A few weeks ago, we hired Mike and American Roofing and Siding to replace our roof and gutters. His entire team was very professional from start to finish; from quote through installation. The on-site team did high quality work and left our yard and property in immaculate condition. When a few things came up regarding some unforeseen water damage, they communicated with us immediately and got the job done. I would highly recommend using American Roofing and Siding for any roofing work.

About 3 years ago, Mike and his team replaced our roof and gutters. Mike was very helpful, gave a great price, and even provided some addresses where we could go to view our shingle color choices on an actual roof! They did great a great job and I highly recommended them to friends that needed roofing work done. Today (a Saturday), I emailed Mike with a gutter leak issue and he called me less than ten minutes later to tell me a work crew was on the way. Incredibly, as he was explaining that his crew was on the way, they actually arrived at our door to take care of the problem, again LESS THAN 10 MINUTES after I reported it on their webpage. They fixed the problem at no charge! Amazing! Needless to say, I highly recommend American Roofing .

John Leo was very professional and I was amazed that I had my roof repaired the day after I spoke with him. John and his son and his helper did an amazing job and they cleaned up after they were finished. I would totally recommend them if I could give them more than 5 stars I would great job.

Had a great experience with Mike and American Roofing replacing the roof of my old garage. Mike was very responsive, answered all of my questions, and stayed true to the quote. The work happened much sooner than I expected, and looks great.

Several years ago Mike and his crew replaced part of my roof and installed complete new siding, shutters and gutters. Great job! And great continued service: twice since installation they have returned to fix the siding after damage from near hurricane winds and weather. And DIDNT charge me for the repairs! Mike and his team at American Roofing are world class. Mike did a full replacement of 100+ year old roof and gutter system for us - a very complicated job. Several roofing contractors would not even quote the job. Over 5,500 square feet of roofing that Mike and his team took down to the rafters and installed an absolutely STUNNING brand new roof and gutter system. His team was efficient, knowledgeable, with incredible attention to detail, which was very important to us given the historic nature of our home. Our job was 6 full days, and part of our rafters had to be re-framed - despite this, Mike and his team came in on budget and on time. Mikes customer service is second to none - he understands a roof repair and / or roof replacement is a major expense for people, and treats you as such - he was always available to answer my questions and give updates on progress. He came highly recommended, and now we know why. We cant recommend American Roofing enough!

LOVE American Roofing! When we spoke to Mike, the owner, about replacing the roof, he considered the weather and we decided we would wait for the right time. My husband and I were out of state for a few weeks during the holidays. Mike called me and said the weather is great today-- can we do the roof? We said SURE! He took photos during the day and texted them to us showing the progress (the neighbors did the same!) By the end of the day, the roof was on and beautiful! The neighbors were so impressed! (The workers even took my wreaths down while they were up there!) When I came home....it was so nice coming home to a beautiful new roof! Mike and his guys did a great job! American Roofing replaced my entire roof on my over 2,000 sq. ft. ranch house in Clifton, NJ. The work was amazing. The crew worked non-stop and finished the job a lot faster than I thought possible. When they finished the clean up was great. You couldnt find a nail or any refuse any where. When we moved to our townhouse development the Board of Directors hired American Roofing to redo the roof on a 4 Unit building. Once again the job was done perfectly and the entire community expressed their satisfaction. Without reservation I can highly recommend Mr. DeRosa and American Roofing.

I used American Roofing on my first house 15 years ago and they did a great job so I used them again for my current house..that was mistake.The screwed up the ventilation so I have mold growing in my attic. They attempted to fix it once then Mike stopped returning phone calls and I still have mold.Now, 2 years later, my roof leaks and Mike wont get back to me again.

