Would prefer not to complain on here but I could not find another forum to do so. I’ve used AAA on and off for 20+ years. I’ve always had good service. I initiated a roadside assistance call in Vestavia at approximately 1:50 CST. The original estimated time of arrival was 2:20, then that changed to 3:45 then 4:05. Its 4:15 and still no one has shown up. Someone did finally call and say they were on the way. By the time they get here it’s going to be close to 3 hours before someone shows up. It’s going to be hard for me to pull the trigger to renew my membership if this is the kind of service I should expect going forward.Update: 4:38 CST- still sitting here waiting

Insurance is awful, I had an accident and because my car was at fault they didnt hesitate to total out my car because it was new. It took forever to get a response and when I did it was again a run around came. I cancelled my insurance policy because I found a cheaper and better quote, so I called in 08/2019 to cancel the insurance along with road side assistance. Now date all the way to 01/03/2020 $162.00 was taken out my account for road side assistance that was supposed to be cancelled in 08/2019. Lets not forget I was quoted a price of $95 dollars on a two year basic because of all the cars on the policy. I called them on the 01/3/2020 and 01/7/2020 and Im getting the run around again I just want my money put back in my account for a membership that was cancelled last year. It takes them no time to reach in and get the money but takes 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS to give it back. Highly upset I would not recommend them to anybody.....

Policy is what it is. Got rear ended, and it took 5 days to get a claim number. I did try to get the claim office on the phone immediately at the scene, via the 24/7 call and report immediately number on the back of my insurance card.I have the audio on my dashcam for that where I kept trying, and they gave me the runaround. Everyone I have talked to locally about this seem to not understand why, and honestly I have no idea why either. Once I got to my local branch, we got a claim number. Easy peasy. Apparently Im the only person who has ever been told were just roadside.I just hope... that now that I have someones email and direct number, that we can get through this....Now, on a previous claim, they had NO issue doing a claim when it was something against me.I also wanted to ask a simple question, but unfortunately, the person answering the phone acted like a full-stop barrier. They kept on focusing on a different claim, and would not even let me speak about this one.... that I FINALLY got started/a claim number for.I had to waste more time, drive down there to the office, to ask my question. My question had a short simple answer when I got there. It didnt have to be that complicated.Vicki (sp?) always treated me right (within AAAs policy at least), but as a whole, AAAs insurance product just plain stinks compared to other policies I had in the past. Vicki is why I give AAA 2 stars instead of 1. I think she was trying her best.State Farm, who I came from, even though they accused me of false odometer every year (I work from home), they at least gave me a claim number when I called, and they ultimately covered things in the end, like glass, which AAA doesnt cover at all. I keep learning of things with AAA that are not covered, or just under-insured...The ultimate irony is, the Missouri AAA was sitting there accusing me of the false odometer thing too... the very reason why I left State Farm. I even ended up going down to the Acton Rd office to drag someone out to the car, so they can look for themselves. On a modern car, you cant fake the odometer reading like you can on an older car... this is a 2017.Seems like every time I need AAA for something, even if it is simply to update phone numbers, its unnecessarily difficult.Trust is important, and I need to be able to trust that my insurance company will handle things without argument, in the policy, and that the policy is sufficient for incidents like this current one.Im frustrated, stressed out, and didnt need all that added on to the fact that a potentially uninsured motorist just rear ended me....

I love the staff there except for One individual. He is scam artist and very rude to deal with. Never gets my information due dates right and tries to cancel my auto insurance constantly. Way to many excuses instead of doing his job the correct way.
