Was looking for a new place to go thats close to home and not super expensive. Stopped in to get my acrylic taken off and redone. Told the lady I wanted to keep my natural nails, and after clipping the acrylic and some of my nail she proceeded to rip the acrylic off. Not only did it hurt, but of course took my natural nail with it. Even after I said something she continued with her methods. It crossed my mind to leave then, but my nails were already clipped up and raggedy at that point and I had no time to go elsewhere. Long and short of it, I left feeling like I might as well have done my nails at home. The quality of the work was poor. The wannabe coffin shape was not consistent finger to finger. One hand was longer than the other. The acrylic was thicker on some fingers than others. In being patriotic I wanted to get something relative. Ive legit seen kids do better. A mediocre flag that I couldve done with my left hand. Sadly she thought her work was something to brag about. Someone had called as she was finishing and she put the cell phone camera to my nails to show them. The only up side is that the nails didnt pop off, even though I wasnt too sure they wouldnt. I shouldve went with my first mind and tried across the street. I did a better job the first time I tried to do my own acrylics at home.

I went there because the price was affordable. My mom and I went to get a full set. They only two lady, the owner and another lady. They didn’t ask how long I wanted them. They left my nail super thick and well she has no idea how to paint nails. Horrible customer service. We love dogs but they place stinks and there are hair everywhere.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I’ve been meaning to post a review months ago but I got a foot infection from this place thar resulted in me going to my primary care physician who referred me to a podiatrist! My foot infection got so bad it’s been 8 months and I’m still dealing with slight pain from my foot! They let their 2 dogs lay and roam around freely! The pedicure stations is pretty dirty I regret going! I usually only go their for my eyebrows they do an okay-ish job. Other than that, this place needs to be shut down!

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE...Went to get one chipped toe nail fix and it was the owner and her mother servicing one woman. The owner proceeded to tell me to come back tomorrow for ONE toe. I said absolutely not. once done with that first customer, she and her mother proceeded to clean old nail polish stains on the floor wit knives as I am sitting there waiting. When i call her out on it, she proceeds to say that I always complain (mind you I barely talk to her) and thats why she doesnt want to do my nails. I was so upset I almost called the cops to mediate the situation. The mother stepped in an ended up fixing my toe but that was the last time they will see me there. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL.

Always a great experience, the prices are great and my nails last long. I have tried many areas because I have moved away but my nails dont last as long anywhere else. I am an animal lover so when I walk in and see the small dog I dont mind it at all. There have been times where I bring my kids because I have no sitter and one of them will entertain them while I do nails. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!

I would advise that you go somewhere else for nail service. For starters, they allow two pets to lay and walk around while customers are being serviced. I went for a manicure and eyebrow waxing. The large dog was laying up against the chair used for eyebrow waxing. Im not sure why everyone believes that you should love their pets as much as they do, but this is a business not your home. It is a very unsanitary practice and it made me uncomfortable. Next, the staff is not up to date on the latest techniques. The offerings are very basic. I wanted stones on the ring finger and it looked like my kid did the design. After I paid for the service, a few of the stones fell off while I was at the register. The technician re-installed the stones but they looked cloudy after she applied clear polish over it. I asked her to just take the stones off and use plain gel to match the hand. She gave me a song and dance about the possibility of my nail burning if she were to remove the stones and that I should come back in two days. After much debate, she soaked my finger and the stones fell off as I expected. The technician applied a gel glitter polish to the nail without curing it under the UV light. Needless to say, that nail has chipped after one week. STAY AWAY from this place and go somewhere else! Your nails and health will thank you!!

I got gel and 2 of my nails chipped while I was using the bathroom . I’m disappointed this area doesn’t have good quality nail salons .

I gave Tinas Nails a 3 star, this time, because Im hoping for a difference when I go next time. After reading reviews, I decided to call and make an appt. I made my appt for a Wednesday at 1:15 for a gel fill in. I arrived about 1:10 and was told to take a seat and pick my gel color. Another woman walks in and is immediately told to take a seat at a station. That was annoying. Then another woman walks in, I over hear one of the nail techs say their 130 was early. She was told to sit at a station, so Im really annoyed now. After waiting 20mins I was finally told to take a seat at a station. The lady that did my nails (forgive me, I forgot her name) was at the first station to the right when you walk in. She did an EXCELLENT job with my fill in, another lady polished my nails. So Im very pleased with their work, but they need to work on the scheduling. I feel like they didnt even know they had a 115 coming, someone shouldve been free. Ill definitely go back for the work they did on my nails, hopefully next time they can keep the appt time they set for me.

I have never had a bad experience at this place. I always leave there satisfied and this is my 4th time here! They are very professional, and do a great job, everytime!

My girlfriend wanted to try this place out. And it was horrible. She was very dissatisfied, she’s never coming here again.

WELL THE DAY SHE DID THEM I PAID TO HAVE A GEL COAT ON TOP WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE POLISH AND LAST LONGER AND IT DID NOT ...THAT GEL SHE USES IS CHEAP AND BEING AS THOUGH SHE USED A CHEAP GEL ON MY NAILS I FEEL SHE COULD AT LEAST REPOLISH MY NAILS SINCE ITS HER FAULT BUT SHE WOULDNT! WHY WOULD I PAY AGAIN WHEN I ALREADY PAID $15.00 FOR A GEL COAT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE AND SHE NEEDS TO TRASH THAT CHEAP ASS GEL COAT SHES USING CAUSE IT WILL NOT LAST AND IT MAKES YOUR POLISH CRACK WITHIN 2DAYS! I did some business at Tinas Nails in Beltsville, Maryland...the owner who uses the name Anna aka Sal who was my nail technician serviced me....I Paid w/tip to her and the technician who completed my pedicure service...by Monday the nail polish started cracking so I went back to correct the problem. I was told I had to pay $7.00 for polish change. When I refused. The owner became argumentative with me. I kept my cool, then I told her she should never argue with paying clients. I explained to her, this is not a must do, its a luxury. I was told I talk too much and to be quiet. Excuse me, I said...who are U talking to? She proceeded to get upset, I explained to her, that I am a grown woman and U do not tell me to be quiet. I thank God for the change in my life...I called 911 for P.G. County who showed up and she was given the option to render the service she was paid for and refuse to correct w/o me paying seven more dollars or to refund the money that showed on the receipt...No good for business

Horrible horrible horrible. Twice I got a lady who didnt know what she was doing. The second and last tin I had this lady who took FOREVER to do both mani/pedi. Cut my nails to my SKIN and didnt have time to dry it so of course it got messed up and she did it again, only so haphazardly that there still cotton balls tails hanging from it. Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE because they will f&$k up but not charge you any less!!!!!

I came here to get my nails done they did a good job next day my nail broke went back I thought they would fix it for free they didnt never went back.
