First of all, allow me to say, I am very grateful that temp agencies exist. During the COVID period, I was laid off my job. I applied for many jobs and received phone calls and emails from various temp agencies. However, Randstad stood out among the competition. Ironically, I received two emails from two different representatives within Randstads organization. I wasnt sure if they were working together or not, but both reps were working with me and keeping in touch. Moreover, I was able to successfully find an ongoing 30 hour a week position. At least it got me out of the house and I had steady income for the time being. Whenever there was an issue, they responded in a timely manner. Randstad exemplified (to me) a great deal of consideration towards the unemployed and temp workers. Reps; Juliet, Patrick, Alexa, Nicole, and James stepped in whenever my primary rep was unavailable. The team started off strong the first 2 weeks. Constant communication and always checking in. Then it seemed like they just stopped caring as I would go 1 - 2 weeks not hearing anything unless I reached out. Especially from Patrick, he basically didnt exist after the 2nd week. They only kept offering temp positions when I made it very clear I needed a stable position. Francesca always say we have no full-time positions, when Im pretty sure they did. They were just giving them to their more preferred clients. I felt like an option to be used to fill positions they couldnt fill which usually were temp assignments.Especially after James offered me yet another temp assignment and I initially said no because I was tired of only being offered something not stable. But, when I saw the pay and that it would last as least 6 months I reached back out within 10 minutes after the call. Literally 10 minutes and he tells me oh sorry I already sent them 4 applicant resumes. They needed 4. Like seriously? In 10 minutes after speaking with me? I clearly was just a number to fill their submission quotasI have a Masters degree and good experience on resume. I find it impossible that there be nothing stable for me. Also just FYI a lot of these reviews the company asked if you could leave one before they even get placed somewhere. This review is after dealing with them for 3 months trying to get work that seemed to not exist

In my experience, randstad are always the fastest to find professional work assignments with very good companies in the Montgomery County area. I have successfully used randstad (Bethesda office) for job recruitment ever since Ive moved to Maryland and gained experience with good companies (such as FINRA, Aecom, etc.) as a result. I have noticed from conversations Ive had with management and coworkers that many top of the line companies, at least in the Montgomery County area, prefer using talent from randstad for contract and temp to hire positions that become available. So far my experience with randstad has been a very positive one and I refer others who give me various opinions about other employment agencies to randstad.

She was unprofessional, I literally wasted my time considering I was turned away at the door despite having an appointment, and no effort was made to accommodate or reschedule.
