I recently added myself to the list for an iPhone 13 , 10 weeks before it came out , and as you can imagine I was very excited for the newest technology in the iPhone line up.Finally a week before my phone was shipped to my closest Verizon store (Berlin,Vermont) my preorder call came , I was so excited to place an order for the phone I wanted. A week went by and tracking told me it had been delivered, so I called and set a time to come in and trade my iPhone 12 for the 13 .Upon arrival introduce myself And told them my new iPhone 13 had been delivered there so they sent me up , they went out back and got my phone! Instantly I knew there was gonna be a problem with this place as there usually is !The problem !! the instant problem that I Saw right off the bat was the paper that came with the phone ! these people had no idea as if they’ve never been through this before !! So as you can imagine here I am standing there watching them trying to figure out what’s going on my morale for my new phone had dropped in my throat, for some reason I instantly knew this was not going to happen, as I sat down with the rep he started driving down on paper money I was going to have to have this money I was gonna have to have for that and he came up with a total of around $336 for a trade-in needless to say I am so unbelievably disappointed in this place that I’ve dealt with for a few years now every time I go in there something goes amidst I don’t know why I expected anything different this time around I give these people a two star and that simply because they’re there!!If y’all have Verizon I seriously do not suggest the one in Burlington Vermont because it’s always a hassle

We went to this retailer after receiving some promo information on trade-ins, and we had a great experience with them. Chance was very professional and provided a detailed and clear breakdown of benefits and costs by comparing current and potential services -something we did not fully have from another/different vendor. He was able to answer all our questions and provided useful advice on many aspects of our transition to a new plan. I strongly recommend this vendor, as they provide a great experience and top quality customer service.

I ordered a new iPhone 12 Pro from the Verizon website to upgrade from the iPhone 8. The setup process and data transfer from my old phone seemed to work, but during the last part of the process I got the error “set up failed- try again later”, which I stride repeatedly with no success. The phone could not send or receive calls or texts. I took it to a different Verizon store but after two hours they determined that my new phone was rejecting the 5G SIM card and told me to drive an hour to the corporate store. Luckily, my wife suggested I get a second opinion from the store on the Barre-Montpelier Road before making the trip, because Spencer had my phone diagnosed and working within five minutes. He literally saved my day, or at least several hours in the car. I could not be happier with the service I received or Spencer’s knowledge and professionalism. Highly recommend.

My iPhone suddenly lost service, I went in to get a fix with half expecting to need a new phone. Kristopher went through all the steps to ensure that it wasn’t the phone itself. After exhausting all options, we decided to go for a new phone/upgrade. I’ve never been one to be “happy” about the phone buying process, but Kris made it fun and light! Very disappointed with the service at this location. My phone stopped working so my wife and I went to this Verizon location to get some assistance. Without even looking at my phone, the rep (name kept private as I do not wish to attack any individual) said I needed a new phone. Not even a 2 second glance or try to run a diagnostic. Since my wife and I have better service with AT&T at our new home we moved to last year, we shared that we would go across the street to switch carriers...if I needed a new phone, and they were unwilling to even look at mine before telling us we had no other choice but to buy a new phone, I rather buy a new phone with a carrier that has better service where we live. The rep flipped and was beyond rude, so much so that other customers in the store all stopped to stare at his outrage towards us stating we didnt tell him that before. When I asked if that would make a difference in how he could help us, he got even more rude. When my wife kindly shared he was out of line and being very rude to us, he escalated and continued to make insulting and rude comments to us as we were walking away.A simple look at a phone when a customer says their phone is not working would have gone a long way. I wonder how many other people bought new phones when they didnt have to? Be careful at this location and be sure to ask questions before getting roped into buying a new expensive phone that you may not even need.

Run as fast as you can from these people. I bought a phone from them just under a month ago. I was sold a promotion I wasnt entitled to, was quoted an $800 trade-in and a monthly paymen.bt of $114. I got a $140 trade in and a payment of $138.00 a month. |The man who sold me this pack of lies was Chris (I think). He took 4 hours to complete the sale, during which time I learned every single detail of his life. Ive tried repeatedly to resolve this with the franchise management and today was denied my request for a refund. Today they told me I have one moth to return the phone, which expires in 3 days. The only option I have is to return to this store, work with the folks who lied to me in the first place and trade in for a phone I didnt want to start with. I owned a retail shop for 13 years, and if I had an employee like that, Id have fired him long ago.

