The staff is phenomenal. They are so sweet and caring, but they are going to push you to succeed. It is a big family where everyone comes together, lifts up and supports each other, helps out, goes above and beyond, and instills positive values and life lessons. Cheered with them for ten years, and I loved every minute of it. The athletes are hard working and dedicated. The facilities are top notch, and the value is worth more than its weight in gold. This is the best gym in the world, to me, and is my second home.

My girls have cheered with this program through every level! They have competed 1,2,3,4,5!! We love this gym. This is our second home. The staff and team members become family. The facility is 1st class, 3 spring floors and so many apparatuses to learn new skills. Great location. This gym offers everything for beginners all the way to getting prepared for college! My girls have become better people because of this gym! We wouldn’t cheer any place

My athlete cheers at ODT and I was surprised on Monday to get an email from the owner wanting everyone to post ‘5-star reviews’ for them on Google because it is the time of season people are shopping for a new cheer home and they would be able to add new athletes if everyone posted a positive review. When I looked, I saw the long review that made some really good points and the two 5 star postings from long time employees of the gym. Why are employees posting ‘5 star reviews’? I don’t remember getting this in the past and don’t feel comfortable using my real name because I am afraid of being judged and maybe something happening with placements. Then on Tuesday, the gym sends out an email that a very loved and amazing tumbling coach would ‘no longer be teaching classes or offering private lessons through our business’. I have prepaid for private lessons and my athlete has progressed so much with this coach. The other tumbling coach is creepy and gave strange personal details about his background to my young athlete. What is going on with this gym? Are they going to refund my private lessons? People are shocked and they provided nothing else. There are not a lot of choices in our area for cheer and ODT might be the only option, but now I’m not so sure.

Dan and Tori are well organized business owners and have been a pleasure to work with since we connected in 2014. I admire their holistic approach to youth athletics, offering valuable resources such as social media awareness presentations and mental toughness workshops to their athletes. The ODT staff does a nice job of balancing hard work with fun and laughter.

We love ODT. Leaving our old gym and coming here was a tough decision, but the best decision we ever made. My daughter has grown and flourished, not just as an athlete, but also as a person. They push the kids just enough for them to realize their true potential and support them the whole way. The coaching staff is made up of so many different coaching styles so there is always one that just works perfect for any athlete. I know my daughter would not be where she is or who she is without the support and guidance she has gotten at ODT. It really takes a village to raise a child and this is the best village to have behind you.

A Coaching Problem...If youre on level 4 this gym might be ok.. ..but stay away from level 2. The coach is horrible. They do not care about lower level teams and level 3 is coached by teenagers and level 2 is coached by someone that is only there so her kids can get free cheer. They do not treat their kids equal. Watch out!...ADDED.....Want to add after Dans reply... are you sure your level 2 scored higher at PAC WEST than your level 4 and level 5 team?? I thought your teams scored 98%+ maybe not today.........wait there is always Worlds.... lets score as much as level 2 did today.... :) and level 2 did not win jackets....no win this weekend

Our athlete cheers at ODT and we have had issues with our account being overcharged. It took longer than it should have to get a response from the owner on what happened and get a credit. Backpacks didnt come in at all last season and this season we got them at the very end of the season and they are cheap. Cant be worth the $100 I was charged for it. The gym must have made a huge profit from them. There are some good things about the gym and I like it that the higher level teams do well, but we had issues with our coach and I dont feel like it was taken seriously

Our athlete has been in cheer for a long time, some of that at ODT. There are some great things about this gym. The individual and team camps are fun and exciting. A good bonding experience, the camp is clean and well run. The ODT facility is large, with a spring floor, a dead mat, tumble track and rod floor. Other equipment is all in decent shape. They have opportunities for children with special needs so that is nice. The level 5 team takes high school age boys that have little cheer experience. Works both for the gym, they can have strong boys hold up experienced athletes and the boys get to participate on the highest level team. They have an amazing tumbling coach that was brought from California a few years ago. There are bad things. Their business management needs improvement. We are constantly being billed incorrectly and we are not the only families dealing with overcharges, undercharges, charges for classes that we did not take or things we didn’t buy. Many families removed their credit card and want refunds. If you go to this gym watch your billing each month. Keep your cost sheet and a copy of your contract to refer to later. They will tell you things that aren’t in your contract and you might not get you money back. Uniforms, warm-ups and backpacks never came in or came in so late that it couldn’t really be used for the season. Some athletes were not signed up in time for competitions and had to sit out. They don’t run it well at all and don’t give much information about what is happening.Coaching is a serious problem. If your athlete is on the level 4 and above teams, it will be a good experience. The owner is the coach for those levels and pays more attention to the teams. Make sure to set your expectations low and not become involved, just watch the competitions. Your athlete will have a better time the less time their family spends in the gym. Anything level 3 and below is a mess. One coach does nothing but yell at the athletes. She threatens violence, says mean things and refuses to coach. Over years, families complained and she left many athletes in tears. Nothing has been done to manage that. A new coach who was hired this season had many families and staff telling the owners not to hire her because her reputation is so bad. Three years, three different programs; one she ran into the ground and closed. They said that they needed coaches and they would manage her closely. Her team was a hot mess all year until the gym decided to cross down level 5 athletes and helped her coach. One coach came to a team event drunk and had an inappropriate relationship with another coach at the gym. One is not able to get a coaching certification because of not passing the USASF background check. I don’t think they check their coaches well or have any standards and are desperate for coaches. They also don’t coach with the same set of coaching practices across all teams. If an athlete moves between teams, their experience is way different depending on what that coach’s personality is.Parents can be not all that friendly here either. Many were kicked out of the parent room and practices locked down because the parents would talk bad about each other, the gym the athletes and other children. Parents would threaten that they would pull their kid unless their kid got a certain spot on a certain team and some of the time the coaches allowed it to happen. This made the all the parents not be able to watch because of a bad few. The parents across teams rarely talk to each other, mostly just kept to the families of the team that their athlete is on. There is a bit of favoritism happening even though they swear by their tumbling rubric. It still comes down to what parent makes more noise not what builds the best teams, score sheet or what the athletes skills are.Not sure I would send my athlete back to ODT unless I knew the placement would be level 4 or higher. It’s sad because there aren’t many options in Oregon. If one of the mega gyms like Cali All Stars moved in the area or another good program ODT wouldn’t last.

I went here for 8 months. I did stunting privates and tumbling privates. The stunting privates were amazing! I learned so much and had a lot of fun(: However, in my tumbling privates I didnt learn a single thing. I later come to find out that my coach was actually scared to spot fulls and thats why he always avoided working with me on them. I learned more things when I went to open gym and tumbled with my stunting coach😳

Oregon Dream Teams is the ONLY place I will take my daughters for all star cheerleading despite having an hour commute to get there for practices! Their coaching staff is excellent and the gym management is excellent. My daughters have gained new skills every year they have been members of the gym. ODT is like family to us. We love it!

If your daughter is looking and wanting the all-star cheerleading experience, then ODT is one of the best in the state of Oregon. The coaching staff is well qualified, personable and organized. They do their best to foster hard work, camaraderie and personal excellence for each athlete and every level team. The owners/managers are enthusiastic and dedicated. Some cheerleading gyms have a fly by night reputation but not ODT. There are well established and well regarded in Oregon and the Northwest region.
