Ive never been in one, but went in for a pellet smoker. It was easy to check online they had it available. I found it, let the employee know I wanted one, and he quickly came back with it loaded on a cart for me. Check out was great.Its like a cross between hardware/outdoor and grocery. Im thrilled to have one so close!

If you are purchasing KlearVue cabinets, make sure to ask questions. They aren’t too informative on telling you all the details. You need to apply and attach the covers. Assemble drawers, basically build it yourself. Make sure to open the cabinets, they aren’t white in the inside.You may want to upgrade to the next cabinets if you don’t want to hassle with it.

Its that time of year, found some great sales on what we need for spring. Fertilizer, grass patch, easy to find. And of course 11% off rebate. Makes a big difference as a carpenter also. I end up buying tools for work with the rebates. Its a perfect payback, for shopping at the same place for 24yrs:)

Really discouraging to find that they have switched to sealed pouches of bolts, nuts, washers. Needed 2 5/16 x 1 bolts. Ended up with 58 lock washer, 36 nuts, and 11 bolts. Around $10.50. Ace hardware will be my future go to place.

The good thing is they have about everything you could ever want.The bad news is its impossible to find.The worst news is its run like Circuit City. Truly. The amount of people you have to deal with for a special order is unreal (and its a major time suck). If I was a shareholder (not sure if they are public) Id be jumping ship, there is no way this thing can stay above ground with the horrible systems in place.

During this past pandemic year, I was able to purchase and have delivered to my home: pet food, groceries, repair items, and household goods. This was a life-saver for me since I was in self-quarantine. Thanks so much.

We have bought roofing from Menards twice now, each order was the metal roofing, emerald green. Both orders together equals approximately $5000 The last order we had delivered yesterday only to find out that the ridge caps are brown. Question, why would I want brown ridge caps when the rest of my order is emerald green? When we were at the store ordering there was two employees working on the computer because one wasn’t sure how to put this type of order in. The another one came in was showing them how to put the order in. When the order was done they ripped off a piece of paper, handed it to me and told me to go to delivery , directed me where to go and sent me on my way. When I got to delivery I paid an extra $70 for delivery and it was delivered yesterday, only to find out that there are brown ridge caps. I called Menards and basically was told that I have to bring the brown ridge caps back in return them. re-order the emerald green ridge caps and then wait for the new ridge caps to come in. I understand all of that, but I don’t feel that this is my fault. I feel this is poor customer service, $5000 to that store and I have to do all of the legwork to get these ridge caps returned, or have brown ridge caps on my emerald green roof.

Good luck figuring out how to find what you paid for in the self-service lumber yard for the first time. However, once I found what I had bought the employee that stopped by was actually very helpful.

Disappointed I wasnt able to find a peel & stick paper for countertops. However, clerk in wood products was extremely helpful when I was looking for something to use as rungs on a swing set.

Good store but I cant imagine the nightmare for people working there with their jingle on repeat. Thats pretty annoying. Its like Were here already, you can stop with the jingle!!! Ugh.

Easy to locate what you are looking for, and the customer service here is 100x better than Home Depot and at least 20x better than Lowes. They may not carry many name brand tools, but prices are usually up to 7% cheaper than the other hardware stores. This place is my go-to for all most of my project needs.

The guard at the gate to the yard was extremely unhelpful. All the yard would is just point to where you needed to go. This is one of the reasons I go to Lowes.

Very helpful. I liked that they had a place in the back set up to help with pick ups.You could take your sales receipt in and they would find and bring your item to your vehicle then load it for you.

Love the security camera system. When you zoom in you can see the mustaches on the ladies across the street. Can also hear clearly everything they say . Love the police hook up feature to send videos to police department and the you tube video share buttons. Have been filming 24 hours a day. Night vision works perfect. Love it.

Great experience as usual. Knocking off a star for lack of knowledge. I needed suction cups to remove a glass panel. Hardware said it was in electrical and electrical said it was in hardware. Then someone walked me to automotive where they also were not located. Ended up being by tiles. Anyways good experience most of the time

Had the worst experience with a miserable cashier associate. He proceeded to glare vehemently and escort us out of the store for no mask.It felt very wrong, and was absolutely poor customer relations.I will proudly take my business online just to have no more miserable run-ins with folks like him.

