I am not one prone to writing reviews but I feel like this should be public knowledge. Dr. Kevin Sands anesthesiologist, Dr. Hadi Nassar, should not have a license to practice in the state of California. The HIPAA act of 1996 has been over looked by Dr. Nassar on a daily basis. The information that patients should carry with confidence of confidentiality between them and their doctor has been broken with almost every patient Dr. Nassar has treated at Dr. Sands office this past year. His violation of HIPAA came from a place of personal gain with a twinge of malicious intent. Do not trust this doctor. Do not let him treat you, your information is not safe.

I only have amazing things to say about Dr.Sands and his staff! The atmosphere is very trendy and definitely has a luxury vibe to it. He did miracle work on my teeth and fixed my chipped tooth. From the front desk to the hygienists this is the best experience I have had in dental care. I had a lot of anxiety with my chipped tooth, I couldn’t be happier that it’s fixed. First off let me say Im not a huge fan of going to the dentist (not sure many of us are, are we?) but my time spent in Dr. Sands office was a very pleasant experience! The office is so bright and beautiful with huge windows with great views overlooking LA all throughout. I met Dr. Sands and Laura, my hygienist that day. I came in for a deep cleaning and both of them made me feel very comfortable. She was very gentle and thorough with me and gave me great tips on how to keep up my dental hygiene, too. She also introduced me to the Burst toothbrush, which I love! So overall, wonderful experience and I have already scheduled my next appointment with them!

Finally I have found the right dentist!!!I’ve gone through my share of dentists over the years after my go-to dentist retired (honestly he was pretty old so probably for the best).Dr. Sands is professional, clean (important!), and easy going. I have hated all the dentists I’ve been trying but not anymore!I try to go for cleanings often (2-3 times a year ideally).Dr. Sands’s hygienists make it quick and easy. The office is bright and energetic; and you never feel like you’re going into a dark den (I’ve been to some dentist offices that truly look so dark you’re wondering why you’re going..)My dental insurance is honestly pretty useless... so not being ripped off by a dental office is bliss.The staff here are all helpful, kind, and professional.Highly recommend!!

I was recently in an accident that left me losing both of my front teeth, kind of how a kid looses his first two teeth. I was in horrible pain and wasn’t sure how or if my teeth were fixable. I had a strange pain in my tooth and couldnt get rid of it for several days. My brother asked me to call Dr. Kevin, as he has been Dr. Kevins patient for several years. I called and the next day he made an appointment, exmined my teeth and it turned that there was already a rotten tooth in my mouth. He did an excellent work and I didnt even noticed how the whole process went. Now everything is ok and already passed a month after my visit and fortunately there were no other rotten teeth. Also I asked him to do a whitening, which was just amazing!!! NOW I HAVE A PERFECT SMILE AND HEALTHY TEETH!!!

Beware! Dr Sands will not do an ethical job on you. I am in big, big trouble because I went to him. He never touched me. Another dentist in his office drilled my teeth and prepped me, not Sands.My veneers need to come off and be redone. He charged me $14,000 for 4 veneers and they are done INCORRECTLY.He has a very bad reputation and a lot of dentists know he is very bad.He is unethical and should not be in practice. Why the dental board has not removed his license to practice is beyond me. Do not go here. DR SANDS IS DANGEROUS.

I have been going to Dr. Kevin Sands for years now and would never trust my teeth to anyone but Dr. Sands and his incredible staff, particularly Megaly who always cleans my teeth.Janina and Justin go above and beyond and are always warm and welcoming and I never have to wait for my appointment. Megaly is amazing and always makes me feel comfortable. Dr Sands and his team were amazing! I got 4 front vaneers put in and his team were so friendly and not pushy at all! My teeth look beautiful and sooo NATURAL (in a perfect natural way ;) ). I was referred to Dr Kevin Sands for a consultation and some scans / x-rays after seeing Dr Diamond. From the minute that I arrived, the team and staff were so friendly. Dr Kevin Sands has bent over backwards to help me and I couldnt be more grateful. As someone who has lived in several places (the UK, Ireland, NY and Vancouver...) I havent found a dentist that I enjoy going to and usually dread the idea. However with a team like that, a great Dentist and that amazing view from the chair - how could you not enjoy going. I have been coming to Dr. Sands for about 20 years, and have had everything done from veneers to crowns to root canals to dental implants. From the first time I set foot in the office, I have received first class treatment and expert care. They treat me like family here, spend time with me patiently explaining procedures, recommendations, and really having my best interest in mind. This was probably my best experience I could ever expect!! I have decided to clean my teeth and after to have a whitening, but after visiting many other docotors I was a bit afraid!!! Let me start by saying Dr. Sands is the best dentist I have ever met!!!!! I am very grateful to Dr. Sands and his team for their professionalism, speed, and effectiveness. I went after seeing all the great reviews on yelp and google. Very happy with my result. Will be returning very soon.

