My house is furnished and supplied by this store. I always end up with more than my list. Like you cant beat the prices.

I walked into the store and it was crowded. So far so good. Little disorganized as lot of shelves were empty. Product laying on the floor. I did manage to find what i was looking for. Now for the real challenge when I walked over to check out it was a 15 minutes wait. To summarize i decided to come back at a later time. Store can use better organization and more checkout tills.

Everything is $1 which is pretty neat but the store is very chaotic and messy. If the managers were smart theyd shut down for a day, reorganize and then nightly pick things up from the floor, mop and such. Youd have more people wanting to shop there and work there if it wasnt so bad.

Came to the store and I needed to use the bathroom. It was so dirty, no soap and looked worse than a gas station bathroom. The entire store was trashed and only one or two employees working

Lots of turnover so always new😍 stuff with a variety in New items. Sometimes if busy, they run slow at checkout till they can get another checker-if they have another checker. Overall, great place

In order to write this review I have to admit that I totally love Dollar Tree! Every single store has a unique selection of items chosen exclusively for its location. This chain of stores, in my experience all seem to maintain a certain standard of cleanliness while offering a fun for all ages shopping experience.

Selection is good but they never seem to have enough cashiers the lines get a bit to long

Only one register is open, doesn’t matter how many people are in line they will not open a second one. Manager doesn’t care either, I always hear people complaining about this store.

Looks like a tornado went through. Also seems like halfway through stocking they just stopped and theres boxes of products all over. Pretty crowded andnfor a while there was jusy one register open with about 10 people in line

There was no tree made of dollars, not worth my time.

The dollar tree is cheap, they sell things for summer, fall, winter, spring decor. And pretty much household things. Need some candy or a craving for sweets? Just come here, its cool.Need some batteries? They got them. Im kind of a nerd, so the batteries last for about 2 years at max just left on storage, and they have COB LED Flashlights there in case of a power outage, its not TOO bright but its enough to light up your way. I get the flashlights to tinker around with.They also sell little frozen pizzas, Maruchan Noodles, so on. They got little chocolate milks, too. Cleaning supplies, so on. Overall its a good place to be to get some immediate back-up supplies.And everything a dollar!So thats cool too.All I have to say as of now, ciao ciao!

I love the dollar tree stores. I find good deals and bargains every time I go. Plus the items you wanted to try but only the trial size item & here you can do both & if you dont like it you only spent a dollar on it not $5 & up.

Very long lines, prepared to wait in line over 10 mins. The store appeared trashed. Items were all over the ground, items were messy on shelves.I wish I took photos, I have never seen a store as messy like this. My friend and I was disgusted by the mess, it appeared as someone pushed all the items from the shelves on the floor.

Very happy with experience and purchases. I have a severe eye infection and I was able to find items that have definitely made this experience feel and heal so much better and for a very responsive cost. Cashier was very nice to me too which I appreciate. Im sure I looked quite daunting with more than half my face covered.

Was accosted by an unmasked customer when I asked the teller if/how they enforced the mandated mask law. The unmasked customer would not provide the medical exemption he claimed he had and the teller instead of supporting me, a masked customer only asking how they enforced the policy threatened to ban me and the unmasked man from the store. Manager then said they would not turn away unmasked customers entering the store. I will not be back.

This store has a good selection. It could just use improved organization, and clean-up outside. There is always a lot of garbage on the ground. The staff is usually kind.

Always a busy store. Dont come there expecting to get in and out. Line was almost around the store and the poor girl was the only cashier. Seen one employee just walking around. Such a drag. Lynden is a better store but less stock. Your choice.

Store was very messy. Things on floor and boxes everywhere. Pallet jack up front by register and could barely get by to leave the store.

Dollar store has always been one of my favorite places to go especially this one and i just found out that they don’t do returns. i purchased $60 worth of items yesterday and found out later that day that i don’t need the things i bought. i didn’t rip any tags off and they are still in the bag but like return policy’s? she said to come and exchange items for different ones when i do need something. who can hold on to one receipt and not lose it. not to add she had a tone on her voice after i asked about the returns. i didn’t even get to ask for her name. bummer really enjoyed dollar tree

Bellingham Dollar Tree! Listen up! You have a cashier working for you by the name of Brittany. GIVE THAT GIRL A RAISE! She went far and above what was asked, and saved the day! She deserves a management position. She is the best essential worker in not only YOUR store, but several around you.THANK YOU, BRITTANY!!

Walking around in the store. There stuff all over the floor and to get to another isle had to run over more stuff. Did not find what I was looking for cause everything wasnt organized, it was on the floor.

Checkout was fast but some items were out of stock.

I’m not a frequent shopper, but I felt it worth noting that I shopped on a Tuesday afternoon, when it was fairly busy, and there was an employee walking around not wearing a mask. It’s really frustrating to see, especially given our governor’s recent restrictions. Will certainly not be returning. If your employees feel they cannot wear a mask, please find alternative work for them where they are not interacting with and potentially exposing customers.

