I am very grateful to find this shop. Visiting from ND and we had issues with our truck.First shop we took it to claimed to fix the issue,but seemed to do more harm. These guys were able to get us in and quickly diagnosed the issue. Repair was done and we were kept in the loop along the way. I feel confident that we will have no issues driving back to ND. I appreciate that they did not take advantage of our situation and we are able to enjoy the last few days of our vacation.***update**** We made it back to North Dakota with no issues! I brought my car here to have the turbo on my engine replaced. $1100 dollars and less than 3 months later, the turbo goes out again. After getting turbo fixed for a 2nd time the check engine light on my car came on as soon as I pulled off their lot. Another $450 for a thermostat. I get that fixed and the check engine light comes on again before I get home. These clowns had to also fix the thermostat again. This place is a joke. Take your car somewhere else.

Well they havent done any work to my automobile, so I can not give the facility any feed back ,but im sure they do good work reading the reviews so thats why I gave to stars,dont know much about the place because I have never been there.

On Broadway Ave in Bedford, Ohio is a rare find. Over the past few months (July - Sept of 2020) I have been looking for a dealer that would rust proof my 2019 Ford transit van using a product called Fluid Film. Making an appointment for early Tuesday morning and not knowing how long Id have to wait, I was greeted by Frank JR at 8AM. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, taking a look at all the areas of concern, answering all my questions and showing me more effective ways to accomplish Rust Proofing.Frank, a master mechanic, has a way invoking a great deal of trust for his young age. Trust that you can count on! He has the unique ability to explain components, processes and operations down to a level that anyone can understand. His honesty, fair pricing and a genuine desire to help the customer is truly a rare find.At the age of 73, I would highly recommend Bedford Auto Care for anyone needing service work or rust protection for their cars or trucks.

It’s always a bummer when you have car troubles. Luckily my car troubles happened right near Bedford auto care and they were so helpful in being able to find the parts I needed that same day and serviced my car immediately and I was able to get my whip back that same day!! Coming from a mechanic family I am always leery of shops Im not familiar with. I found out that Frank teaches at the local high school so I figured I would give them a try. I normally go to a big chain for my tires, but they were able to get me good tires for a good price, which already included all the little extra charges so I wasnt caught off guard. Was in and out. Didnt have to wait forever like some of the big chains. Had them look at a couple things while they had my van. They are old school mechanics that dont just rely on all the computers to tell them whats wrong. Love these guys!

I prefer to use locally owned businesses and wasnt disappointed when I went to see Frank about a repair. Kept in touch about what was found and got my ok before the work was done. Great work guys!

Recently started bringing my car to them after a friends referral. They did quality work and didnt push me into buying repairs that didnt need to be done immediately. They also offered a loaner car until my vehicle was done.

Love this place. Very honest. Helped me pass echeck without breaking my bank account. Frank Jr. is a stand up guy. They even waited for me to get there after closing because I was stuck in rush hour traffic. Will definitely be back.

I am not pleased with the service or lack thereof that I received from this place. After having my car for 1 week, and over $700 later, my car still wont start. I was told by Angie, that she told me 2 weeks before my car would be ready, when she never voiced this to me. Then to say that she confused my car with another. As if that was not enough, I was told they need another $200 to troubleshoot and that wont get my car running but give an idea if its my power train control/body control module. By all means, if you dont know what the issue is or cant fix it, just say that. The communication lacked. I was constantly calling for updates and all they would say is we were just about to call you. Very unprofessional and if it wasnt for being in the network with my warranty, which didnt cover the expenses anyway¿?? I would have never sent my car there. Good luck anyone else considering work here.

