The management staff goes above and beyond to help you out! I cant say enough good things about Chelsea and Jenora in the leasing office! They have been so polite and willing to help me with anything I have asked!!

Very nice complex, remodeled with newer appliances. Family oriented and next to College and shopping areas. One of the better apartment complexes in Belleville. The manager Chelsea was great!

They are completely unprofessional everything is basically held together with hot glue, things have been falling apart since move in and if it wasn’t for being trapped in a twelve month lease I would have been gone a long time ago. This is not a place you want to rent from, unless you’re okay with fixing and redoing simple mistakes every time you turn around.

Completely unprofessional. One minute I was told I wouldn’t have to pay a deposit because I was military the next minute I was told it was a requirement. please ensure you document every conversation if you’re considering moving here.

Supremely average experience so far. The apartments and grounds are nice, so are the facilities. Community is peaceful and no issues with neighbors. Rent is reasonable. Parking is HORRENDOUS! Definitely needs more parking spaces/bigger lots. Its almost impossible to have guests over because the guest spots are always full with residents since you only get one spot per apartment and many apartments have 2 people.People in leasing are polite enough but communication needs to be improved. Took me a month to get a payment issue solved when their auto pay didnt take after I set it up correctly and called/emailed multiple times to more than one person. (Auto pay didnt take this month either so Im just going to disable it). Weve also had water/maintenance issues a few times in my building; first time they taped a note to the door, second time a note wasnt placed until the next day and it took THREE DAYS to get the issue solved. An email wouldve been nice. The 2nd time I had to hear there was an issue from the guy outside working on the water before we heard it from the leasing office. A few other maintenance issues have taken longer than desired to be fixed, or took a few attempts at fixing before being fixed. Overall it hasnt been my worst apartment experience but definitely not my best.

After moving into my townhouse 02/29/2020, my place flooded 03/04/2020 destroying me & my 3 children clothing. I was insulting offered $150 for damages with no accountability being taken by office. After losing majority of our clothing, uniforms, comforters, & towels in sewer water! They brag on renovations however the only thing noticeably new is the kitchen appliances & one of my heaters are broke, still no response from maintenance and its been a week. Worst mistake in my life moving here!!!Update** 03/18/2020 I experienced another flood causing my ceiling to fall.. here it is a month & it still has not been replaced. The place smells like something has died in the walls! On top of that a closet door fell off the hinges onto my 3 year old daughter.. this place was not ready to be rented to anyone & they don’t care!

Overall one of the nicest places Ive ever lived. The buildings are definitely a bit dated and have their quirks, but theyre still well-maintained. The community is fairly peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. The rent is an extremely good value considering how large the units are (at least for the townhouses). The office staff are friendly and helpful, and maintenance has always been extremely quick and responsive. The only reason Im moving out is because my career is taking me to other places in the world, but if I ever end up moving back to Belleville, I would not hesitate to lease another unit at St. Clair Village.

I have just left St. Clair Village after 19 years. It was nothing they really did that necessitated the change.Just the need for an apartment without stairs and maybe a bit of a change of scenery.I would definitely recommend St. Clair Village for those looking to find a place to live in the metro east. The location is quiet. It is nicely located out on the east end of Belleville, with a Wal-Mart, Schnucks and Lowes just minutes away. And its not that much farther to Fairview Heights and OFallon. And its perfect if your a Cardinals fan, which is what brought me to the metro-east.Youre 15 minutes from St. Clair Square, where the Redbird Express is ready to whisk you downtown. Youre at Busch Stadium in less than 45 minutes if traffic is moving.Belleville East is just down the street if you have kids in high school.SWIC is the same deal, just in the opposite direction. And the best part for those who are looking at a place to reside in the metro-east, almost all of the townhomes have seen are or seeing a renovation during 2019-20.Give St. Clair Village a shot.

I am teacber, scholar, and believer in Jesus Christ and I walk by a upright character. Much more, I look for that in a people and in the community that reflects a good heart that says love your neighbor and so I have seen that character in Jackie and her adminstration and her employees relationship with the community in Saint Clair Village Apartments. Yes, we all have pressures but we must remember that we are one family and we must love one another. Thats Family!

Never got to live there due to an outrageous new rule by the new management. You can not rent if you own 2 cats or 2 dogs... but you can rent if you have 1 cat and 1 dog... Needless to say the employees at St Clair were awesome but they turned down two Veterinarians looking for a place to live based on the fact we had two cats....

