Called MVI regarding a problem I had with my side by side as the dealer date for servicing it was 6 (YES SIX) weeks out! Called MVI and Cameron said bring it in ASAP and well jump right on it. Didnt have the fix it part yet so had to wait a couple of days for that to arrive. Part arrived on a Tuesday and I got it to MVI that afternoon and Johnathan called me Wednesday AM to say come and pick her up! WOW, talk about impressed. And then I got the bill and said you guys gotta advertise as I was expecting to pay LOTS more. Cant say enough about these brothers!! Well done - THANKS!!

Hugh, and now both his sons have been our mechanics since my son had his first Audi. They now take care of both of our BMWs (oldest and newest) with the utmost care, while doing their best to keep costs down. Always fair honest and contentious.

I was so happy to find these guys after being put through the ringer by one of the other import mechanics in town (GMT). They are straightforward about pricing (their estimates tend to be more than the other place, but final cost actually ends up being less), they are knowledgeable, and they prepare you for how long it will take. Always felt like I could trust them, which is more than I can say for the other place. If you have an import (mine was a Mini Cooper), they are the best in town for everything from oil changes to the big fixes. Can’t thank you guys enough.

Very impressed with Mountain View Imports. Recently experienced a bad coolant leak. Called MVI and they were very kind to take an emergency appointment, assess required work and perform repairs on the same day. Professional, responsive, quality work and competitive pricing. We have been going to Mountain View for one or both of our vehicles since we moved to Bend in 2005. They are terrific. Far more responsive than the local RAM dealership (in our opinion), and also extremely competent. This is a family business, handed from father (just retired) to son, so we are hoping they will be serving our community for years to come!

Wasted 2 days of my time. Told me both times my car was running fine and within spec after they fixed it. Took me 5 seconds each time to scan the car and find out it wasnt within spec, something they apparently dont know how to do.

Excellent crew of mechanics and Christian, in the office expains repairs in a clear way to help one understand. They were able to help us break up some needed repairs over a few months to be a little easier on our budget. My car had been misdiagnosed at the Volvo dealer so we had some catching up to do. Overall great shop and stellar experience. Had a big project involving swapping subframes, steering, brakes, and other suspension components onto a BMW E36. Christian was good about keeping in contact with me, answering my (many) questions, and giving me a heads-up when there was an unexpected issue (IE worn bushings that needed replacement). You can tell these guys really care about what they do. Just wished they opened on weekends

Took my girlfriends VW Passat here about a month ago because she was smelling fuel while driving. I figured it was a fuel leak on the fuel rail or near an injector. The shop said they would check it out and do necessary repairs to fix it. Got the quote back about a week later to find nearly $400 in uneccesary service (ie. Complimentary oil change, fluid services, etc.). I had changed the oil 2 weeks before so I know for a fact that the dirty oil was not actually bad oil. With this, the service report had the diagnostic scan reports on them which indicated misfire (which I could then tell the fuel leak was at an injector since I became an ASE Certified Mechanic back in high school). However, the unprofessional mechanic working on her car assumed there was no fuel leak, even though we had told the desk about the possible leak, and just changed 2 slightly worn spark plugs. After this $650 service, the car still leaked fuel possibly worse than before. After this, I took the car down to the local Volkswagen dealership to have them diagnose the problem. Their mechanics confirmed what I believed and the report called for replacing all the fuel injector seals. Took it back to Mountain View Imports to tell them that they hadnt fixed the problem and I wanted my car fixed. Asked for replacement of injector seals and no complimentary services. They replaced the seals and handed me a $200 bill. Didnt even offer to make up for their previous mistake. Claimed it was a miscommunication. I will never take any of my cars here again and will advise others against it too. Much dissatisfied.

They had some very friendly staff and I like their reward program! We are new to Bend and needed to find someone to service our BMW. They took time to explain what other things needed to be done but did not pressure me.

Been coming here for five years Jonathan and all of the mechanics have been wonderful. Never feel like I’m being raked over the coals, they always explain what is going to keep my vehicles running great.

I am a single woman and I appreciate that the guys at this shop dont talk down to me as if Im an idiot that knows nothing about cars. They dont talk down to me and they dont mind explaining things if I do have questions. They are patient if I need to think about things for a few days before deciding on my course of action. They also offer good services for less than the Toyota dealerships.

RIP OFF WARNING!I needed an oil change and dropped my car by. They charged me $172 for AN OIL CHANGE!!!!!!!They charged me 26.34 for an oil filter that the dealership MSRP is $15.75. They charged me $84 for synthetic oil.They charged $5.18 for a courtesy inspection. If it is a courtesy that means its free, if it is a charge that wasnt asked for that means its an unauthorized charge!The courtesy inspection said my serpentine belt was cracked and so were the upper control arm bushings. I had them replaced with TRWs 2 years ago. They also said a transmission flush and filter were need, but that was done less than 4000 miles ago.When I talked to them they said there was a markup on the parts and oil that they charge clients, but that it was my fault for dropping it off and not asking for a price quote before the work was done. What a load of unethical scam artists.

These guys were great. I was visiting Bend when the check engine light in my Volvo V70 wagon came on. I needed someone to take a look at it as soon as possible and despite a full schedule the guys from Mountain View were able to take a look at it and resolve the problem. The price they quoted was the price they charged me.

These guys did some fantastic service on my vehicle. They were very kind and friendly, and let me know that there are some other minor issues w/my car after they fixed the big problem with my locking system, and I am definitely going back to them to get those other issues taken care of.

When I bought my used Mercedes 430 ML from a dealership that bought it from a Snowbird, I paid a couple of hundred dollars to check it out before the purchase. They missed that it needed an emergency brake cable. After finding that fact shortly thereafter, I brought it back. Inquired about the same. They told me it would cost me over $100 to install one. Did NOT honor their their before beforebuy inspection. Went back again after googling about the event. They gave me a higher quote! Needless to say, I didnt do or wont do business with them. Ironically, my brother bought a beater to bring to rough roads at his project in Prineville at FB. I had to pick him up after this car failed and broke down on the Powell Butte Hwy last month. Sheesh!!!

Based on the excellent service we have received from Mountain View Imports for my wifes cars (Volvo and Toyota RAV4), I am excited that Mount View Import now also accepts US models, and I will definitely have them also service my Surburban in future.