I am a business owner and I hate reviews, I have to deal with them all the time and this is the first time that I have written a review. Bedford auto care is NOT a good place to take your car. A year ago, I brought my car, a BMW 5 series, in for a noise that was coming from the front wheel and took it there to be fixed. They charged me close to $400 and the noise never went away. Last month, I took my car there because It wasn’t turning on. They said that they would have to do some work with the battery and computer communication problems in order to fix it. They sent me a quote for close to $1000 including the oil change. I accepted the quote. They called me back 2 days after to tell me that the engine of my car was completely broke and in order to replace it it would cost 12k. After I had already spent $1000 dollars, then they call me to tell me this ? I was shocked and told them that i was going to take the car somewhere else. I was out of the country at the time and I tried to make a payment over the phone in order to have the car towed somewhere else. Although I had previously made multiple credit card payments over the phone with them ,they now say to me that they do not take payments over the phone because they were not comfortable with it? Lol. I was a costumer of them for a long time and have spent thousands of dollars there. Then after all this i receive a text message stating that the price for me to fix my car it is more than the value of my car, a BMW granted, and their policy is to take only cash as a payment for my $960.64 payment. Oh and the owner also sarcastically added that “he is the policy” after asking them regarding such policy. Only cash? Not card, not check. Only cash? Do they think that I sell drugs to carry $964 dollars in cash? Then they sent me another message saying” whenever you can pay in cash let us know”. Are you kidding me? Do your self a favor and take your money somewhere else.

I take my diesel Ford Excursion to Bedford Auto Care and have had nothing but good experiences. They make sure I know what needs repairs and what can wait. Im glad my friend recommended them.

I would not recommend. My car was at the shop for multiple days, first I was told breaks needed to be done, so i paid over $600 which turned out to be just the rear breaks, they charged $105 for checking and doing nothing to the front breaks which actually needed to be done because they fell apart in 8 months. Definitely not the kind of service I would ever go back to. Should have trusted by gut when I drove off in the car and felt like there was no improvement in the breaks

I went here prior to going to another mechanic. They acted like they did not have time to look at my car, and seemed high priced so I left.

I took my car here to have my engine replaced (timing belt) warranty decided to just replace the engine. After the the engine was put in there were so many other issues. Truck broke down on me decided to go to the dealership, and boi why they found! Leaking power steering, engine leaking oil and transmission leaking for front right wheel. Engine oil leaking cause Cam actuator leak, caused my Serpentine belt to slip. Right drive axle seal leak when they put my engine in they broke the bolts. Dealership currently drilling the bolts out And replacing them and also repair the leak. They called and asked me “who replaced your engine?” Was advise that they cause a lot of damage.Work not covers by my warranty thru silver rock out of pocket for there screw up 1300 bucks. Smh

Avoid this place like the plague!! They will mess up your car 100%. Big time scammers, they definitely mess up other parts of your car so you have to keep coming back.

I used Bedford Auto Care for a pre-purchase inspection of a car I found at a local dealer on the internet. I am from New Jersey. I dealt with Junior. Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic and well worth the price (very reasonable for what you get). Junior was my eyes out in the OH area due to the fact I am from New Jersey. He took the car I was looking to buy and he spent hours on it going over every little detail from the paint to every working mechanical part. Even commented on the depth of the tire tread. His report and opinion enabled me to secure a car and save some serious dollars from the prices in NJ. He did everything I asked for and made me feel very comfortable about buying a car via the internet. Extremely knowledgeable mechanic who gave me all the time I needed to make an educated decision on buying this car. Highly recommend using Bedford Auto Care !!!

Always honest and give you information beyond the repair of the vehicle. Family owned, I trust them with my vehicle and my in-laws even come up from Akron to have their vehicle serviced by them.

Terrible. Took my car in for an inspection because the car was overheating. They found one of two big issues. I noticed the car was still smoking several days after they claimed everything was fine. Months later I notice there was oil in my coolant so I called back to the shop. I was told by Frank that the car could be out of warranty because of the issues they neglected to fix when they had the car to repair. I am currently in the process of filing a lawsuit. I asked for a copy of the reciept and he told me they dont have them there and he could possibly find it. I do have my reciept but they are real hustlers so beware and dont get sweet talked out of your money.

My wife took our car there for a rac job. Immediately afterwards the car rode funny told me it was the sway bar and links. By me going to Ohio technical college I knew that wasnt it and never had that problem before the car went to Bedford Auto. I noticed my Jensen amp was missing a week later and called them and played like they didnt know and told me why didnt I say something then, told them I was waiting for my speakers to come so I know it was in my car. They did the rac job and didnt align the wheels which now its causing the tires to thread on both sides. These guys are thieves and ripped my wife off just like most mechanics do female customers. They website says there are AAA OR a BBB rating or whatever it is its bullshit. Definitely suing them as soon as I find a decent lawyer. Cant keep calling off work to fix their work
