ACR salvaged data off my old laptop hard drive after it crashed. They replaced it with a solid-state drive that is at least twice as fast, and generates almost no heat. Almost 3 years later, and it is still working great.ACR is also a quick and easy place to drop off old electronics for recycling (an old TV in my case).

Ive read some of the negative reviews about this place and I can see a common theme with the reviewers: they want things cheap and dont really know what they are talking about.One person thinks you can get a high-end CPU for $265. Really? Where? Off-the-shelf at Walmart? A high-end machine will range from $3,000 - $6,500 depending on the brand. If you custom build it yourself, youre probably looking at $5,000 depending on the quality of the components you put in it. To the Karen that wrote that post... asking a local small business to work for pennies on the dollar because you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about is morally wrong and shows you have no basic human decency.Another person wanted hardware for much less than you can buy in a regular store. Well, I have to caveat that with what I think the person wanted because the post was syntactically devoid of any type of grammar and then devolved into an incoherent tirade. My primary computer died and I went in to ACR and the diagnosis was made quickly and agreed with what I suspected. A replacement was found in a short time and price was right. The people there were professional and down to earth friendly. They are willing to listen so your replacement will meet your requirements, I know I am happy with mine. Last year my 13 Dell I 3 was having issues. I do not remember the specifics however the gentleman at Affordable Computer brought it back to life and I have used it steadily since then. At that time he thought the mainframe (??) could be going out. And it worked reliably since then. I think he gave me an extra year or two and can recommend the work done for me.

I have relied on Steve at Affordable Computer Repair to take care of my devices for probably the last dozen years or so. Water spill on Asus Gaming laptop (we use for our home business), no power. Took it in for priority repair and all was taken care of by next day. They were able to clean off the motherboard terminals and get the power back with no added equipment. Really appreciate the great job they did.

A great place to get your Laptop back in working order. BUT make sure they do a stress Test on your computer before giving it back to you. Took mine in...got it back, day later it was having an over heating issue, its working now...but again, have them do a stress test to avoid multiple visits in a short span(. -added 9/18/2020- already wrote a review as you can see...but keep getting emails to do so. Still a good place to fix your computer, got mine fixed in the omaha branch...weather its still there amid the pandemic Im not sure)

Recently brought my computer to ACR (Affordable Computer Repair) with a complex issue, it took them a a few days of tinkering to find out what was going on. I am happy with the money I spent as I could not fix the issue myself, but the guys at ACR are respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great people, great advice! They helped me custom build a gaming computer. They were knowledgeable and very helpful with what to get. They also told me why and what steps to take in the future to make the build future proof. They really spent their time and made me feel like I was their only customer through the whole experience, even when I took several days (maybe it was weeks) to decide what I wanted to do. Excellent work, they talked me through all of the options and discussed all the potential costs of the work they might do. After explaining the options and evaluating my laptop, they said would be willing to fix it and that there were two practical options, but that with an older machine like mine it would be more practical and less expensive to replace the computer.
