Great service all around. The staff was very professional and friendly. Im a consumer user of lawn equipment and not a professional, and they still treated me with absolute courtesy and helped out with all my questions. I needed a small adjustment on my weedwhacker and one of the guys says we dont even work on those. It is not worth the time and money to fix them. We sell echo and stihl.I went home and fixed it myself with a few new gas lines and runs great. I gave it to a neighborhood kid for his lawnmowing jobs and I went to Bomgaars and bought a new echo weedwhacker.If you wonder where small engine shops go they disappeared because people fixed it themselves or bought their tools at big box stores like I did.

J & J Small Engine is awesome. I needed some chains sharpened in a hurry. I dropped them off Thursday at 3:00 pm, and they had them ready Friday morning. This was my first time at J & J, and was treated like a long time regular. Their customer service was excellent, and the chains have never been sharper. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a repair on their small engine of all types. Or to purchase a new or used chain saw, mower, snow blower, tiller...

I needed a new belt for an antiquated lawn edger and they were able to hook me up. Great job!

I went here in the middle of a snow storm to purchase a snow blower. Despite being very busy they took the time to help me in detail since I have never owned a snow blower before. They helped me pick out the right one for my needs and didnt try to up sell me to some big expensive machine. Their knowledge and kind, helpful service was very appreciated.

These people are the real deal. I recently purchased a snowblower from J&J. I went to pick it up and they immediately recognized it wouldnt fit well in my truck. First they spent time taking me through the basics of using the machine, then they told me they would deliver it! They had it to my house the same day. Very professional and friendly.I got to use it for the first time today.....after a few minutes I started to see smoke and smelled a burning type smell. I called them and they sent out a tech within an HOUR....in a SNOW STORM.Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong ...just a little inexperience on my part (my first snowblower). New machines have a certain smell until they are broken in. Ive cleared my driveway, sidewalks, my neighbors sidewalks. Works like a CHAMP. Ive very happy with the purchase and super impressed with the customer service. Great experience!

Consider me very impressed with their service. I bought a 45 cc Stihl chainsaw from them that I later realized just didn’t have enough power for the new farm that we bought. No knock on them for that - I just failed to realize how much engine the larger trees on the place required to cut effectively. They gave me a fair trade-in value for the used saw and an excellent recommendation for a new 60 cc Echo CS-590 Timber Wolf chainsaw more suited to our new property’s demands. I also got a great product demonstration after both purchases and the nee one cuts our bigger treees like a champ. Overall, I’m very pleased with this shop and would definitely recommend them.

They dont need this review because everyone already knows they are THE go-to for small engine needs. But, just wanted yall to know how much I appreciate you taking care of me and ny business. Truly the ONLY place I can say has taken 100% care of me since I started. The only place Ill ever go, and the only place I refer customers and friends that need work done. Cant say thank you enough.

Talk about quick and friendly service, WOW! The front desk was extremely nice, the service guy for my mower was really helpful and also helped me load the mower when they were finished. All around great experience. Will definitely look at them for my maintenance going forward.

Stopped in to take a look and see for myself, the reviews gave a sneak preview but from I seen myself this mom n pop seems to be legit. I leave my review for purchase experience, Mark helped answer any and all questions and got me hooked up with the new blacked out Toro Super Recycler. They made the process easy, handed my money over and Mark took it from there, including the registration work and even got me setup for an extended 5 year engine warranty by simply purchasing synthetic oil and make sure it’s done for my first 3 oil changes.Hell they even sent a Thank You card for the purchase I made at their business.Impressed for sure

Great place to get lawn mowers and generators fixed.Staff is also great at getting parts. They are also awesome for buying or fixing chain saws. This is where I buy my saw chain.I have a portable saw mill business and I have these guys fix all my mechanical stuff and order my parts for me. They have even done some warranty work on the engine of my saw mill. Replaced the starter at no cost to me done the same day i brought it in.Tons of professional landscapers get their equipment fixed here. I think that says a lot about the quality of service and the reliability of their repairs.