Hate this Dollar Tree!!!! The so-called manager is always walking around Half-masking and does not try to promote a safe environment for customers. When I approached him when 2 different people near me in line werent wearing masks, he said Oh, corporate told us we cant do anything about that. That is very poor customer service and he is not following the safety requirements that have been put in place for everyone. This ol guy manager has got to go!

This has to be the worstDollar Tree in Whatcom County.The place is always a mess The staff are rude and lazy. I told one cashier that there was soda all over the note books and on the shelf and floor. She was a bit rude about it.

This is a pretty good Dollar Tree store its not completely torn apart if you need something and it doesnt have to be top-of-the-line good place to go

Line was to the back of store. The lone checker never called for backup. Terrible service on a Friday afternoon. There has to be more then one checker.

Called to check if item can be refunded to talk to manager, one of the cashier answered and said manager is busy right now and rudely said we do not refund but exchange and just hanged up on me. This is a worse customer service I would say.

The store manager Brittany Hainsworth is very unprofessional, rude, and condescending human being. I have worked in customer service a very long time and would never act the way she does to anyone. My mother, 5 year old son, and I were picking up a few essential items. She approached me with severe hostility about my sons dad who happened to be shopping at the store as well. Asking if we were having a meeting there. I replied no that his dad said he was there picking up some things and I said okay we need to get some stuff too you can say hi to our son when we get there. She then proceeded to tell me we were not allowed to do that because he was not welcome at the store due to him using the restroom too long and supposedly stealing. I told her I didnt know anything about those issues. She then asks me if I can ask him not to come back to the store. I said I am not responsible for him if you dont want him here call the cops. Which she said she had. When I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. She told my mother her name after asking how my mom was related (which was none of her business). When my mom asked for her whole name she said You dont need to know that. I asked for the manager and she informed me that she was the store manager. I told her that I would be reporting her to the higher ups to which she snidely responded I would just love to know who you are going to report me to. I told her Im sure I could find the owners name and that I hoped she never talked to anyone that way again especially in front of a child. My mom, son, and I did nothing wrong and were treated like absolute garbage. My sons dad paid for his merchandise in the checkout line. After I paid for my merchandise I went outside in front of the store and was talking to my mom, and my sons dad. Brittany along with another employee were spying through the window at us. I am not sure what kind of high horse Brittany was riding on yesterday but just because you are the store manager does not give you the right to treat people that way. You have a boss to answer to as well and I will be talking to them because you deserve to be reprimanded for your behavior and atrocious customer service.

When I was in last week, someone came in without a mask. They were asked to put one on & they were baligerant & was yelling at the staff, lasted quite awhile. Finally he left the store. Those poor staff were only doing their job. Keeping all of us safe is priority. The staff did the right thing.

FYI, the bathroom is closed, what a miserable experience, having to hold it while i pay, then speed up the guide to Walmart because i needed to go there anyway and they guarantee have a bathroom open. I almost didnt make it, I get the fact that some homeless people use the bathroom there, but geez what about your customers, and by the way homeless people are human too and might need to go to the bathroom!

Worse experience i ever have had with that store i went in today to purchase drinks for myself and my empoyees and realized i didnt have my mask so i waited a couple seconds when i walked into the front of said store and ultimatley decided to go get it and return after i stoped at the motorcycle shop for a few things. I run the cellphone repair store across the street and frequently visit that store for drinks and snacks while i was standing outside of the motorcycle shop a worker of said dollar tree actually i beleive its the mannager drove by and started cursing at me and calling me a theif and threatining me while i was on the phone with a large customer i do repairs for rent a center. i have never seen someone so reckless i will not be slandered in front of people you have hurt my reputation and buisness for the things she said and i have already sought an attorney. We can not allow these things to happen. i am embarresed for her she has a position to care and to make the right calls and have the facts. i am beyond upset with my experince please do not go to this store its location is 300 telegraph rd in Bellingham in the buisness complex near home depot

It is a great place to buy something when you dont have a lot of money. Because of the virus, Ive tried calling to see if they have coffee filters, but their phone isnt working.

The dollar tree, is fine I only shop for items made in the USA unless the product is sturdy enough to use over and over. My only complaint, there is never enough staff, on the registers to keep people, from grumbling. But like all retail none of them have enough staff, they dont want to pay for more people.

I LOVE the Dollar Tree because of their stock of Arizona Ice Tea. You get a HUGE bottle for $1!!! Of course, the Arizona Tea company recently, like many manufacturers, has taken their 42 ounce size bottle and reduced it to 34. Figures. Still its a great price for a large, refreshing drink!

I am here or at the Lynden location almost daily. Great place to run in and grab what you need. Always hit Dollar Tree before the regular store. Saving dollars to make sense.