So I walked into the garden center and they have no signage that says you have to wear a mask despite the Karen at the register yelling saying you need to... you are pretty much outside its so unbelievably hot! I knew they had restrictions but Im not going to buy a $1 paper mask to wear to one store for 5 minutes, you want customers you should provide the mask! Walked right back out and took my money to Lowes and Home Depot which have no restrictions!

He puffed up his chest in front of me, And got in my face when I entered the store. questioning how old my senior child is. I’m 5’1 140lbs he’s 340lbs and 5’9. Not cool to try and intimidate woman for a business and to second question my answer asking if I am sure after I already told him My child’s age. He’s no authority Figure and after this instance, I will take my business elsewhere- I don’t deserve to be treated this way while entering a store setting.

Was in Menards in Bellevue, Ne today. Was required to were face mask. Even employees were taking mask off from time to time to let out moist air. Menards in Iowa never had that rule. Actually eat in restraint near Menards that was open for fine in, no mask required . Like this store, but enough is enough.

I am healthy and wear a mask when asked, however almost everyone I saw working here had cloth masks on and were fidgeting with them rendering them useless. If you are going to mandate the use of them, then train your people to wear them properly and provide them with proper PPE

People working in yard dont know where things are at.

Great selection and pretty competitive prices but some items are overpriced for the quality and/or quantity of the item....... Definitely not enough registers open the last few times Ive been there and very inexperienced or possibly untrained employees in the checkout lines

Forgot my mask at home so could not shop i understand that is a rule and appreciate them making there store safe to shop but what gets me is they want to sale you a paper mask for 1 dollar!!!! Extremely poor customer service. Kim at the return center was very rude and short when I was trying to fix an overcharge. I ended up refunding my purchase due to her response to my questions.I emailed Menards customer service about the issue and was in turn called a liar and was accused of rearranging the lumber by Ray. What!?Extremely unprofessional and rude all the way around. Horrible experience.

I was at the store yesterday early evening, wearing my mask through the store even though I have an underlying health condition that makes it hard fir me to breath. As we were in line at the register I pulled my mask down to get my breath the cashier was rude and said she wouldnt check us out with my mask down as I couldnt breath. Now menards has handicap stalls for disabled people but thats as far as they abide by the ADA and help disabled people!! Spoke with a young girl at the desk with major attitude that was too busy flirting with another employee before speaking with my husband. She with a smart mouth says we are private property we can do what we want What happened to following the law as far as I know wearing a mask is not law!!! Even Walmart states on their signs that people with health conditions will not be forced to wear a mask. Menards used to have polite people working there now just a bunch of kids acting likeentitled little brats.

Most visit are great, employees are very helpful. Even the checkout people are pleasant.

Forklift drivers Angel and David went above and beyond helping load railroad ties into my truck, which took almost an hour. Absolute great dudes.

This is regarding Carlos working in the yard at 4:00pm Nov 13. He went over & above to help me & find everything I needed. He is definitely an asset compared to what I usually see. There is not a lot of hard working/ helpful people like him. Not only was he helpful, he also presented himself very well. Had a helpfully happy smile on his face & asked if I needed help before o even got out the truck. This man deserves a reward/ bonus

Finding a person to help you is almost impossible and they dont really act like they want to help you.

Good choice for home improvement needs. Prices are good. A bit better quality hand tools elsewhere but you cant beat the selection of lumber anywhere.

Im tired of running up there and not finding what I need (despite the website saying it is in stock) or only being able to choose from 3rd rate cheap products as others have noted. I bought a locking doorknob (made in China) only a few months ago. The thing no longer works because the metal inside chewed itself up (stripped) under normal use. Other times Im obviously having trouble finding what I need and employees walk on by and dont bother asking if I need help. Not to mention its a pain at times to fight traffic to drive back into that hole with only one road in and out for the entire plaza area. Its all ACE for me now.