I went to add a phone to my plan and remove a tablet. They were not up front about the costs and how my next bill would appear, when I had to sign up for auto pay, and they never removed the tablet. I set up 3 appointments to discuss my bill with them via phone and was never called. I went to a different store who told me they cannot remove tablets in store and helped me get it off only to inform me that I still had to pay for the extra time it was on there. I went back to the original store to see if they could help me understand why my bill was not what they quoted and although the first person I talked to tried to help he called over someone else who was rude and basically didn’t care that I had not been told about being credited for my old plan or partially billed for the new one. They did not care that I had been given inaccurate information about when I had to sign up for autopay to get the discount. He did not care that I had to pay extra for the tablet because it had not been removed when I had been told it was. He told me to call customer service because they couldn’t help me in store and asked me what I expected them to do. I wanted to know why they were not up front about my bill and why they told me they took the tablet off when they did not. I said I wish they had a manager I could talk to. They again told me to call customer service but to try tomorrow because they have long hold times and I was not likely to get a real person. They did not want to look into my bill more, claiming they could not. They did not offer to call customer service with me like the other store had. They simply wanted an unhappy customer out of their store. I called customer service, waited less than 5 minutes on hold, learned that all of the bill was accurate and should have been explained to me to begin with when it was not. Customer service could not reduce my bill but they did file a corporate complaint about how I was treated in store. I would not recommend going here. You will not have an accurate representation of what you bill will be and the fees you will accrue and if you try to discuss with them they will not help you and they will tell you to call customer service. Don’t waste your time.

I have never had a more positive sales experience than I did this January at the Verizon in Berlin. I stopped by to see what options were available to me for a phone upgrade and had the immense pleasure of working with Kenny. He took his time with my transfer process, which despite being longer and more tedious than typical, did not seem to bother him at all. On the contrary, he was pleasant and sociable the entire time!Upon getting my new phone home, I found myself very disappointed in the camera (the main feature I use my phone for). I reached out to Kenny, told him my dilemma, and asked if he could order me the newest Samsung to exchange it for. Again, he was friendly and accommodating, and when the release date came, my phone was there right on time, along with a very helpful Kenny to assist me once again! I have now had my new phone for two weeks and could not be happier with the device, as well as the process by which I came to possess it. I HIGHLY recommend this Verizon store, and I HIGHLY recommend working with Kenny! I am happy to say Ive found my Verizon guy!

I had a great experience working with Spencer at Cellular Sales. I was a customer of a competing carrier for over 15+ years. My cell phone reception the last two years with the competing carrier was terrible. I visited Cellular Sales several times to obtain information about switching to Verizon. Spencer was always professional and knowledgable. I never felt pressured to switch to Verizon.Once I decided to switch to Verizon, I scheduled an appointment with Spencer to switch the five people on my plan to new Verizon phones. We all kept the same phone numbers. Spencer successfully transferred each phone with no issues. Another member of the Verizon team installed screen protectors to speed up the process.I have viewed my upcoming Verizon bill online and everything is exactly as discussed, no surprises. The Verizon coverage for Central Vermont is much better than the previous carrier. I am happy I finally took the leap.

Stopped into this location because my local store for some reason wasnt open at 10:15 am even though their hours were 10am to 5pm. Anyways, the lady that helped us was amazing. She got my phone up and running even after Verizon support on the phone couldnt. I recommend this place 5 stars. She was polite, helped with every question. Went above and beyond.

Received a call stating that I was eligible for a discount on the iPhone 12. I come into this location and they tell me I’m not actually eligible, literally stated “yeah, I think those phone calls are to get people into the store.” For some reason I still decided to buy a phone, was convinced to get an iPad as well which I had already been contemplating. He offered me color options only to explain he only had black. He also brought me out a pre-owned iPad because that’s all they had in house, yet I still paid the same price. He told me he set my phone and iPad up, not until I checkout do I realize there is a $40 activation fee for each device but also a $40 house service fee for each device which the rep told me “is the only way the reps get paid”. So basically the customer pays the reps commission because this isn’t even a legitimate Verizon dealer. I let that go, but then I got home and the iPad was not setup to my service plan and I was unable to use it. I called and asked for a refund on the service fees that I had paid and he just simply said it was no refundable but that I could come in to have it activated if I would like. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Tried to sell me a phone at OVER 400 above retail and even when considering that the only phones they had to show me were used. I was there to figure out what was wrong w my note and purchase the newest note if it was in fact the phone that was at fault. Couldnt get me an answer on what was wrong w my phone had the highest retail on any phone I have ever seen anywhere and then they ONLY had used note 20s for 400 above FULL retail. I was flabbergasted, went up to the Verizon in the mall which is where you should be going. They offered me the phone at the correct retail which was $400 cheaper and they went above and beyond in every other way. Dont waste your time w the Verizon on the BMP go to the mall and get it all!

