I debated on whether I was going to leave a review or not, but here I am. I went in to get a full set of nails a few days ago cause I was in a wedding. The man that did my nails said his name was Kenny. Everything was going good until he pushed the top of my hand/wrist down multiple times because my hand wasnt positioned where he wanted it. I apologized multiple times and said I dont have flexible wrists like most people (got my unflexible wrists from my dad) I was on the verge of tears twice because he kept grunting in a way that made me feel like he was upset cause my wrists werent positioned the way he wanted. He never tried to move his chair or reposition himself to make it easier on the both of us. I felt embarrassed to say the least about the way my wrists are but I cant help that my wrists are this way! I am also upset because when I called and asked what a full set of nails would be I was told $45 but when I checked out I was charged $55. I just paid the $55 and left cause my anxiety was so high due to the way that man made me feel. The nails were pretty but I will NEVER go back.

Ive only been to only one salon and it was an horrible experience. I spent some time researching new nail salons to try out and this one was highly recommended. When I get Star Nails, everyone seemed so nice and were very informative for first time getting my nails done alone. They were so careful with my fingers and was quick. I enjoyed my experience! Coming again for sure.

This was my first time to this salon and walked away very happy! I came with my mom and we didnt have to wait even though we didnt have appointments. Technician did my nails (acrylic powder) and did a great job!! The shape and length perfect. We both had a great experience and plan on going back!

AMAZING nail spa! Im just mad I waited so long after my friends told me how wonderful Star Nails is to actually visit. Let me say this -- Ive been wearing gel manicure since my sophomore year of undergrad (now 8 years ago) and my manicure has never lasted 3-4 weeks. I do hear that every technician there is top notch.

Literally just called this salon and asked to have my nails repainted. horrible attitude, got smart with me and sounded annoyed. never going here this was so unprofessional.

Im writing this review while still in the chair. Walking in this place looks clean and luxurious. It gets better when I find out they have lined tubs and autoclave cleaned tools. She gave me a towel for my lap, this chair is high tech-more customizable than any Ive seen before. Shes taking the time and working on my problem toe. This place is greatThis place gets 5 stars off the color selection alone! Very satisfied from start to finish. The professionalism, customer service and amenities were all exquisite. I would highly recommend this place if you havent tried them yet.

This is the only place I trust with dip! Prior to meeting the lovely folks at Star Nails, I tried dip at other shops and it was a mess. I am picky about my nails and love this place! They have a frequent customer card too which is great. The last time I went in my toes were a mess and my cuticles seemed like a special case that may hurt to fix but they didnt even bat a lash and NO PAIN! Love this place.

NOT A PLACE TO GO FOR DIP NAILS! Yes, the people that work there are extremely friendly. I’m from out of town and have had dip nails done many times and many places where I live. They have no idea what they are doing with dip nails, and mine look terrible. It also took her 2 HOURS to do them from start to finish. I had an appointment so didn’t have to wait when I got there, but that is ridiculous. It’s never taken me more than about 45 minutes for dip, including the time to take off the old color.

This place pays such a great attention to detail and service. Every times Ive gone in here I have been welcomed but not overly shuffled in. They always make sure that every part of the process is satisfactory and do a great job with technique. I am a bi-weekly gel mani/pedi customer and it is great. The appointment can take a while, but that is because they pay attention and dont rush you! Great selection of colors, super well organized!

I came in today for some gel acrylics, first time ever getting my nails done, as a perfectionist myself, Im kinda of dissatisfied with the results:( some of my nails are bumpy, the cuticle on my ring finger is torn apart. And the finish is not completely smooth. I could cry, I dropped 50$ that I probably should have just saved instead of trying to spoil myself. As though I will say that as an empathetic person, I can see that he tried his best, and did tell me that if there are any problems I could come in to get it fixed. Very nice people, but i believe they rush themselves leading to a few minor errors.

I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this place. I went in for a shellac pedicure with technician and she exceeded all my expectations. She checked in with me at every step to make sure everything looked perfect.

This is my go to place for mani & pedis, I love the work technician does all the time, She is so sweet & always aims to please. Such a nice place to relax get a massage & chill. Complimentary water & tea. They have more services to offer.

The worst quality of nails I have ever gotten I get my nails done once a month and I have been doing that for over a year now and I have never had as many problems with my nails as I have from going to Star nails he cut them down way too short and when I clearly told him I did not like the color because it was not what I had picked out he told me I would get used to it now the acrylic is chipping off the tips of my nails while my nails are still there because the acrylic is too thin extremely unhappy will not return

Since my last experience at another place was just terrible, I had to give someone else another chance. The reviews for this place were ok so I decided to give them a try and it was a great experience!The front desk staff was ok. I only came for a pedi this time which the person that did my feet was awesome. So sad I forgot to ask her her name. From the reaction from other staff, she seemed to be the newby. She did an awesome job though! My feet were clean, polished, and she did great overall.Will be going back for sure!

I wouldnt even bother wasting your money if youre reading the reviews Im sure theyve had good ones but Ive been to a lot of nail salons to get my nails done and I have never had such awful quality of nails. After 2 hours my Nails are as thin as the plastic tips that they put on and I asked for them to make them bicker and was told I would have no problems with them the way they were. Literally broke a nail after I left just opening my car door and 4 in the last 3 days since Ive gotten them done. They have bubbles underneath and the top coat has been chipping off all of my nails. I paid way to much for nails I could have done better myself. Extremely unsatisfied and denied to give my money back. I do not want to go back to have them fix them. They shouldnt have been this awful.

I came from Colorado & have been looking for a place that does real gel nails in Billings for like 6 months & finally I have found the place! The guy that did them was super patient with my friend & I & was very friendly. Not at all awkward or quiet like most nail techs. He listened to what I wanted , even though I am not by any means a very good explainer lol. & the nails themselves came out absolutely amazing! I am so in love with them. He was super professional & was the first person in this town that I felt actually knew what he was doing! I HIGHLY recommend this salon for all of your nail needs!

My sister and I went here for two sets of acrylics. I haven’t been to a lot of nail salons for acrylics but these acrylics just don’t look right.. The tops of my nails are rough and bumpy (kinda embarrassed) What threw me off was that they don’t even do a proper manicure. No cuticle treatment, nothing. He ran his dremel tool over my nail beds. Some of my fingers this morning are sore due to that. There was also only four workers and I counted 7 customers in there at a time, the lady working on my sisters nails kept leaving and doing her own thing. I honestly wouldn’t go spend your money here, it’s expensive and they will most likely leave you unsatisfied..
