We were helped by Gail who processed passports for my children. We were very late to our appointment due to an accident on 22. She graciously agreed to process their passports even though they were closing the passport services in 5 minutes. She also was very thorough and caught a couple of mistakes I made on the applications. Thank you Gail, for your exceptional service.

Unresponsive and unhelpful. Were careful to track every package we order and ours has been sitting there for several days. Thats fine if there are logistical kinks to work out, but wed like an explanation and theyre exceptional at not answering the phone. This particular order is time sensitive and were displeased with the service (or lack thereof) were receiving. Do better.

I ordered a package from an online store. I’ve ordered from this store before with 3 day delivery and it should’ve have gotten here today BUT IT HASNT MOVED FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Last time they sent my order through another USPS and it came at the correct time but not from here. Reading the reviews I can see why it has such low ratings. I even tried calling and no one answered. This is utterly ridiculous. In the other reviews it also says they don’t answer the phone. Avoid this place at all costs. I’m complaining to the online store too.

Lehigh Valley USPS in Bethlehem...After all of these years of horrible reviews, still not one postmaster general has fixed this place. The absolute worst customer service, nobody answers a phone and the distribution center is a black hole for your packages to just sit for weeks undelivered. They’re ratings would be lower if they allowed users to post zero star reviews because that’s what they deserve.Absolutely horrible. I’m not buying the Covid excuse either. They were horrible before that.

I have had several items damaged that I shipped first class in the last few weeks. I have been using USPS to ship eBay items for many years with very few items ever arriving damaged until the last few weeks.What does DO NOT BEND in large letters mean ?

I have made online purchase and after not receiving my package for two weeks and still waiting, tracking # shows that my package has been sitting in USPS facility in Lehigh Valley for 11days now and no response when trying to call.

Terrible customer service. Nobody answers the phone for any questions. They will turn you away for appointments despite trying to call them for 15 minutes with questions. I won’t ever be coming back here again. They should fire everyone and start over with this location.

The girls behind the counter are too busy talking ill about previous customers that instead of doing their job they improperly scan my 70 packages as delivered instead of in transit. Employees steal packages. Beware!!!!!

Terrible place to deliver. Arrived 30 min early for a drop shipment and am still waiting to be unloaded 3 hours later. They’re only getting 13 pallets! Drivers be warned. This place will ruin your hours of service.Wanted to provide an update. Last time I was here, the expediter explained that loading and unloading is taking longer than usual because of COVID-19. Many postal employees are using time off and staying home.

Unacceptable that I cantake an appointment to get fingerprints so when I went to get it done I had to wait very long because a whole family of 5 where getting passport and they had appointments very unfair for the people that have to get fingerprints for a job.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! We moved December 20. I gave them written notice well before with our forwarding address. We didnt sell the house until February 4. We were NOT getting our mail at the new address. Whenever we checked our OLD mailbox, we had mail!!! When I questioned the PO they couldnt give me an answer. I emailed them 3 times and NEVER got an answer. Today I heard from a friend who works there that our mail is piling up and they dont know what to do with it!!!!!!!!!!!! Im pulling may hair our right about now. WHAT IDIOTS!

The most awful customer service I ever encountered. We shipped a package via overnight delivery on Wednesday 4/24. As we missed the evening cutoff time the package was to be shipped Thursday morning (4-25) and arrive by noon on Friday 4-26. The package did not arrived on the guaranteed time and per the tracking was not even shipped out of the starting location for 2 days. I went to the branch where I shipped the package to get a refund. I was told there was nothing they could do as they were only a branch office. The service rep tried to called the main branch of the post office, and the rep told me that the post office was not answering their phone. I tried to call the 800 number for the post office and was put into an almost endless menu of options. However none of the options covered my problem. Finally I found a way to try to speak to a live person, but the wait time would be over 40 minutes. I have yet to be contacted by anyone from the postal service. The $ 25.00 wasted on the deliver is not nearly as important as the fact that I was shipping overnight because the delivery is time critical. My big mistake was not going to FedX or UPS. I am done with the US postal service for any package or express deliveries.

I work at a church. A member accidently mailed their offering envelopes with other mail. They notified me as soon as they realized what had happened. Today, when opening mail, there was an envelope with the two offering envelopes enclosed. Thank you for your integrity and for your efforts to return the envelopes unscathed to us. Blessings!

Since no one picked up the phone at the Post Office on 535 Wood St. for days, I finally called the one on Commerce Way. John answered and gave me a date - 2 days later - for passport application.I arrived on time and Sharon helped me with patience and competence. It seems the Post Office on Commerce Way is MY post office now. Thank you so much!!!

First class mail is an important part of my life. And I love my experience at this Post Office. I have grown to know the clerks, and they are helpful beyond the call of duty. I greatly fear that social media will ultimately usurp the place of snail mail, and I dread it. But until then, this Post Office is my refuge. Thanks, all of you!