My Fiance and I lived here for 2 years. If I could give this place a zero star I would.Everything seemed to go pretty smooth when we signed the papers. The lady at the time named Jackie was the leasing agent she was really nice.If you do a walk through with her take your time and pay attention to the apartment she will rush you through a quick inspection and write down on her paper nothing is wrong with the apartment.Later that night we started to notice things were not cleaned in the apartment as we were told they did.We were told they needed two weeks to prepare our unit. The fridge was gross and it didnt look wiped out or cleaned from the last people that lived there. There were hairs painted into the walls with the paint job they claimed to do.The paint job wasnt even white it was a yellowish we are 100% sure they are not refreshing the walls with fresh paint as they claim. After two months is when things got bad.Starting with our lower level flooding with water THREE times caused by the main drain being blocked that they claimed to fix every time. When reporting it to 24 hour maintenance phone line Jackie picked up and told my Fiance we shouldnt be doing our laundry on the weekend since everyone else is as well(even though that wasnt the problem).I should mention to watch out since her husband is the manager of maintenance and she is now community manager, so they ALWAYS have each others backs covered. Our heater broke dead winter and we called 24 hour maintenance for them not to pick up or even call back!We had to stay with my mother and the next morning we came home to find it was working but never heard anything from them. Our AC broke in the summer twice. The 1st time the job wasnt done correctly. Our sink had broke in two different places for them to fix half of it and then our kitchen cabinet flooded. So obviously we had to called them out again to fix it.The appliances in the apartments need to be maintain big time. Our bathroom sick and tub always leaks 24/7.They have random inspections all the time to come inside your apartment to supposedly check all of this. But it is never fixed!Im not quite sure what they are doing in the apartment but I know it isnt fixing things. They will also give you zero notice for these inspections. They will drop a notice in our mailbox at 5 pm and be there the next day at 8 am.This is ILLEGAL.They have to give you 48 hours in advance. This isnt the only illegal activity happening here. They have enter in our apartment without telling us multiple times for things we have no idea about. The first time we were all the way in Florida and we found out from a supposed work order we had put in!We called and found out they had went in without our knowing to fix our mailbox that didnt need fixing. After that we made it clear we did not want them in our apartment at all without one of us being there. The second time we were got away on a trip for a few days and found out months later they were in our apartment once again fixing a light bulb on my stove, that didnt need fixing. How would they know this would even need a fixing? They were also illegally signing work orders under my Fiances name when he didnt put any work orders in. If you have pets it is almost easier to say you dont have any. They want $300 down payment when you sign the contract. They will then continue to charge you $20 a month on top of this. They made a new rule if they find dog poop in your yard they will charge you fee even if that isnt your dog or if you dont even have a dog.Forget painting your walls a different color. They allow it but then claim you have to paint them back to white when maintenance is coming in when people move out and paint the walls white as I said before. This is a waste of time and money for us to do.Second it is no where in the contract stating you have to paint your walls white when moving out. They have a pool and gym.Dont let this fool you they make your pay for the gym outside of your of your monthly rent.

Lived here for about 90 days and in the beginning things were great. The person who helped us was amazing. When I first got to my apt it looked like there was pet hair all over the floor and my son is allergic, the kitchen was filthy and there was someones coke and Gatorade bottles left. I didnt get a welcome baskets like the other residents, my back porch light was out and Im one of the only residents with no peep hole. All things I can live with and still would rate these apartments a 5 especially with as beautiful as the updates are. Until recently when there was a rodent inside my wall that eventually made it into my home, multiple that is. The first time I heard the rodent before it made its way into my home I called several times and left vms. Never heard back. The next day I actually saw them and still no contact. Extremely unprofessional! No phone call, no email, not even a damn letter in my mailbox to let me know something. It took me calling Zoning for them to come. They lied and said their phones werent working! How about when matn came, he freaked out! So what does that tell you. I have a 3 year old living here! Ive never been so enraged with anger. If they are so ok with their resident living with a rodent then I bet they wouldnt mind if I took them and followed them home and placed them inside their house!! I wonder how they would like that. It took every ounce of me not to go to the office myself but my husband, because I would of got very unprofessional back!! The issue is still not solved.

My experiences have been pretty similar to others. I am counting the days until I can leave this place. Everything starts of nice. The manager, whose name I will omit, was very kind at first. They seemed like they care and are flexible. We moved in with new flooring and a cleaned town home. There were some things that were bent out of shape a little and you could tell the people before us did not take care of the place. No big deal, we fixed it up a little as we went. One big thing when we signed was the promise of a new front door. The one we moved in with was quite are up. We to this day have not gotten the door. The excuse when mentioned was its my fault for not following up on the door. (Its not my job to ensure you follow up on your promises.)The garbage disposal will clog every time you use it. We were accused of putting rags down into it and trash. We were also insulted by the outsourced maintenance claiming we need to learn how to use a garbage disposal or not using it at all. Keep in mind, we have never had problems with any other disposal. The first maintenance visit we were told it was probably from someone down the line or the people before us. Minor problem, after the insult we decided it wasnt worth the trouble and just stopped using it.Yesterday, the handle of the sink broke off and spewed water everywhere. Emergency maintenance took an hour to get there, but when they did get there they were good. The community is decent with the exception of the occasional college student gathering and the pot heads stinking things up.The single reason we will not be re-signing the lease and the reason I give two stars instead of like 3.5-4 is the manager. I was overwhelmed with school and work (its the beginning of the semester) and didnt get to paying the bill until 2 days after the due date. I was notified I had a late fee while on job training with threat of eviction (keep in mind this is the first time I hear of the late fee). Given our payment history and the failure of the promises we were given I called upset and not inclined to pay the late fee. The manager did not budge, which is ok (on reflection I realize due to the contract Im obligated to pay the 10 percent late fee). Whats not okay was when I told her of the grievances and stated I did not believe my wife and I would resign our lease in light of everything thats happened she quite rudely stated thats fine Ill just replace you and fill the town home with another renter. This tells me they do not care about their community/customers. She was quite rude throughout the conversation and was a perfect example of how not to conduct customer service. We recommended friends to this place, but Im glad the manager revealed who they really are before they went through with it.If you want to be valued, I do not recommend you move here.
