I had a picture on my phone of a coupon for the oil change and tire rotation that was in the paper, they asked me to if I could print it out, really? I was not going to argue over a lousy $10.00, next time you put an ad in the paper, make sure you state, must bring coupon. Probably due to lack of hiring, havent had my vehicle serviced and able to get washed due to lack of people I guess. The craftsmanship was top, not complaining about the work. Not happy with the rest.

We were very pleased with our saleswoman Shilah who was very knowledgeable and informative AND friendly! We also appreciated the Business Manager Daniel who was easy to talk to and fun to visit with as well....an enjoyable day for us!!

Bought a vehicle from them a few years back. Rear drive shaft went out after about a month and refused to offer any assistance in getting the vehicle back to the dealership. Offered me a free inspection if I was able to get the vehicle back to them on my dime since I was over the 30 day mark by 1 day.

I recommend Chris all the way! (Including the manager, which I dont remember his name) I came in to purchase a truck without financing. He was respectful, honest & professional. Im sure I was one of the most difficult clients they have had. He helped me with inspecting the vehicle because ii dont know much about trucks. We had HELL trying to get the money off of my bank. They wouldnt raise the daily limit & out of state bank. I spent a whole day there with my two kids running around trying to figure out how to get the money. He was patient & helped with my kids. The rest of the dealership crew was also patient with my kids. The following days they just ran my card for the max amount until we had the amount we needed for the truck. Chris kept in touch the whole time, called me with ideas, he was just great. I couldnt of done with without a patient & respectful salesman.

Oil change with high grade oil, top off the other fluids and rotate the tires by friendly, courteous staff for forty bucks. Best deal in town. We dont take our vehicles anywhere else.

The dealership was not open at the hour we were cruising their lot but when we called the next day, Justin Motherway answered the phone and walked us through the process of buying our new car. Very helpful, courteous, and professional from beginning to end. Great experience!

Shilagh was a great salesperson, she provided an excellent overview of the vehicle and was very knowledgeable. My experience with the financial department wasn’t so great. They gave me decent trade-in value for my current vehicle but the gentleman had issues logging onto his iPad and missed adding my tabs so I had to return and pay for them. Upon return, the staff knew nothing about me owing money for my tabs so they created a sales receipt and commented that they had missed it and the tabs were already in the mail. $60k for the vehicle, something tells me that Dondelinger could’ve compensated for my tabs due to their mistake. I hope this doesn’t happen on regular basis and they capture all costs when a deal is made.

We had taken our car in and they had to order the part, when the part came in we made an appointment to get it install. They then said they did not have time to wash the car because they had to work us in to get it fixed. They had made the appointment.

Service manager did a good job informing me of the costs prior to finishing the repairs and were done in the time frame promised.

Tim did a great job scheduling my drop off and pick up times, explained in detail what was going on and very accurately quoted my labor price ! Joe the diesel mechanic was super motivated and got the job done super quickly for the large scope of the project! I was overall very impressed with my experience and from here on out will be using Dondelinger for all of my service needs !

We were able to get a quick appointment, the vehicle was done when promised, and the charges were very reasonable.

Went in to have a NOX Sensor put into my car, sat there for an hour and fourthy-five minutes just to be told why my check engine light was on(NOX Sensor)... So basically I paid $103 for a car wash. Not happy. Every time I go to Dondelinger their reputation goes further and further down the drain. Won’t be going there anymore.

They got me in right away. Took some time to get the part in but they did provide a nice loaner vehicle.

I’m here to say that the service department is awesome! When I called, they got me in fast and the service guy was SO nice. They got my car done fast and even washed it and made it look new. I was so happy I just want to give a two thumbs up to the service guy. You do not find nice caring help around like that anymore these days. Great service and waiting room

My diesel 3500 Silverado has a diesel exhaust fluid problem. I called yesterday and the service department took the vehicle in yesterday also. This may take some time to figure out and possible parts to order, but they can get going sooner now. I was very happy to get a ride back to my house very quickly. So far, impressed. I will be retiring here in a year so this is my introduction to Dondelinger GM.On Saturday I realized I left my workout shoes in the vehicle. Service department was closed for the afternoon, but Jason K. helped me retrieve the shoes. Very helpful, thanks.

We bought a used 2013 ford focus last yr from Dondelinger chevy in Bemidji. This was a mistake. The cars transmission went out a week later. I noticed the front headlamp wasnt working the lady that sold the car to us said they would fix it. We bought a warranty so these repairs could be made. Now they are saying the headlamp assembly is not under service agreement. I took the car in last week three times and kept having to bring it in. They wont pay for the defected headlamp assembly.no I do not ever and will never purchase a new or used vehicle from this place. May have well just bought a clunker off of craigslist and had less problems.

Got a oil change on my 2500 chevy. of only 37.00$ plus they hand washed my big red truck.very helpful that is why i keep comming bakc.

Brought my vehicle in for recalls and got it back full of scratches from front to back and was told it was from normal wear and tear even though it’s never had a brush on it since the day I drove it off the lot less than a year ago. Service never asked if I wanted it washed and no where do they state that it is washed with every service otherwise I wouldn’t have had them touch it. The scratches are light and it will buff out, but their blatant disregard to my concerns and my complaints and the way they went about the situation will make it so I will never go back and will gladly drive to Grand Rapids for all my future dealer needs. Would not recommend.