Ive been here many times and thought that most of the employees were fairly nice, but there are never enough cashiers open. There were six employees in the store today, one register open until I was checking out and a second opened.Today was by far my worst experience.I recently had back surgery and cannot carry anything over 8 Lbs. I wasnt able to park close to the store because all three handicapped parking were taken and so I had to park a little farther (no biggie, I figured I could just bring things to my car with a cart). There were only two carts Available and someone else was also wanting a cart so they took one and I took the other (the two carts there had tall bars on them to keep the carts in the store so I really had no choice),there were no other carts to be found and no employees going out to get any or find any (not all had the bars.I bought quite a few things to prepare for planting new flowers, seedlings and getting ready for Easter so I had a few bags. (People were still looking for carts while I was checking out)When checking out I asked the cashier if someone could help me take things to my car, he said just do a wheelie with the cart, youll make it outside .. I replied with, I just had back surgery, I am unable to do that. So I parked the cart and proceeded to take 1 of the 3 bags I had to the car and make single trips for the other bags as well as the 4 small bags of gardening soil out to my car one by one. Once I got to my car, I chose to move my car closer to the store and double park so I didnt have to walk so far for each trip. It wasnt until I was going back in to get my next bag and literally THREE, YES 3 more customers asked for a cart that they sent someone to get carts. I told one of the customers I was happy to give them mine after I carried everything to my car but it would take me a little while because I could only take so much at once. She was kind enough to help me get the rest of my things to my car but not once did an employee offer to help. Its really sad!

The dollar tree has been the best idea in the century. Food items not bad for a buck and tons of other items.

The only thing I can say good about this store is the prices, and that their selection is pretty good. That is why Im giving a 2-star rating.I call things honestly when I rate any business. Having been a retail manager in the past, I feel like I have a solid perspective and the experience to say that their customer service is 1-star or less. The past several trips Ive made here have been excruciating due to their obvious policy of operating on skeletal staffing.At checkout tonight, 6:30-7:00 timeframe, they had one lonely cashier. The store was extremely busy, and by the time I reached the head of the line there were a full dozen people backed up waiting. The cashier had no name tag, so I cant give him kudos by name, but he did a fantastic job of keeping his head about him while twelve customers cooled their heels, some not so quietly. Manager finally came out of her office where she was apparently counting down a till.The appropriate way of handling things would have been to either let that other cahier she was counting out sit tight for 10 minutes and take care of customers, or better yet, offer them a little overtime to help clear the prime-time rush.Their ARE other options for dollar discount shopping considering the big-2 pharmacy stores nearby both have dollar discount sections, and Ill strongly consider using them in the future.

They were nice today store is always messy

Dollar Trees are Dollar Trees. Sometimes theyre messy sometimes theyre clean. Sometimes theres good finds. Sometimes there isnt. I do like this location though because they are open so LATE! I am from the midwest and usually the Dollar Trees close at 9pm. This one stays open till 10pm most days. We go here when we are bored. I like to buy some of the makeup, they get name brands in off seasons etc... I also get random holiday candies for the kids, theyll eat anything... And for the prices you can get a large assortment of anything. From plates to snacks to holiday cards.

Id love to post pictures of the restrooms, but there is no upload link on Google. Friendly employees but highly disorganized, crowded with over the border shoppers and typically only one checkout lane is open. Most of Bellingham retail is like this however with over the border seeing our shopping centers as some sort of tourist attraction...

Clean, well-lit, friendly staff, and a great selection. I especially like shopping here for seasonal items, candy, greeting cards, gift wrap, toothbrushes and office supplies. Oh, and mylar balloons. I look forward to going and always wind up buying much more than Id planned!

Dollar Stores are so underrated, it’s sooooooooooo convenient that you can literally find all of day to day necessities at this store for literally only $1.00, candy? The dollar store gots it!, hand soap? They got that too, cheese? They got that too!! Beer! They got th... nevermind, they don’t got that.. but ya know what i mean!

We like this store. We really really like the other one better. It’s the dollar tree in 36th street in Bellingham. That one usually has the crafts items you will see on YouTube craft channels. And my daughter, my best friends and I are obsessed with dollar store crafts. I have some amazing things I’ve made and people always ask where I bought them. Haha. Dollar store is my answer and no one believes me.

Dollar Tree is always a great place to pick up things on a at the last moment. Just always remember the quality is not the best and name brand items might not always really be the name brand item.

Love this store because you save so much on household products that we need every day. Even at Wal-Mart I would pay 50% to 100% more to shop for the same things.

They have a decent selection of stuff for a cheap price. I once found potato chips that wouldve costed over 2 dollars at an average store.

This place is ok, they have a big selection of items, but they need more cashiers. The lines get so long and it takes forever to checkout. There are at least 4 or 5 people at the register at any given time. There could be 20 and it would still only be 1 cashier working...
