We had a surprise issue with our pickup while driving North on Highway 71, hours from home. Luckily we were near Dick’s Northside. They helped us out right away and were able to diagnose the issue and get us back on the road ASAP! We really appreciate their friendly professionalism and would highly recommend them to anyone!

The people were friendly and accommodating. They fit us in the same day to check out a used car we were thinking of buying. They showed us and explained their findings and charged very little for the service. I highly recommend this business for their automotive needs.

Mark is super nice and helpful. Whenever I think something is wrong with my vehicle and there isnt he tells me there isnt a problem and doesnt charge me for looking. Sometimes if you pay with cash he will give you a discount. Great people. They try to help as much as they possibly can and they charge a fair price.

Attempted to make an appointment to have my ac looked at and was told they couldn’t help me because I couldn’t drop my car off and leave it there for a day. I was attempting to make an appointment and at least get a diagnosis and quote because agreeing to leave my only vehicle there all day. At no point was it offered to potentially look into another day or time it was just simply cannot help you bye. That is ridiculously unprofessional. Guess I dodged a bullet going here.Update response: I asked about a date if you had any openings. I wasn’t even given the chance to ask about another possible date or even offered the opportunity to look at potential other dates. All I got was a sorry can’t help you bye. Short and cut off. That doesn’t speak highly to the professionalism of this establishment to be rushed off the phone and not even offered or given the option to inquire about other possible dates. If you schedule a week or so out seems odd no one would have said that over the phone or asked if there was another possible date to look into don’t you agree?

I had my traverse in two Fridays ago. We had engine lights and warnings of reduced power. When we stopped at a traffic light in Bemidji, it wouldnt go over 15 MPH. We were visiting for the weekend and had driven all the way from central Iowa. It was suggested by my father in law to call Mark here. I told him my story and he got me in right away. They were able to diagnose the throttle assembly as the issue. They did what they could but couldnt get to actually replacing it until the next Wednesday, which didnt work for our schedule. Luckily it was working after they had a look at it and we could hopefully get home on it. Unfortunately the problem came up again on the way home when we were just north of Brainerd. Thank you Mark for doing what you could on short notice and diagnosing. It helped when we had to stop in Brainerd to get it replaced.

My daughter is going to collage in Bemidji. She has been having a issue with a no crank on start for a week or so. After needing to jump start the car five or six times I found a phone number for Dicks. I talked to Chris he said to have her drop it off and he would look at it. Chris was able to find the problem and take care of it for the most reasonable price Ive ever heard of. I live 250 mile away and its really nice to have someone we can trust to help her out if she needs it. Thanks Chris!

I had gone to Dicks for the five years that I lived in Bemidji, and never went anywhere else. Mark, Chris, and the crew are honest, very friendly, and always dealt with me fairly. My car was always in good hands here, and I cannot say enough about the level of service. Highly recommended!

Asked to get 4 rusted bolts drilled out & had the new hardware, charged me $406 because it was “hard to do.” Over priced and the took 4 hours longer than they said it should’ve taken.

Mark & Chris have always treated me right. They charge fairly and most important, they fix things correctly the first time.

Great staff, very reliable

VERY disappointed in their service, or lack thereof, as they refused to install a headlight that I purchased elsewhere, citing markup or some such as a big part of their revenue stream, words to that effect. I figured to pay for the labor, but they werent even making that while sitting on a stool and not installing the headlight. So if I get cited for not having a working headlight, its not for lack of trying. Really just stunned that I got no help with a safety issue.