My sister had an excellent experience with Tim Anderson at this dealership. She called in distress about her Cadillac. Tim told her to stop by and he would check her car. Although they were busy, he got her in right away. His patience and kindness saved my sister and her car. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with these guys. I went in to ask about used cars and they just sorta waved over to the corner of the lot and said “They are over there somewhere.” When I looked at them and asked for a test drive I got a sort of “Stop wasting our time and either buy a new car or get out.” attitude.Came back a couple years later and wanted to test drive a newer car and I still didn’t get good service. Walked around the showroom for about 45 minutes waiting for a salesman to have a spare moment to talk to me about a car. That didn’t happen either so I just walked out.

Don’t get a vehicle here. Once there is a recall , there is no follow up. 2017 gmc recall on plug in for tank heater is recalled. Called months ago for replacement. This is northern Minnesota, no call call back. Extremely disappointed with this service department. They say do not plug in, due to truck burning up. This is a fricken plug. Find a different dealer. Run from here.

Went well but after tire rotation a tire is apparently out of balance. Now have to go back for a tire balance.

My Tahoe battery was going dead, and there was also a dash light coming on that shouldnt have. They found the problems and, considering that they spent a good amount of time running tests to make sure all the issues were resolved, the bill was very reasonable. This was a good experience.

Smooth easy transaction

Service department is slow and over priced.I took my truck in for service work I had a schedule for. And they did not get to it. Said they had to many walk ins to do.I called another dealership and got right in .And got a oil change for 39.00. it is 60 something at dondlinger. The other dealership now has all my business and I will be going there for my next New vehicle.

I had to bring in my car to replace the front bumper. The guys in the shop were exceptionally helpful, informative, and efficient. They even gave me a ride home when I told them Id have to bike in the 85 degree heat! They got me a quote in a timely manner, then gave me a realistic (and quick) timeframe to expect my car to be finished. It was a job well done and wonderful service. I will be going to them with all of my auto needs from now on.

Would have rated higher, but I didnt get it back with 100% of the problems corrected; Though I am sure this is a isolated incident for multiple problems existing at one time on a 2017 is rare.On top of having the shackles replaced on rear springs in Grand Forks, I am starting to think the Chevy plant was obviously having a lot of issues that didnt get paid attention to on this particular shift building my truck.

I bought a 2018 GMC Acadia from them and the Sales process was great! But when I go into the service department they treat me like Im ruining the day by coming in. I start by telling them whats going on and get rudely interrupted by them either answering the phone or paging someone else to come to talk to me and once they hang up the phone its like Im dead to the world until the other co-worker comes and helps me. I just dont feel like your getting appreciated for your business in the service department.

Outstanding service experience. Scheduled a previously diagnosed and lengthy repair and when two very important unrelated problems were discovered, they were solved in nearly the same time span. In the interim I was treated well as always and as a result was able to utilize my morning doing essential errands rather than keeping a waiting room seat warm.

I had made an appointment in advance for an oil change that was scheduled as an hour. I was at the dealership for almost 2 hours waiting because the dealership did not have the appropriate items to complete the oil change.

I have never had a positive experience at this place I have been promised good deals on cars good deals on other aspects such as repairs to my vehicles but I always seem to find hidden charges or hidden obstacles that I cannot get around to be able to afford any of the cars even used that this place offers

Your guys do a poor job of washing a vehicle, and they dont vacumm it out, but the other service is very good.

Excellent, immediate service. I kind of got lost in The Fray during lunch but the service manager made sure my car was finished and I was back on the road. What was supposed to be 1 hour actually was closer to 2 hours. But, there was an issue with one of my tires which they immediately addressed. I will definitely do all of my truck servicing at Dondelingers of Bemidji!

Service is good other then the grease they tracked in to my vehicle and didnt clean out.

My husband was leasing a vehicle from Dondelinger GM in Bemidji. After he deployed overseas my husband asked me to return the truck and end the lease early. I called a day before and spoke to a woman in financing to let them know Id be ending the lease, that I had all the documentation to do so and that Id be coming in the next morning. The phone call with this woman was the ONLY polite encounter I had in returning my husbands lease. The next morning when I walked in I was expecting a greeting of some sort but instead I was met with grumpy unhappy sales associates. The man that I dealt with to end the lease was also less than happy about the ordeal. He barely exchanged 2 full sentences with me. I let them know where we parked it in their parking lot and said goodbye. A week passes and my sister-in-law (she has my husbands old number) starts receiving phone calls from Dondelinger in Bemidji. They were looking for my husband and said that his truck has been sitting there too long and they would charge him for the tow. Excuse me?! What kind of car dealership is this? They dont even know theyd be towing their own vehicle?! Thats when I let my father-in-law deal with them and all of a sudden theyre apologizing up and down about the entire process. If this is how Dondelinger runs their dealership I cant imagine them having a lot of business and theyve certainly lost ours.

We were on our way back to St Louis from Baudette. Truck started giving us problems. We called spoke with Paul. He knew exactly what the problem was. By the time we pulled into the lot 15 mins or so later he was waiting on us, had the part, pulled the truck right in, and had it fixed in less than 1.5 hours!! I have used Donelinger GM twice while in Bemidji this summer. First I needed a new electronic key for my car. They got my information and ordered if for me then programmed it. I also needed shocks and struts for my car which they did for me, getting me in and out quickly and under estimate. They have a clean and comfortable waiting area. I will use them again when in Bemidji.
