So. I used to not care who i got my haircuts from. They looked good enough for me. Well let me tell you when that changed. It changed when I had my haircut by Anna Scheib. Let me tell you. I went in with this idea of the haircut i wanted. It felt like she literally read my mind. It was better than what I envisioned. I will continue to go back here as LONG as they are in business.Their COVID practices are absolutely flawless as well. I really appreciated that Salon Tryst does on site hair and make up for as few as two people. I let my bridesmaids choose if they wanted to have hair and make-up done, which they appreciated. They answered all my questions and made the process painless.On the day of the wedding my stylists, Leah and Anna, arrived precisely on time. Ive been battling my eyebrows for quite a while now, and thanks to Nicole I finally feel comfortable with myself. Also, its a known fact that waxing hurts, and when she sugared my eyebrows, it was the smoothest feeling. It didnt hurt at all! She also does hair that looks amazing! Tart Beauty did hair and make up at my daughters wedding. They were so professional and so much fun! The whole wedding party looked beautiful! They did an initial consultation with my daughter and made sure when she left the consultation that she was so happy with her wedding day look. They took the time to listen to what she wanted and came up with exactly what she was looking for.On the day of the wedding, they came out to the wedding site and did hair and make up for the bride, 4 bridesmaids, the mother of the groom and me. They also did a quick, unplanned touch up on one of the grandmas and one of the groomsmen and everyone was ready, on time and stress free! I have been a customer of Tart Beauty for 5 years starting in her original location downtown Bellingham. Leah is professional and friendly and I have always felt extremely comfortable. I have gone there for their waxing and facial services and I have always been pleased with my experience. Their prices are reasonable and the new location is very convenient right near the Fred Meyer on Lakeway. The parking is great and her salon is cheery and comfortable. I booked Leah to do my bridal makeup for my January wedding a few months in advance, and less than a week before my wedding I got eyelash extensions at a totally different location up in canada, and they all fell off of my lashes! I called Leah in a panic wondering if she knew anyone who could help me out last minute, and she hooked me up with Susan! Susan was able to fit me in and fix up my lashes beautifully. she was fun, attentive and talented! Not to mention accommodating and very relaxing for my pre wedding jitters!Leah did a FANTASTIC job of my makeup. I had an evening wedding but my makeup and photos were in the late morning, at no point did I need a touch up throughout the day, and even when I got back to my hotel at 1 am, after HOURS of crazy wedding dancing, I looked just as fresh as when she applied it over 14 hours earlier!! She was hilarious, talented and very open to suggestion. She went out of her way to make sure I liked what she did, and we had a blast at the trial and the event application!I cant say enough wonderful things about Salon Tryst, you should probably go check them out, youre in incredible hands here!!
