me to have the after turned back on!!I would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone in need of a plumber, and they will be my first call now for life!
