I was a nightmare of a fingerprinting client - I got there five minutes before closing because of my work, and what should have been a pretty quick and simple process was excruciating because my fingers are crippled by rheumatoid arthritis. The people who run this company were patient, accommodating, and professional, offering solutions and workarounds. I highly highly recommend them.

***COME HERE for your background check and finger printing needs. Was about to go to another girl who does live scan at her home, she was about to charge me $80 for the session and $30 to hold my spot. At cal live scan I paid $50 for an amazingly efficient and safe process. I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but this place really wowed me with affordability and efficiency!

Amazing! Couldnt really understand the guy at the front and he didnt give me a copy like I asked but the process to get scans for my mentorship position took literally 2mins! Berkeley City Jail recommended me to come here for my forms and they did not steer me wrong. This was after the UPS on Dwight cancelled my appointment and you dont even need an appointment at Cal LiveScan. So fast and accessible. The scans did cost $80 but the organization I did it for didnt mind and is going to reimburse me.

Super small kind of office within an office building which just has a few chairs and machine without much else.They get the job done fast and are prompt and easy to interact with. In addition I was running late and they stayed open a bit longer to help accommodate me and were very nice about the whole thing!To note its a bit expensive but thats because of the government fees - nothing they can do about that

Handy little office with no wait time. They do notarizing and Live Scan. Be advised that they are listed to charge a $25 fee on the state doj webpage, but they actually charge 30. They said they are updating that. Also, the doj or other agency has a fee on top of that. So A public records Live Scan will cost $55. Nice folks, and they are taking Coronavirus Health precautions very seriously.

The couple that runs this service is so friendly, and they seem to know what they’re doing. The older gentleman chatted with me while he was obtaining my fingerprints, and he has an interesting life story! I was a little hesitant on how fast he did my fingerprints (this is only my 2nd time ever doing them!) but I will update my review if there are any problems. Hopefully not!

The process was so quick. When doing the live scan, i was afraid that the fingerprint will not be accepted by the FBI since the computer says low quality everytime the chinese man scan my fingers. When i asked, he said it’s okay. The lady assured me it will be accepted. In 2 weeks, i got the letter that FBI rejected the Live Scan. So frustrated. I paid $$$. It is not okay!!!!

I need to get no criminal record for Canada. Canadian requires the one who did finger prints to sign. They took the $$$$ did the service and refused to sign to approve that they did the fingerprints. And of course no refund. I showed them everything needed on the paper when I walked in. They do not have the knowledge of doing Canadian service which they told me that they do. It cost me 4 hours round trip and $$$ which is wasted. Not professional and super rude.

The sweetest people run this place! I had to stop in for a LiveScan fingerprint and there was absolutely no wait. In and out in 5 minutes. If youre coming from Cal, take the 6! It drops you off right across the street.

Both husband and wife very rude. It’s my right to know everything. If I am confuse about something it’s their job to make me understand. You’re running your business so, without customers how you gonna do it. Wish I can give you zero star.

Very professional environment.

While certainly quick and efficient, the man who did my prints was a bit rude to me. I also paid about $10 more here than i did at another scan location down south. Worth it when trying to be in and out in 10 mins, but expect a rushed sort of attitude to come along with it.

An amazingly fast and cheap LiveScan! I have been through LiveScan about 8 different times for different agencies and this was by far the fastest and most economical service. Ran though a mom & pop couple. To enter the building, page from the front door. Great service!