These guys replaced my roof a year ago. The night before the install, I had a tree come down on my house. The immediately stepped in and led the efforts to work with the insurance company to ensure I got what I needed. Fast forward a year and my house is for sale and a whacko inspector flagged the roof as suspect and the immediately were out to review and provided all paperwork and photos I needed to make my buyer happy that they indeed had a good roof and stood by their work. They did a very good job reshingling and repairing / leveling a sagging area on the roof on my 1959 split level. They were efficient, getting in and out in 1-1/2 days, and cleaned up well when done. Only one comment - I could have used a full sample of the shingles we selected, they ended up looking a lot different than what I expected.

Ive now used American Roofing & Siding on three occasions over the past decade. I did significant research ahead of selecting a contractor for my roofing and siding needs, looking at everything from quality of work, to pricing, to good communication. It quickly became clear through direct communication with the owner, Mike, in each instance that he and his entire crews are dedicated to not only the work they do, but the customer service they provide. The fact that theyre a local company I get to support is just another bonus.I initially selected them for a roofing job that required a full teardown of my old, multi-layered roof and installation of a new one. Soon after, a re-siding and gutter job. In both instances Mike spent the time to answer my questions about various job options, guidance on materials selection / brands / color options / etc., and even some recommendations on both improved functionality and aesthetics. The quote process was timely, clearly documented, and fair pricing. The work was done quickly, the crews were professional, courteous, well-supervised and did a nice job on debris cleanup. I had a minor ask at the end of the job which was taken care of within a day or two, and at no additional charge. I was very happy with the results of the work.Fast forward almost a decade later, and I had an emergency situation when a very large township tree was downed in a storm and fell over onto my roof. It took the township a full afternoon to cut it away and remove it, and was lucky that the damage was not significant, but the roof was still punctured and damaged in multiple areas. I called American Roofing & Siding, and Mike got back to me immediately. I sent some photos of the damage and within a day he showed up with a crew to assess the damage, and fully repair the roof--not a temporary emergency repair, but a permanent repair--including shingle replacement with the original model and color shingle tiles-at discounted pricing, no less, due to my previous business almost ten years prior. And all of this despite being in the middle of this Covid-19 lockdown. Less than 24 hours later, a significant rainstorm blew through, and I was grateful to have had this issue resolved before new ones could be created. I cant say enough positive things about this company; in me they have a customer for life!

I called and met with several roofing contractors not only for quotes but to get a good sense of business and quality. I discovered American Roofing LLC from GAF website. Checked the reviews, BBB ratings, and decided to give it a shot. I tell you within five minutes on the phone with Michael DeRosa, and I got a good sense of feel. I happened to be away that weekend when Mike did the estimate. About 2-3 days later I received an email plus US mail as follow up, with the quote and contract agreement. I reviewed the materials and quote. I called, signed and scheduled an approximate installation date, weather dependent. Mike kept me informed via email, text, phone calls at all times. The day of the installation, the crew that showed up, I couldnt have been any happier. I got to speak with with most of them. I learned the loyalty his crew members have for Mike, some working for Mike almost two decades at American Roofing LLC, says alot to me. The guys are treated like family and that his how Michael treats his clients and your property, as if it was his own house being worked on. That morning was actually the first time I got to meet Michael. The crew was knowledgeable and they were so in sync up on the roof. Rip and tear one full day and couple hours next day. Property was left clean of any debris. Now my dad, who happens to live across the street from me, needed very small repair. Few missing shingles. Mike asked his guys to take a quick look for my dad. I paid my bill such as quoted Michael did not charge any extra for the small repair on my dads roof. In todays world, no one does nothing for nothing (slang). Well, I believe my due diligence paid off. Totally satisfied that I picked, Michael DeRosas company to perform the work. He has gained my trust and future business. If your looking for fair, honest price, good business sense and quality..... About about week later, I received roofing warranty from GAF that Michael registered for me. Dont call American Roofing Company in Belleville NJ if you have a small job to be done. I live in Belleville and try to keep business in the town that I live. I called this company for an estimate on replacing the fascia on my house and got a phone call back saying that they were too busy to take on this job. So much for keeping small town businesses busy.