Ive used J and J Small Engine for several repairs now and have been happy with them both times. Going to them was cheaper than throwing new parts at it and repairing it myself. They can do full service diagnosis and repair or just a simple carb repair when I brought it in already removed with a sticking float.

Hands down best service and most professional shop in the omaha metropolitan area I own a lawn care company and have done business with all of them over the years and. I have literally walked out of other shops and driven clear across town to give J and J my business. They are adequately staffed to handle busy times and their staff is very knowledgeable in regard to every single tiny part of every single machine that they sell.

Absolutely terrible. I took my chainsaw in to get a primer button fixed I ended up picking up my chainsaw in pieces with them telling me I should buy a new one.... so I paid you to tare apart my running chainsaw for you to tare it completely apart and give it to me in pieces?

Asked my wife to drop off my mower to get the pull string replaced and apparently they talked her into a oil change and blade sharpening, things non-related. Typical example of taking advantage of someone for added services. This never sits well with me with a business and it will be the last time I go here. UPDATE- Mower broke shortly after and they refused to make things right, especially after everything they put us through. If I could give 0 stars, I would for these crooks. Next step, Better Business Bureau.

Above and Beyond.I recently purchased a 2 stage snow blower used. Took in for a tune up. Only ran on full choke. 2 days later running good. They loaded it in my truck for me. 1st big snow storm in Feburary that i had a chance to use it the machine ran for about 3 to 5 mins and then it quit. It was a Saturday. The next monday my wife and I were on the process of loading the snowblower up to bring it in. She slipped on her side and i had to take the full weight and hurt my back. Explained to Connie the situation. A second storm was planned for that evening. They said they would do their best to get it back to me same day. I called about 430pm spoke with Connie. She stated that the snowblower was done.I walked my crippled self out to my truck and rushed to be there by 5. It had started to snow and traffic was crawling. Connie called me about 514pm and asked if i was ok. I told her i was but just fighting traffic. I arrived about 6 mins after the call. They loaded the machine up for me and they didnt even charge me for a part that had gone bad. They exchanged it for a used part just to help me get going due to my back problems. I am extremely greatful for thier understanding.My wife was able to use the snowblower and clear the 4 car garage driveway. Ran like a champ started on the first pull.Thank you for putting the customer first, staying late and finding a way to solve a problem.

GREAT customer service , I was only 14 the first time I walked in there and the service teds gave me I was sorta scared to talk to these guys !But , right away I felt comfortable with what they where telling me and servicing me with !I since then have purchased scags just because I like the brand but I will always take them to J&J !So helpful with everything I want and need , just all around great company !

Our mower was acting up, only a couple months after purchasing it. We were directed by the mower manufacturer to take it here for work under warranty. We dropped it off for them to look at, with the knowledge that we wanted work done under warranty. Apparently, that could not be done for whatever reason (dont know, we never heard from them.) They decided to go ahead and do work on our mower outside of warranty, therefor racking up a bill for work we never authorized them for. When trying to remind them that we never gave them permission to do work outside of the manufacturers warranty, I was told to shut my mouth! Ive never gone to the BBB, or lawyered up over a crappy business before. But that streak ends with this den of crooks.

First of all this place was my favorite shop too go too the people was great very nice but one day my wright stander broke could not use it was down on time tim let me use his exmark loaner that they wanted too sell for 9500 and only give me 1500 for my wright stander so i got a second opion on the value of it and tys outdoor power gave me 4k trade and i got a new 2017 wright stander and when j j heard tim called me and said dont come back too his shop no more over a mower that isnt right

Bad. I took my 300.00 mower in for a tune up, and they charged me 150.00 when I took it in for a 50.00 special. Either they should of let me know the expense increase before proceeding. or even worse they couldnt recognize that it was 300.00 mower.