Be very careful about going to this dentist. And do your homework about what it means to get porcelain teeth. you need an excellent dental surgeon and a ceramicist who is an artist, and they need to work well together. I paid Sands a fortune for a full set of upper and lower restorations. But the work was sub-sub par. His staff was stingy with anesthesia, and he seemed rushed when doing the work. Cosmetically, I looked like I got a new set of horse teeth, my bit was permanently misaligned, the teeth were painful and became severely infected. His quality of work was so shoddy that I had to have all my restorations removed and redone by a real professional. I cannot recommend this person.

I met Kevin Sands briefly and I liked that he was safe to meet & well known but he wasn’t interested in helping me get teeth because I was shy of income and had too many missing teeth. I lived overseas in England for five years and when I talked to him he wasn’t sensitive. Verbally I’m very expressive myself and when he said his idea for treatment he fibbed, was loose to talk too and said something borderline rude so my feelings were hurt. Since my teeth broke I’ve had to meet extra new people compared to others and he rubbed that in. I’m used to a compliment in health and he didn’t really compliment me any way or give me a further idea for dental repair.

Dr Sands and his staff are fantastic, courteous and professional and always have a smile on their faces. Office is so hi-tech and beautiful and they do the best smile makeover and it’s so authentic and worth it. Thx Sands DDS and the team.

I just had a full mouth of veneers done by dr Kevin sands and love my new smile. The experience was very detailed with choosing the perfect shade of porcelain to fit my skin tone. His artist did a wonderful job widening lengthening and brightening my teeth. I had a full mouth of veneers done previously by another dentist in Beverly Hills but wasn’t 100% satisfied. After my experience with dr Kevin and his staff I have exactly what I asked for and will be in love with my smile for the rest of my life. highly recommended!

My sister Tina Owens DIED because of events that took place in Dr Kevin Sands office February 20, 2019. It was a year ago today that I went with Tina to Dr. Sands office for a dental procedure where she was given anesthesia. In the care of Dr. Sands who was working on her teeth and Dr. Hadi Nassar (Dental anesthesiologist) my sister Tina, having been sedated for 40 minutes stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.I was in the room next to Tina while alarms were going off, the office was chaotic and Dr. Sands and others seemed to have no idea how to handle this situation. He along with others were giving false information and a false sense of hope telling us Tina was stable. It wasnt until I spoke with Dr. Nassar that I realized the severity of my sisters injuries.When she arrived at the hospital Tina had severe brain damage caused by lack of oxygen to her brain.Dr. Nassar and I took an Uber together from his office to the hospital. I asked Him how this could happen and as he was apologizing he explained it...Tinas vitals had been normal 5 minutes before things went wrong, The next time they came up which was 5 minutes later her blood pressure read 0 over 29. Dr. Nassar said he did not react to this because he assumed this reading was an anomaly, but when her reading came up again 5 minutes later it was still 0 over 29. Thats when Dr. Nassar told me he realized there was a problem, He started giving her CPR which he said took another 2 minutes to get a heart beat. So Tina had been without oxygen for about ten minutes before he began any kind of CPR. When first responders arrived Tina was again or still not breathing. My beautiful sister Tina never woke up and DIED in the hospital twelve days later. She left behind her husband of 27 years,4 children and family who loved her dearly. There is a void in our hearts and we will forever miss her.If you are considering Kevin B. Sands, DDS, cosmetic dentist, for any treatment, think carefully. Ask about lawsuits, the Dental Board investigations and now, about Tina. Dr Sands takes pictures with celebrities to promote his business but please dont be swayed. Celebrity pictures do not equate to safe or good dental care.

Dr. Kevin Sands and his staff are truly AMAZING!! On my first visit I went in for routine check up and consultation. I was given the red carpet treatment the minute I walked in the door. I was referred by friend who has been a patient of Dr. Sands for past 7 years. If you are shopping for new dentist Dr. Kevin B.Sands is the best in town!!

I have been going to this office for about 6 years and they are excellent. They provide great care and excellent customer service. Dr. Anna Lisa Talasazan has done three crowns now for me and they were painless and well crafted. I would recommend this office to anyone who is seeking premier dental care. It does not get any better than this office. The hygenists, the office staff and the doctors are all top notch and extremely friendly. One time I even got complementary zoom whitening from Dr. Sands himself because my appointment was accidentally double booked. I love this office and will continue to seek dental care from them.

The process was relatively easy. I had to wear temporary veneers for about 10 days. They were a bit sensitive to hot and cold at times, but nothing too bad. I had to be careful not to bite into anything too hard or sticky during this time too. Dr. Sands office would call and check in periodically to make sure I was doing well. Overall it was all quite painless and worth it. I would do it all over again in a heart beat!

Honestly the best dentist ever. The dentist has always been terrifying to me, but Dr. Sands and his staff were kind, gentle, and totally put me at ease! Everyone went the extra mile to put me at ease and make sure I was comfortable! My teeth look and feel a million times better. Thank you Dr. Sands!!