There phone service is terrible. You never get a live person you just go around in circles. And every time you have to hang up and call back. Tracked My package it went to Lehigh valley post office. From there it was suppose to go on the truck to Bangor, but instead went to Wilkes Barre no clue as to why the hell my packing went to WilkesBarre. Now it is sitting at that location. Trying to call and talk to someone in Lehigh valley or WilkesBarre yea right! Thank you, so discusted the package was a gift not going to have it as it sits in limbo at a location that it should have NEVER went to. Called several times again worthless!!

Terrible. I ordered an item as a Christmas gift and was shipped to Lehigh Valley 12/20/16. Its still sitting there almost 3 weeks later. When I called to find out why they laughed and said itll be awhile before you see that package.... thanks! As the united states post office I wouldve hoped for better service.

This service sucks. I used the text alerts for up dates and from the first alert they said expected delivery date is July 22. The 22nd came and went with no package delivery. The very next alert said expected delivery date July 23, and here it is July 23 and guess what? the mail man done came and went and still still no package. I would advise any and every one to use a different mailing service. USPS sucks

Long lines, slow lazy staff. The clerk shorted me a dollar on change. When I challenged this I was handed the dollar right away. Makes me wonder if shorting customers is a regular thing.

Downright terrible. I could write a novel on all the times USPS has wronged me, just in the past few months. I ship quite a few packages, and have had a number of them lost. They barely even scan to update tracking info for starters, and then about 5-10% of them never make it to the destination. Losses happen, but thats unacceptable. Ive filed claims and they dont acknowledge it. Out of a couple hundred dollars of *insured* mail being lost, Ive gotten a whopping $0 back from them for their mistakes, then I have to re-send the customers order again and take a double loss. Thanks for nothing USPS.

Package was confirmed earlier in the day by cust svc. Called to schedule pick up for that afternoon, the gentleman assured me he was pulling package for pickup and will call to confirm for the evening... Yeah... never called... Phone rang over and over again through redials for close to 30 minutes WHILE they are posted to be open for business. This has not been the first time, nor do I doubt it will be the last. Makes you wonder what happened... USPS used to be very reliable, Now I almost wish UPS delivered all my mail...

Terrible customer service. Package has correct address, went instead to northampton post office, who had excellent customer service, then went to philly, then to lehigh valley. When I called the employee was rude and didnt want to help. I usually have great service with usps, but not this time. Terrible.

Absolutely horrible! The only reason Im giving Lehigh Valley post office one star is because it simply wont let me give them zero!They must be short staffed in there or just terrible at their job. I was expecting a package Friday, and every place I saw it would arrive then depart soon after, it was pretty chill..... Until it came to none other than Lehigh Valley. They held my package for roughly 4 days, so now, instead of me getting my package Friday I will be getting it Monday.. F-ing lovely. *insert middle finger emoji here*

It would be nice if they answered the phone once in awhile. An anonymous user posted Great service for the price. If you have problems go back to where ever you came from. When anybody living in my area orders anything from anywhere else in the country it has to come through that post office. If the places I ordered from had other options I would use them. I have a parcel that is sitting in Lehigh Valley thats been there since (very early) Friday morning and there is STILL no record of it leaving Lehigh Valley on Monday. Priorty Mail is a joke. Ive read the other reviews too. Funny how they ALL seem to have either 1 or 5 stars and nothing in between.

My package was shipped right away from New Jersey, everything was going smoothly until it hit Lehigh Valley. My package has been sitting in the Lehigh Valley post office since the 10th. It was supposed to arrive at my house, which is an hour away from Lehigh Valley, on the 15th. It is now the 17th and it is still sitting at the post office. I called there to see if maybe my package got lost in transit or what have you. When I called them, the lady told me it would probably take 2 to 3 weeks before I even see it moved. She also stated it would be going back to New Jersey and come back to PA. Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. From here on out when I order something I will go straight to Lehigh Valley to pick my package up myself. Oh and to add onto it all, the lady couldnt have hung up faster on the phone. I get theyre busy but I wasnt rude I was simply inquiring to see if they could help me track my package. I said thank you so much, then I heard a click. She hung up on me! No Merry Christmas no happy holidays no nothing. Just a punch in the face for probably being one of the nicest phone calls shell get all day long.

Ordered an item from Ebay it was sent to Coplay,PA by FedEx smartpost it was the wrong post office. I was supposed to have it on Nov 21. Coplay post office sended to This post office they do not answer the phone at all being calling the whole day and it is Nov 30 and have not yet got my package. I even call USPS they do not know where is at because it was not scan.

On June 15, I bought an item on ebay from someone in York, PA, and it was supposed to arrive in Baltimore, MD on or about June 18.The tracking shows it left Lehigh Valley PO at 5am on June 17, and ....I STILL havent received it yet.The seller tells me hes showing several other items sitting there at Lehigh Valley PO.This is really ridiculous, I couldve walked to York, picked it up personally and been back by now.
