The best nail art techs and the owner Diane is so sweet! Clean sanitary comfortable nail shop on Robertson. Worth the price. Good waxing also and awesome massage!

Diane, the owner, more than made up for the wait with exceptional work - meticulous - and concern not to miss a step and make hands and feet perfect - even with customers waiting. I was one of them and was starting to fume with too much to do when I get home. Now on the flip side and hearing niceties from loyal customers coming in and out, I realize I’ll be one of them too.

I have known Diane, the owner, for more than 30 years and have been seeing her for manicures/pedicures and waxing.Jack and Nancy due an excellent job of manicure be pedicures plus massages as well as Lily plus wit waxing. I highly recommend them. I for the first time has dip powder and was so happy with my service from JackEspecially with now being overly cautious of services I have to say that contempo nails have exceeded my expectations of how clean their place is and the service provided. Highly recommend them

Not sure what roll this Diane plays with Contempo Nails, but she is a very unprofessional individual and really doesnt care if you are coming to her for services. I am in the salon business and I called to recommend a senior citizen client who may need special care, but she barely heard me out and said she would have to call me back (not having my number) because she was busy. In this business, we are all busy but you take the time to accommodate a client or at the least try to show empathy. After all we are in the business of helping people feel and look better. Rethink your visit to this establishment, there is an array of other places to take your business.

Great quality with Diane, if she has time and isnt juggling others. Could make an appointment and come in to realize she has multiple people waiting. Its very likely to be an hour wait. Not an exaggeration as its happened more than once to me.

My mother and I have gone to this shop a couple time and we had a horrible experience last time. Sometimes the lady there does your nails on her lap with her chair next to you. She did that with my mother yesterday. But this time she had her twist her arm over to her side. It was an uncomfortable position so she was moving a little. The lady said stop moving! And my mom told her my back hurts its hard I cant, can you move to the other side. She said No and go somewhere else next time! We were shocked. Shes good at her job but very rude. That may be why its always empty there. You get what you pay for.

Came here today to get my nails ready for Valentines Day and was very satisfied. I have to say this is the nicest salon Ive been to. Brian and Christine did a great job on acrylic fill gel. Love it... I will be back.

Good quality service. I went many times over the years, never disappointed. Sometimes they do mani/pedi the same time. Its always good to come late morning early afternoon. You dont need an appointment unless you have your favorite.

When time is dedicated, great quality. But making an appointment doesnt mean shell set aside the time for you and thats sad. Hopefully it gets better.

I was offended enough to write this review!I called Contempo Nails about 7:00 PM asked if they take walk-ins? I was told to go in after 8:00 pm. I arrived about 15min early to see only one person working which that didnt bother me at all. So as I walk in, I say good evening and immediately the female who had a customer got a glimpse of me and yelled out NO NO NO without saying hello and or allowing me to say more. Other salons are very apologetic but not this lady at Contempo! I feel she was being racist! she was rude & unprofessional!

Sucks. Too busy. Too few staff. Theyre cruising on an old reputation when everything was great. Go down to J+B or up Robertson to Natures Nails. Excellent work. No smell. Nice people. Comfortable seating.

This is the Most excellent nail Spa!! In fact, any negative reviews, which are few, are absent photo icons, or post a low rating with absolutely no comment. I personally believe they are authored by a bitter, former employee whom did not wish the salon or its owner well.

Such a wonderful nail salon in Beverly Hills. Great service on nails, they are very attentive and are great with nails. Diane is the best.

Nice place, quick service. Reasonably priced. Note that its cash/check only, when I went (Jan 2014) it was $13 for a pedi and $12 for a 20 minute seated neck & shoulder massage. Ill return.

Very friendly , beautiful job

The owner is such a sweet lady. She goes the extra mile to be of service. I travel all the way to Beverly Hills from MDR to have her take care of my Mani/pedi weekly. She also has late hours on Sunday.

Lots of nail places on Robertson. This is my favorite. Nice people who do a great job.

The reason I came to this salon was because of Google and the comments say its the best place to go to and great service. First the Google pics of this place is absolutely incorrect. This place looks like crap! Worst service ever. I ask the lady to do my nails a certain way and she said huh?! What are u talking about and u said never mind . Then they have this janky atm machine that did not work so the lady put some crusty dollars in the machine . Long story short DO NOT COME HERE ITS OTHER NAIL SALONS WALKING DISTANCE FROM THIS BROKE DOWN PLACE ! DO NOT GO

This is ABSOLUTELY the BEST nail salon in LA!!!!...Ive been a customer here for about seven years.Its SUPER CLEAN and the most personal, friendly and comfortable service Ive EVER had at a nail spa. Diane, the owner, takes such a personal interest in all of her customers. She works so hard for us to have the best experience...She has even given me the most gracious coupons for free services...and Ive turned around and watched her pay her technicians from her pocket to compensate for my services...Shes sooooo sweet!...I JUST LOVE HER...IVE ALWAYS BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Ive turned many friends on to this wonderful little place and theyve ALL loved it...and most have become regulars too now!This place AWAYS has enough techs...you rarely ever wait...and if you do...they give u awesome massages while you do and while they service you!!! Im so spoiled. LOL...Theyre prices are super low too...BEST price on GEL Ive seen anywhere...and Melissa and Sandy, the 2 brow wax technicians...AWESOME!!!...precision hands!Ive heard some rumors from another store I frequent on that block that another nearby nail shop on Robertson has been harassing the owner of Contempo Nails...and writing attacks online....just trying to drive her business away, so they wont lose customers...I definitely believe its true...because theres no other way this place would get ANY bad Yelp reviews...Those MUST be FAKE!...Ive never met anyone who didnt LOVE Contempo!...It truly the BEST!!!...Go see for yourself!

After having my nails for a week, three acrylic nails have come off!! Will not be coming back.
