Simply the best! Adriana and the rest of the people that work there are extremely nice and super helpful. They even helped me move all my stuff to my hotel and Adriana offered me some pizza which she had for lunch. Even just communicating with them over the email — Adriana and Neza were super quick with responding and very very nice! Definitely recommend this place! 💯💯 The BEST!

This is the best storage place Ive ever used! It is incredibly clean and the staff is kind and friendly, Prices are reasonable given the convenient location. Their hours are a little shorter than some places (which honestly makes the whole place feel safer) so make sure that works with your schedule before you rent. This is my 3rd time needing to rent a storage unit (for work) over the past 10 years and I just keep coming back to Berkeley Self Storage because it is so great.

They are so nice here. I went on two separate occasions just to buy moving boxes, tape, mattress cover, etc. They offered to help bring stuff to my car and were just overall so nice.

Family run business; they get to know their customers and hire their staff well with quality business relationships in mind. The site is well managed and clean. One can never know everything, but I I believe security to be a bit above average - the owners do take care of business. Im posting this in the time of COVID, when hours are a bit shorter than normal but on the other hand the open-air nature of unit access is a protective plus. The second floor aisles are a thick but open mesh - carts get bumpy and they might still have the signs warning that no high heels are allowed up there. I never thought Id ever warm up to that construction detail, but it makes for even more air circulation so its another big plus for me now. Prices tend toward the reasonable side. This is one of my top preferred places to rent.

Highly recommend it. I was inclined to rent from Berkeley Self Storage because its family owned but upon visiting - I liked the staff, the location, the pricing (competitive with others in the area) and the cleanliness. The access hours are also great.

I have been using Berkeley Self Storage for about 15 years. I like that is a family run business, not a chain, Adriana and the rest of the staff are a pleasure to deal with. They are constantly doing maintenance to keep the place in good shape. Im happy here, obviously.

To. High. Prices.

Simply nothing to say. The storage locker I have is technically the right square footage but it has a very steeply sloped ceiling with lots of pipes hanging from it, so I have much less space to store my property than if it was the normal cube shaped room they advertised. But you can bet the price I pay is the same as for the cube shaped room. Add to that the fact that I constantly get late payment notifications and have to call in to get them removed, even though I have had automatic payments set up since day 1, and I really wish I’d picked another location to store my property.

Holy cow. Adrianna and the team at Berkeley Self Storage absolutely knocked my socks off with their customer service. I dont think Ive ever been so impressed and grateful. If I could, I would give them ONE MILLION STARS!I was in the middle of a move across two states when the carefully laid plans went up in smoke and I had to move 6 days earlier than planned. So the storage unit was one of the last things on my plate as I was driving a uhaul down the 5 freeway.Adrianna could tell I was in dire straights, and leapt into action to help me pick up the slack. We got everything done electronically over email during my breaks from driving, and as traffic extended the trip she pivoted to let me move into my new storage unit after normal hours. I didnt need to beg or butter her up or promise to pay a premium - and she volunteered a staff member to be there to ensure success. I wouldnt be surprised if she paid that employee overtime to ensure my needs were met. The team here just wanted my business and were total professionals in earning it. I look forward to spending my money here and encourage anyone with storage needs in Berkeley to start here first!ONE MILLION STARS!

No lights in the units. Great staff

Might as well be a deposit box because once you put your stuff in you can never get it out. Worst hours ever.Anyone with a 9-5 and an hour long commute cant access this place on weekdays (open from 7am-7pm).
