My experience here is always exceptional. I’d rented here previously and needed a new space for another project. I asked the manager for a locker similar to what I previously had and he was able to rent me exactly what I was looking for. The manager exhibited great customer service and was very professional. Regarding the space, the halls are clean and feels very safe and secure.

I’ve never had a storage locker and they made it really easy to set up. Constance was awesome, it was really busy but she handled it like a pro. :)

Great place for storage. Been using for more than a year, all packages stay well. Super safe and easy to check-in/out. The staff here is also super nice and chill. Would definitely recommend this place.

Constance helped me out a lot! I needed a 5 x 5 space and she showed me some different options. She found me s cheap option and never tried to upsell me. Shes patient, easy to follow and overall made my experience frictionless. I wish more customer service reps were like her, just a pleasant demeanor.

Im surprised by these reviews. Public Storage is not good - check out their Yelp reviews too before renting a space here.Their customer service is bad and the business is predatory. Their contracts are designed to rip you off if possible. In my case, I moved out on the 2nd but was charged for the entire month... no prorated costs. Theyll have that same unit filled on the 3rd but I still have to pay for it.Look elsewhere for a small business that values its customers.

My experience at Public Storage today was awesome. I was greeted by staffs when I walked in the door. Miguel was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding renting a storage unit. He made easy for me to book a storage as well gave me a promotion discount on my unit. The storage units are very clean and temperature control. I would definitely recommend Public Storage at at 620 Harrison St. Berkeley. Thank you Miguel for your excellent customer service.

Lauren is polite, professional, and lovely to talk to, if only for a moment. She also happens to know all of the answers to your questions! The place is generally clean and the staff is generally helpful. However, within a four year time, the rate has doubled.

I came to the uhaul facility at the last minute because of a recent event that caused me to have to move some things out of one place to another. I had to get a storage unit unexpectedly and want to share Noelle and Courtney at the management office were extremely helpful, professional and kind. A gentleman in office (cant recall his name) was also very patient and thoughtful in showing us the different unit sizes before we decide on the right one. Moving is stressful as it is, having this part of my move being pleasant and easy definitely made a huge difference. I would highly recommend this storage facility, its clean, air-conditioned and safe. Its right off the freeway and easy to get to.

Noelle helped our organization snag a large climate-controlled unit for a great price. We reserved a 10x20, but since none was available, she offered us a 10x30 at the same price. Since were a nonprofit, this was a huge score. She also did her best to hold the unit as long as possible for us and was very professional and kind. Checkin was fairly easy, and the unit seems very clean and secure, so Ill be glad to move our stuff in soon. Also, this storage facility is very near the Berkeley Shreds and Berkeley Recycling, which is handy proximity, in case youre looking to store but also eventually downsize! :)

Check in at this location was seamless! Noelle who helped assist me with my unit was both friendly and efficient. Units are as advertised and facilities are clean. Also priced generously for the Bay Area.

The elevator has been out of service for over a month, so if you have to move things in or out you must use the stairs. They have said they do not know when the elevator will be working again.

I was looking for a storage unit near Berkeley in a timely matter. The Storage facility is kept very well and maintained in great shape. Noelle was polite, professional & knowledgeable, and very graciously assisted me with understanding details that were critical to me about dimensions, access, security, etc. She listened patiently to my many questions, and ultimately was able to provide exactly what I needed!Thankfully, the prevailing winds seem consistently from the bay, so the aromas from the Berkeley Transfer Station (Dump) across the street to the east are tolerable. The outdoor units are not rodent-proof, hence the necessary rule NO FOOD or spices! I wont stay long! :)

The ONLY elevator at this place is OUT OF SERVICE for weeks and they dont even care. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. The customer service SUCKS. The onsite manager is completely USELESS.

Ive always been happy with the unit that Ive had for over 20 years. I went in to rent a second unit and when I casually mentioned that the rent on my first unit was already more than my mortgage, Noelle, the employee behind the counter, said that she could probably help me with that. A few hours later, she called to let me know that my rent would be reduced by $308! Way to go, Noelle!

They sold me as elevator access to the top floor and when I got there they were stairs. Had i known, I couldve brought help. As it was, I had a major unforeseen workout.

COVID Times review: Mina was awesome from the start - I mistakenly got caught in the traffic line waiting to do off at the dump. I called the Public Storage store and she gave me great advice for how to get around that. Once I got to the store for my appointment to set up my storage and account, I was helped by Mina who was great! She was friendly, explained everything well, have me details I wouldnt have known to ask, and answered any questions I had. She was knowledgeable about the location and was a great resource for me as this is my first storage rental. She also took extra time to check in with me about any packing/moving supplies I might need, which I appreciated. I didnt get her co-workers name, but she was also super nice and even went out of her way to get a picture box I wanted to purchase that they had in another part of the facility.

The lovely ladies at public storage in Berkeley couldnt have been more helpful and attentive to my needs today. Must mention and thank Francine, Tamika, and Courtney for being helpful, candid, and fun to work with. Would highly recommend this location to anyone who has current or future storage needs. This property is very clean and has a very professional staff!

I came into this storage facility with a bunch of questions at lunchtime, obviously interrupting their lunch. They answered all of my questions and were very patient and these guys were really cool. Their name were Lamont and Kevin and I even jokingly referenced Lamont and Tinelli’s 107.7 to describe the pair and we all laughed!!! They have a great sense of humor!

He was friendly, courteous, and very pleasant to chat with! The storage facility overall is clean, well-lit, functional, and very secure. And -- since it had been a long drive and that coffee was catching up with me, I can also report the restroom was clean-smelling and spotless!