Do not purchase a phone here. They did not properly set up my phone, which resulted in hours of wasted time once I left the store. I specifically requested to purchase insurance through them and signed the forms. They ensured me that there was nothing else I had to do regarding insurance . They never set up the insurance on their end after I left so when my phone broke, there was no record of insurance. Just buy the phone from the phone company or the phone manufacturer.

I was lucky enough to find this store open in late afternoon.Kenny set me up with a new Note 10 with a case and screen protector. Went in to upgrade and pay my phone off. The store didnt have exactly what I wanted but, spent the time to listen to what I really wanted. The salesman came back with choices comparable to what I was looking for. Ended up telling me about each one. The last phone to turn on was a phone I wasnt sure about, but after seeing it it was the one. I left feeling like I was the only person in the store. Great staff, great experience! First time in store and know where to go if I have any questions :)

We strongly recommend working with Miguel Perez at this Verizon store!! Id had a tough day with the phone, in and out of several places with no luck. Miguel took all the time we needed, patiently working through our issues until he found a resolution. He even figured out how to save us money! He was professional , easy-going, there to help. The next day we went back for help configuring our new phone and worked with Tyler Vezina , who was also terrific. Tyler was generous with his time, offered options, got right on the phone to help us sort out a difficult situation with Verizon, and again figured out how we could save even more on our plan. He was friendly, professional and helpful -- even contacted us after we left to be sure all was well. We strongly recommend working with Tyler! .

Ive been a customer there for seven years. I have been in two virtually identical situations where a phone I bought through them crashes due to a software issue (no fault of mine, the phones were in perfect condition and still under warranty). Both times I knew that I was owed a new (ie refurbished) phone at no cost to me. I went into the store each time being crystal clear that this was my expectation, and both times the salesmen 1) bent over backwards trying to convince me that I shouldnt bother trying to get it replaced and should just buy a new $500+ phone and 2) became completely unhelpful and uninterested when I reiterated that I wanted the free replacement phone. They scribbled the phone number to the warranty helpline on a post-it note and that was it. They then acted appalled when I asked to use the store phone to call the warranty number because, you know, MY PHONE DIDNT WORK.Everyone there is perfectly pleasant until the moment they realize they cant squeeze another dime out of you, at which point they become completely ambivalent to your existence as human.p.s. both times I was able to get free, refurbished phones for zero cost within two days, no thanks to the salespeople at this location.

I had a terrible experience while buying a new phone here. The sales associate signed me up for a $100+ unlimited plan although I specifically asked for the $40 plan. He also signed me up for a $20 insurance plan when I asked for the $10 plan. The first bill I received was $170+. I was furious and still am. Do not buy a phone here u will be ripped off. To add insult to injury this clown didnt even properly download my information from my previous phone. Call Verizon to purchase your phone. Never ever deal with these immoral salespeople!

Ben at the Berlin store was awesome. I brought my 83 year old mother in and he was patient and helpful. He suggested a simpler phone for her and helped organize her apps. Yesterday I visited Verizon in berlin VT spoke with a young man named t j ingibina. He was wonderful to work with helpful as all get out and very good at what he did. Instead of the usual 3 hours I was done in 1.5 and all was all. All was restored to my new phone. Thank you he is definitely a 5 star sales oerson. I have been very disappointed with the service so far. Initially we sat down with Marty. He was very helpful and we were joking etc. He mentioned we would automatically be signed up for the insurance which covers everything from dropping it in the toilet to losing it. We were also charged $46 for setting up and connecting the phone. We left being told everything was ready to go. Come to find out he ported the wrong phone number. We tried to get in touch with him but he did not answer the phone. Got in touch with him the next day and said he would work on it the following day. Good thing we went down to the store the next morning to get it worked out. Unfortunately two days later my husband dropped the phone and a car ran over it. When we went to file a claim we were told there was a $49 deductible. I know we didnt read the fine print but all Mark had to say was we were covered but there was a deductible.(How about full disclosure?) We now have a replacement phone and will be returning to the store to set it up. I will be asking to get the $46 connection charge credited to my account. If that can happen I will feel much better about the whole situation. Update.. the sales agent said he couldnt refund our $46 charge as they work on commission and we would be taking food of their plate.. REALLY??? Well I new I can do this myself online but asked anyway. The sales agent went and had a pow wow with a manager and returned to tell us what to do. My advice... dont go to this store. Purchase a phone and plan on line and get it set up for free.

