I went through the Intensive Outpatient Program. From the very beginning, the first few people I talked to were incredibly understanding and gentle. You could tell they really cared about their job and spoke to you as if they wouldn’t rather be doing anything else. My initial assessment with Shelly was amazing. She had a very kind smile and was very sympathetic to everything I told her. Once I started the program I learned a multitude of ‘DBT’ Skills and began putting them into practice. My suicidal thoughts decreased heavily throughout the 2 month course. The group leader Nhu-Mai was phenomenal, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to go through the program. Even though I still need further treatment they make sure before you exit the program you have all the resources that you need to help yourself. 1000% would recommend this place.

The group therapist is deeply unprofessional. When I went here, I felt like I couldn’t truly express myself or how I felt. I waited on writing this but I remember in group therapy the therapist admitted with glee how she keeps a record book of people she betted on relapse and was proud she knew that 90%(?) would fail. She was condescending and I don’t understand why she is a therapist when clearly, she had her own issues to work out with herself.I don’t see it as a good sign at all that most members had been there a long time. The director(?) was warm and welcoming but when I tried to get a refund he went cold and corporate on me. Figures. Yeah no this place isn’t a very supportive environment.

Was receiving treatment in Young IOP and while it was helpful, was removed from center by the word of another group member being taken as fact. Im in a worse place than when I began. I do recall hearing this is a safe place to work things out. BS. Prism failed me. But ehh, they got my money right?

Talking about lack of care. I was very interested in going to this facility. Receptionist is friendly, but no one flows up. I had to call everyday to get an update only to get the same excuse for not receiving a call back. A week to the date of my first call I call AGAIN to follow up, only to be connected to another voicemail. Well I get the call back finally. Ready to sign me up but when I question pricing, I’m met with an incredibly high number, and no assistance to pay that? “Sorry your deductible is high” your insurance rate is the EXACT SAME as ours(I have a hard time believing that as I work for the insurance co).” I asked more than once how they could work with me bc surely no one is coughing up $1000/wk for 8 weeks. I was told “but they are”. Ok well thanks so much for being a facility that REALLY wants to help. In a world where people are losing and suffering we continue to suffer for the lack of a true desire to help. I’m glad I dodged a bullet. Sad the state we live in these days. Money talks.

I have been trying to get into contact with both Bellaire Cypress locations. I have been unsuccessful every time I call within their business hours. How do they expect to have patients get a hold of them? If they do not answer their phones at all?

Not sure if this treatment center is effective or not. They didnt return my call and I was unable to speak to a treatment professional. Receptionist was pleasant on the phone, but seemed to be reading from a script when I asked a few questions on behalf of a family member.

I am so grateful to have attended the IOP (intensive outpatient program) here several years ago. The staff is amazing! The environment felt so safe for me to share and feel supported. I have remained in touch with a few friends I met here during group therapy. I loved the treatment approaches and mindfulness/DBT focus. I have carried the skills with me since completing. This program saved me after I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and in dealing with the effects of child sexual abuse and coming out about what had happened to me in childhood. The skills I learned here continue to give me the tools I need daily to manage & overcome the mental health battles I face. Thank you to Bob & Sherry!!!

I completed their IOP program and started their Aftercare program. While I benefited and enjoyed their IOP, I found that the Aftercare program was rather repetitive of the IOP which caused me to quit the program. I also had some issues with the way that their admin managed the office/center. I’m unsure of whether I would recommend them or not.
