I highly recommend Applied Forestry. Its a small operation, consisting of a young couple and their employees. Sarah, who is quite experienced and expert in trees, came to our house and carefully discussed each tree with us. She listened to our goals, made recommendations, and gave us a quote. Sam and Nick did an excellent job of tree trimming. During the job, Sarah stopped by to make sure she and Sam had coordinated well on what was to be done. After trimming, the trees look quite natural--they dont look like they just got a buzz-cut. They also installed a cable between two large branches of a locust tree to prevent it from splitting and prolong its life. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. We were very happy with their work.

I couldn’t be more pleased. Last fall I had two large trees removed and today I had the stumps chipped.The crews could not have been more pleasant, professional and on time. Sam and Sara came to our 2.5 acre property for a free consultation to discuss removing some trees that were too close to our deck and possibly pruning some other trees for better views. They were both so knowledgeable, professional, friendly and great at answering all of our questions and explaining everything so that we could make informed decisions. On the day of the job, Sam and his worker arrived on time and worked with care, asking us for our input as they removed and shaped trees throughout our property. Sam finished in the early afternoon and they cleaned up so well there was no sign of debris from the removal of several trees and trimming of many others. The best part is how the property looked at the end-Beautiful!! We have magnificent views that were blocked before Sam and his crew came. More open vistas, cleaner and more open space throughout the property- we are super happy with the result and highly recommend Sam and Sara at Applied Forestry!! We will have them back when we are ready to do more tree work.

Sam and Sara are a well coordinated and highly competent team. They are also very personable and it was a pleasure to have them working on our property. We hope to have them back to work on another project soon.

I was very happy with Sams service. I had a fruit tree that broke. I called on a Saturday morning, Sam was already in the neighborhood, came over in about an hour and had it cleaned up and gone in less than an hour. Very reasonable price for the job. Already have plans for him to do more work for me. Top Job.

We recently used Applied Forestry for several trees on our property in Black Butte Ranch that needed to be either cut down or limbed and cleaned up. Applied Forestry really knows what they are doing! They are professional, safe and reasonably priced. They are easy to communicate with and are very dependable. We plan on using them again in the future and would recommend them hands down!

Sam and Sara did a great job removing three trees and trimming average maple. They were a pleasure to deal with and left without a trace - great clean-up.
