Last week my wife and I signed up for the black card. We are extremely happy with this location.We aren’t ecstatic tho …They currently and for the past couple months haven’t had a Trainer available for members.I hope this changes very soon.The location is calm, clean…The employees are very nice and attentive to their duties and members.Would be 5 stars if I wasn’t paying for something I’m not getting at the moment.

Great staff, super clean not too busy. Love the black card bc its cheap for the month but also allows you to bring one person every time u go, unlimited tanning, comfy massage chairs and hydro beds. These are all the things you get on the black card. You also can get free fitness training on certain days and times of course.

This afternoon, (06/25/21) my girlfriend and I signed up memberships for both of us.We walked into the Belvidere, IL location and were assisted by the associate working the front desk. His name tag said Ryan. Being a business owner myself, customer service and knowledge are major factors when interacting with patrons and the public. This gentleman was extremely helpful and very professional. We look forward to tomorrow, our 1st workout sessions, and many more to come. Thank you PF for staff as courteous as Ryan is!!!

I had just got my membership back last month after canceling due to the covid shut downs. Today I walk and and they are demanding you wear a mask. To work out. Suggestion: have people show their vaccination cards and let them go in about their business. Time to stop punishing everyone for the irresponsible actions of others! Will probably cancel again if this isn’t fixed really soon. Garbage.

Id give it a better review if theyd be open 24/7 EVERYDAY like they are supposed to be instead of restricting me being able to work out in the morning before work. Otherwise not too bad.

Staff are awesome! Bonnie the manager is the best! Gym is very clean and safe! Thank you for keeping the members safe...but now Bonnie is no longer working there members miss her a lot! what a great leader she is! everybody miss her friendly welcome to every members! we miss her and her staff a non stop cleaning of the club! thank you Bonnie for caring for us members!

UPDATEDVery nice gym. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of equipment to meet all my workout needs. Best of all...the top membership plan is roughly $25 a month. Gives you access to all amenities, and other training benefits. Highly recommend this club for your fitness needs.They have a nice guest feature with black membership, so you can bring friends to workout. I am able to bring my buddy, who has powerlifting background to guide and teach me. They do offer trainers to help you, but I prefer mine as he fits my needs better.

They are a super clean gym and have the essentials. Their membership is perfect because I travel a lot and they have locations everywhere. This particular location however is extremely overboard with the face mask policy. In other locations and gyms that I go to, they don’t require you to wear one while working out.

Love this club. Great atmosphere. Eva is a fabulous trainer, she took time to explain and demonstrate the machines for me even though she was quite busy.Very clean and well maintained club.

I really wish you would open back up to 24hours Monday thru Saturday other than that the Belvidere Planet Fitness is a very nice place

Still wearing masks, and being formally asked to, by miniscule power weilding staff members in an establishment where people are CLEARLY healthy enough to WORK OUT! Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Do yourselves a favor and sign up at ANY other of the REAL gyms in town,who DO NOT require face diapers. Im 100% sure this location will soon close down due to the staff and the confrontational power trip behavior they convey to the members. I will for one,will be ACTIVELY trying to get this location shut down, and ALL the employees terminated.

The Belvidere location is the best!! The associates are so help full and super friendly. The gym is always clean and safe

Just started going there seems nice but unfortunately they had to shorten their hours due to staffing issues.

Clean, good customer service, good size gym. Looks smaller from the outside. Overall clean gym. Doesnt have that body odor smell like other gyms do.

I love the tanning and massage beds but I feel like the tanning beds arent as strong as tanning salons. I think they do a great job though and for the money you cant beat it. The staff is super friendly. I think it was worth the wait.

I personally will not return here. I would go with my older sister here and when I first started going they had my mom sign a waiver since I am underage. Her signing the waiver allowed me to go with my sister. I went in one day and one of the staff said I had to leave because I am underage but the whole point of my mom signing that waiver was so that I could go in without a guardian. I had never had problems until that day which is why I will not be going again.

Nice gym. Not sure what’s going on with the hours now not open til 6am, would be nice if it was open early mon-fri

I like the gym, just a shame it isnt 24 hours every day of the week.

Very nice club. Much nicer than the $123 I pay a month for my sons tennis club. $23 a month and tanning and massage is included at Planet Fitness! Thats a no brainer. Always clean. The only thing I dont like is the tanning and massage check in. You check in on the computer but then you have to ask the staff what room?

I’m a big fan. I was so excited when i found out Planet Fitness was coming to our town. Well they’ve been here a few months and my excitement isn’t any less. I love the place and go almost every day. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is enough equipment that you don’t ever have to wait. And the price is so affordable almost anyone can afford to go.

The staff is friendly, I love the fact that they are so cheap. For access to equipment,tanning beds and massage chairs. They are also located so close to me so its so convenient. Im so glad that they opened a planet fitness in Belvidere.

Awesome gym love all the machines great way to hit certain parts of your body. Only been their one day I love it. Good prices to highly recommended!!

Planet fitness is a great place always so tidy and clean, The employees are always cleaning checking the cleaning stations have all the supplies for the members, always very knowledgeable and polite respectful and proffessional, I highly recommend it, the relaxing room is very clean, all members must walk in with a mask and follow all protocols. I personally love this place, The showers and changing rooms are amazing,

Great facility for all fitness levels Great price as well. I personally like more free weights but this can still get the job done.

Pretty annoyed at coronavirus and their changes. Been trying to drive out to belvidere as rockfords are only open to 9pm and belvidere 24 7 i was told and confirmed on the phone. Then today i find out fridays its 10pm then weekends for both towns is like 7pm. What in the actual h*ll?!? Can we please just push it to midnight like everyday at least? Also its easier to clean and theres less people in there to contaminate the place or worry about when you go at night. And some of us dont have other times to go.Lastly, the mask thing is a joke. Lets just sign a waiver instead. I mean you wear and take off constantly. Whats the point of it? Youre working out with heavy breathing and sweat. This is the one place, (if it will stay open) that you shouldnt need it imo. Otherwise its a decent location.

I always wanted a planet fitness in belvidere and so excited we finally got one. I joined and think the club is totally comfortable,clean,and the staff is amazing! I enjoy my time when Im there! :)

Finally a large fitness center in Belvidere. Goodbye naked old men at the YMCA and have to wait your turn Anytime fitness. Large enough locker room with nice private showers. Although it can get packed there is still plenty of room and machines to use. Dont come here if you are into heavy weight lifting, grunting, and weight slamming it will not be for you. Now all Belvidere needs in a nice brewery and I wont have to go to Rockford!

The Planet Fitness in Belvidere, just opened. It is awesome. The place is amazing. So much happening. The fitness instructors are great, especially Nick. He was excellent showing us around, explaining everything to us, and bery personable. Going to love working out here
