The place is crowded even during the corona virus. People go in and out without a care in the world and come back to sleep in a crowded room. That isnt corona virus safety at all. Theres a lady name quenn she claims to help people or maybe she actually does but from my experience when dealing with her. I havent been getting helped from her. Ive gotten 3 lies from her so far. Shes very forgetful and very disorganized. I told her my name twice and she still mistaken me for someone else twice after that. There has been an issue and she lied. I feel like this place is only good for getting food and a place to rest. But as far as help. No. Its bad enough they dont even answer their phones but they also have molded food in the dining room for anyone to eat.

Brian and the rest of the Victory House family are amazing. They go to great lengths to ensure the comfort of all the residents. I volunteer my time here because of their compassion for those in need. What theyre doing for the community is amazing, and I highly recommend getting involved to ANYONE that cares about the well being of others.

As a combat veteran, I can honestly say this program is a better fit than a few others I have tried to go to for help. Especially compared to actual programs provided by the VA itself, this place is a much more positive atmosphere. The building itself is safe and cozy, and staff makes you feel like you’re finally home. That’s a feeling I haven’t felt since I got out 2014. The program provides what you are willing to work for. If you want to stay sober, there are programs and referrals the case workers and staff can provide you to achieve that. If you want a job, the staff can help you and has reps from PAcareerlink come and provide excellent advice and services. If you need basic life things such as insurance and food stamps, they can help you with that. Food here is gourmet compared to the VA, and with all the donations from outside organizations you’ll never go hungry, just watch your weight though. And the ultimate goal is housing and stability.By coming here, you are making a statement about yourself that you are ready to change. This isn’t a rehab or an inpatient MH facility, you come here once you are stable with that. They will help you build a solid foundation to get on your feet and stay straight. They will help you find affordable housing, help you move in, and will continue to help you for as long as you need it. I have the best social worker here that I ever dealt with in all my years with the VA. This is a grant per diem, and will count against your 3x gpd limit through the VA. But if you come here, and work and stay focused, this can be your last gpd program.

Should be investigated by the county for welfare fraud, money laundering, misuse of funds, and the IRS for tax evasion, etc. I know times are hard and everyone is feeling the pinch but DAM😦😮😯😤😧

It is a good work since it is a welcome center for people who want to recover from vices such as drugs, alcohol and other vices. They give them bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner, its like home.
