Hands down California Carburetor is the best place to go convert your distributor from points and condenser into an electronic one. The man in charge named Tony was very professional and knowledgeable. I had gone to another place to rebuild my carburetor and most of the parts were not even replaced. I appreciate his honesty and good work. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good and honest mechanics. Im going back next week to get some more work done on my 1970 ford maverick...

I purchases a rebuilt quadrajet 8 years ago and ran it for over 3 years and had no issues ran great. Good service and price. Have since switched to efi thanks to holley sniper. I still reccomend people looking for carbs to go here.

Fast reliable service

My car had been running fine. Then one morning it did not start. I left the car at California carburetor co. A couple days later, I went to pick it up. The mechanic told me he put a coil and rebuilt the carburetor. The car started right up but when I tried to accelerate the car bogged down. It did not do that before. I took it back to him and then I was told it could be the transmission. That is when I suspected this guy is just trying to get money from me. I am not that stupid though. Then after I left it to him again he said he thinks it could be a number of things. He said it could be plugs, distributor, plug wires and/or transmission. I paid him 330. bucks for this horrible job. I would never use that place again. Only reason I gave it one star is cause I had to to write this review. If possible I wouldnt give it any stars. I will see them in court and I will make a youtube video on the acceleration and bogging of my car.

Antonio is an amazing mechanic and very affordable, before going to him I’ve been going to Toyota dealership at Cerritos and he has helped me save half the cost I highly recommend him if you are looking for and affordable mechanic.