I cant say enough! EVERY TIME I walk in the door, a sales rep walks up right up to me and says, How you doing? What can I do for you?. Not any pressure, just friendly and ready to help. I am finally writing a review because my experience there is consistently Very good!The last time I went in I bought a Hot Spot. The sales rep actually printed out the rebate form, filled it out for me and addressed the envelope. This is typical of the excellent service I get at this Verizon store. And No lines I have to wait in!I actually like going in and getting my goals accomplished. Bravo Berlin, Vermont Verizon store reps! Thank you.

My SIM card suddenly stopped working and I stopped into the Verizon store at 8:45 hoping for a quick fix. The store closes at 9:00 and I was expecting to be told that I would have to come back the next day. Kyle, Jacob and Drew were awesome. They all worked on getting my phone working again and when it wouldnt work they made sure that I would receive a new phone before the weekend. These guys are great and they treated me as if it was no big deal that they were working an hour after the store closed. Highly recommend this trio of great guys!

If I could rate any lower I certainly would. I was lied to numerous times by the sales man who goes by Christian. We spent close to $500 the day we switched to Verizon from AT&T. I asked if the ACTIVATION fee for our new phones was included, he said absolutely! They were absolutely NOT included. So we paid them. I asked numerous times to make sure that they were going to pay off my contract through AT&T..he kept say yes, as soon as they pull my phone number from them they would pay it off. Just got a bill from AT&T, because he never paid it off. He failed to mention to me that day that I had to trade in my old AT&T phone to get credit for my AT&T contract. He mentioned NOTHING of this when I signed up for my new services! THANKFULLY Verizon themselves are helping me out and crediting my account so I am able to financially pay off my AT&T bill. I do recommend Verizon, I DO NOT recommend this specific store to ANYONE!!

Staff accused my mother of breaking her own phone based on a scratch in the screen protector, offered to order a replacement screen shes not capable of installing. No hand sanitizer in sight, staff wearing no masks and telling customers they dont work anyway. Do NOT shop this store.

Asad as be extraordinary helpful with several, issue that Ive had in the past few months. I believe hes one of your best employee and you really should let him know that. This guy, one day spent at least 3 hours with me, unfortunately he couldnt find a solution. So I ordered me a new device, he spent a nother hour or so, but even the new device wouldnt work either. In need of a new phone and improved cellular service, and after reviewing many options online, I knew I needed some personalized help. From past experience, I was somewhat intimidated by what a Verizon, or other big company, store might try to aggressively sell me - but my experience at this location, with the excellent customer service provided by Nathan LaFountain and his trainee, Nick Briggs, could not have been better. Nathan provided exactly the information I needed, patiently answered my questions, offered only the options within my budget and interests, and acted with consummate professionalism. I left happy with my purchase and with the entire experience, which is amazing. I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed that I was moved to take the time here - with no hesitation, I give them my highest recommendation.

Darcy and Griffin are the best! My boyfriend and I came in to switch him over from another carrier to my plan with verizon.... ran into some wacky issues with service that afternoon so we went back for help. It was just about closing time but Darcy and Griffin stayed late and really went the extra mile to make sure everything got fixed for us when they couldve just told us to come back the next day etc.Thanks guys!

Outstanding service every time Ive been there! I had a deeply confusing issue with my Verizon account, and Jonathan was quick to help me in a friendly and professional manner. He went above and beyond to make sure that my issue was taken care of. Even though it was confusing, arduous, and time-consuming, he was willing to help make sure my problem was taken care of the best he could. Plus, even before the day I worked with Jonathan, Dean has helped me pick out a phone and answer all the questions I had about my upgrade. On July 14th, I went to this store to purchase a new phone. Autumn immediately greeted us at the door. I told her the battery in my phone had died and I could not get the phone to turn on. I told her I wanted to purchase a new one. I explained what I needed in a phone and Autumn knew exactly which two to show me and gave me her recommendation of her favorite. Darcy also helped us a great deal because she was able to access my old phone and retrieve all my pictures of my grandchildren and transfer them to iCloud! I am so grateful for that. She worked and worked till she was able to access. Autumn did a great job in helping me choose a phone and then showing me some great features. She gave me some simple time saving tips and made the experience very pleasant. I have had my phone for a month now and I love it. Highly recommend this store. Highly recommend these young ladies to help you.
