Everyone at Grease Monkey were very knowledgeable, polite, and extremely accommodating with finding out the problem, fixing it, and testing the car afterwards to ensure everything was running smoothly and in working order. They will also give you a lift home if you need it and pick you up to get your car after its been repaired. Very professional and trustworthy employees.

My daughter came in the other day for an oil change. They brought to her attention some broken piece underneath the car, on the quote they called it a stabilizer link. She told me they showed her an animation of what this stabilizer link does. They were very informative and did not pressure her into doing anything, just went over the recommendations on this sheet that my daughter got, so now we know what to do at certain mileage! The guys here were very polite, professional and honest. They told me That my engine air filter was still good and they showed me my cabin filter that I never knew existed!. They also informed me that they do free oil changes for veterans on Veterans Day!!!! Needless to say I would recommend these guys to all my friends and family. Thanks again guys!.

Dont bother. Was asked if I wanted air filter changed. Said no. Got charged for it anyway. Put the wrong sticker in my windshield was given a new one to put in myself. Whatever. Kid tried pulling my truck out of the garage and ran over a stool luckily causing no damage. I mean cmon.

Stopped by today to speak with the manager Joe to get a quote for service and was informed he left due to a wage dispute. Im highly upset as Joe really knew his stuff and I took my vehicles there for pretty much everything. I have given this location a lot of business but now I may end up having find a new shop that I like. The majority of the guys working there are good guys but Joe was definitely the best. A truly honest technician is hard to find. This location lost the best thing they had. Joe was an excellent technician and manager.

It was a pretty standard oil change but I dont recommend letting them change your air filter it is way overpriced about $25. When asked if I would like it replaced I said I would wait but then was told I would get a $7 coupon discount which should have been added because it was a coupon for an oil change, all together it was about $96.

I was very impressed with the service. The staff was professional. 10 mins after I checked in an employee was in asking if I wanted additional services such as air filter changed out and to inform of manufacturer suggested service points. I came in for an oil and filter change and was on my way home in 30 mins. The only complaint I have is cost. It was pretty expensive and when asked if they would match competitors discounts they would not.

I was in a hurry to get to a hair appointment. The guys got me in and out in 7 minuets. Definitely record time! They were so kind. Reasonable prices with coupon. Highly recommend this place!

$60 for a high mileage oil change but I got right in. I went to Walmart and it was going to be a 2 hour wait to do 4 cars. I feel they do a better job as well. Ill be going back.

I absolutely love there work here this is the only Grease Monkey 🐒 I will go to and I don’t even live in Belvidere. That’s how good there service is here. They tell what else is wrong with your car unlike most places. There service they have is what keeps me coming in never had a problem with them.

The work they do is fine, but they will try to sell you as much stuff as they can even if your car doesnt even need that service to stay on the road. Therefore, i would never recommend this place to anyone. I will never trust any car shop that is more concerned with making money right now off unnecessary services then retaining a customer for life. Save yourself some money and find some place you can actually trust, and if your a women simply forget about it because WILL get taken advantage of like my wife was.

I showed up and was helped right away. Both of the gentlemen working were very polite and personable. They took the time to explain everything to me. They checked all of my fluids and filled my tires, they also washed my windows. It was a quick experience, but they left a lasting impression. They even honored my coupon, and were professional. Are quick to try and resolve issues they encounter but dont resolve it at the end. Cross threaded the piece that my filter attaches to. Promised to reach out to me to fix it never did. Workers are rude to deal with customers not wanting to take blame and could tell they were getting fruafrusted dealing with the issue. Will not recommend it to any family or friends.

I recently had my oil changed here and the attitude of the gentleman that helped me kind of just rubbed me the wrong way. I then proceeded to check over their checklist they gave me that they said they went over on my car. My differentials were not topped off, which i specifically said to check. I then confronted them about it to which their response was its their policy to abide by that checklist so it was not neglected and it was done. Ya definitely bad customer service.Overall expensive oil change and lazy work. The cashier was nice and cordial, and was the only highlight of the experience.

The crew at the Grease Monkey on Chrysler Drive in Belvidere is fantastic. On Saturday April 21, 2018 my wife and I stopped there due to a grinding noise on our E350 Van. Not only did they diagnose the problem but they repaired our truck but got us back on the road in just over an hour. Very courteous staff, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks guys

They tried to tell me that the yellow under my cap was from engine gunk , which I know is just condensation build up wanted to upsell me some sort of engine flush I didnt take it . Then when I was all done i was told the engine oil was still a little dirty cause I didnt get the engine flush . So I went home and checked my oil, it was dirty . I usually change my oil myself just didnt have the time right now so I know what it is suppose to look like . I went back watched the cameras cause they were nice and invited me to cause I was kinda upset . They were bad quality cameras it looked as if they didnt let it drain all the way cause the time he let it drain was quick. All I know is my oil is still dirty so Im getting it changed again Thursday not by grease monkey and I wont go back . P.s. the people working there were nice, just didnt like the quality of work their .

Crazy fast but not the cheapest. if youre in a hurry theyll get you in and out fast if youre just getting your oil changed. theyll try to upsell you but hey thats what youll get with a big chain.

I been taking my 17 year old 260k plus Silverado to Mr. Justin Locknut for 4 years. Trust him completely and if possible the only guy I trust to take a wrench to my rusty trusty truck. Tells me what i need and how to keep running. Fixin to bring him my cadillac for the first time tomorrow. Only complaint is belvidere grease monkey is 35 miles away.

This is usually where I go to get my oil changed but the last time I went there they damaged my air filter when they put it back. They never said anything, I had to spend 3+ hours at the dealership for them to tell me what happened. Luckily my car is still under warranty so I was not charged for labor or a new filter. I am annoyed that my time was wasted when Grease Monkey should have told me what happened instead of letting me leave.I have never had an issue with the service before but since they never told me they accidentally damaged my filter, I will not be returning.
