Becky is one of the most compassionate therapists I’ve ever met, even though I don’t understand how the Brainspotting works, I did have got the benefits from it. I strongly recommend her if you want a compassionate therapist to treat your trauma.

Didn’t know what to expect but was eager to try brainspotting. Was questioning if anything was happening during our session but apparently a ton was going on in my subconscious because when we finished I immediately felt a wave of happiness and excitement. It’s fascinating how quickly our minds can make connections and also how easily negative ones can be unmade. I’m blown away at how much of a difference one session made with Becky and will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I experienced something 2 weeks ago that is truly life changing. Its called Brainspotting. Beckys expertise using this technique actually helped me heal a migraine causing issue. Its been 2 weeks and not one sign of another migraine. This is significant as I have had to medicate for chronic migraines for 38 plus years. Being free of migraines now is improving the quality of my life!

Her therapy is quick, direct to the point of trauma, and actually heals. Im amazed at how much we were able to heal in one session. Shes a miracle and an absolute blessing to me.

On Tuesday 6/11/2019 I had a Brainspotting session with my therapist After the first Brainspotting session, I started to make new connections between what happened and how I was feeling and reacting to certain people and situations. I became more mindful of how anxiety and stress revealed itself throughout my body. After my first session, I felt more self-aware and more grounded. I was able to reprocess all of those unhealed memories through a different lens. My reactions towards these memories were revisited and explored from a position where I felt more in control of myself. This made all the difference. I was able to reprocess a childhood memory NOW as an adult. Becky is so compassionate and patient , I have another session due to the amount of Tramua , Stress., and Anxiety that I have. Will update my next session.

Ms. Stidham was referred to one of my siblings by a highly respected psychiatrist affiliated with Methodist Hospital in Houston. He claimed that many of his patients had achieved significant success through her hypnotherapy treatments, which at that point seemed like a Hail, Mary for our family. My sister had struggled with very serious anxiety and depression for well over a decade and had tried every psych drug on the market without a whole lot of success. For anyone who has had that situation in their family, you realize the entire family struggles right along with them. The changes in my sister after working with Ms. Stidham for a very short time were nothing short of miraculous. Her sense of humor returned, which had all but disappeared. To hear her laugh again was a beautiful thing and an answer to so many prayers. For the first time, maybe ever, she seemed really content -- it was like there was a fundamental change in her outlook on life. While we are all still crossing our fingers, she thankfully has not relapsed since the hypnotherapy over a year ago. In this past year I needed some help through some difficulties and, without hesitation, I went to Ms. Stidham expecting the same results. I immediately felt comfortable with her. I have definitely benefited from the hypnotherapy, but I actually get as much out of regular therapy with her which is why I continue to see her periodically. She seems so genuinely happy when you are making progress, and thats motivating to me. And she is not mercenary at all -- from Day One I could tell by some of the things she was saying that she is very results-oriented. The doctor who recommended her alluded to that as well. It almost seems like she judges herself on how efficiently she can get you fixed and on your way. As for hypnotherapy, her specialty, I have to believe she is one of the very best in Houston due to her professional reputation and the results weve had in our family. I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but Im writing this not only to recommend Ms. Stidham but to let others know that hypnotherapy is something you really need to consider as part of your treatment because it can be more powerful than any drug on the market.

It has been a few weeks since my first Brainspotting session with Becky Stidham and I am amazed! I was recently in a situation that would normally trigger a flight or fight response with me; however I am pleased to say I handled the situation very differently. I am happy that I tried this method and would highly recommend to others that are wanting to overcome a troublesome situation in their lives.
