My maid of honor reached out to Wendy to get my wedding dress altered.She was professional, polite, follows covid safety recommendations, and above all else, did a phenomenal job!She added a 5 point bustle to my dress, and 3 points to the slip underneath, shortened up the straps for me, and hemmed it about 6” up on my all lace dress!Really exceeded my expectations considering I wanted so much done on an intricate material.I will definitely be coming back to Wendy for and more alterations I may need in the future!

At first I was a little skeptical but Alterations Unlimited is AWESOME! I had some work done on a very nice leather jacket and I couldnt have asked for better -- seriously the quality of work far exceeded any expectations I may have had. Did an amazing job of repairing my carhartt overalls after I had to have them cut off by paramedics after an accident. They look nearly brand new again and should hold up well!

I couldnt believe I found a place that could repair a weighted vest, and the seams make it look as good as new! She did a great job and the price was better than I had anticipated!!

I originally went with this place because of the 4 I called to I was quoted a cheaper price (she asked about the length of zipper I needed replaced between 3 articles of clothing and then quoted me based on length) but when I came in the price ended up higher, matching other places I had checked, went with it anyways since I was already there and got overall good quality replacements I am happy with (expect a 2week+ wait/pickup though) some places said it would be 2-3 days unless they needed to order something

Such a great place! When you drive up, its not much to look at from the outside - its in a tiny little park with a neon sign in the front window. When you walk in, youre greeted by the seamstress and her little dog, who is a cute little friendly fluff ball. No, the place isnt big (in fact, its very, very small), and no, its not fancy, but I believe that work should speak for itself.I came by with a dress that I needed turned into an A-line skirt, so this was quite a job - the top had to be cut away, the zipper removed and replaced, and the remaining fabric tailored to the curve of my hips and waist for a proper fit. She eyed me up with the dress on and then pinned it after she removed it. When I tried it back on with the pins, the measurements were perfect - I was literally astounded that she could do that OFF the body. She told me shed been doing this now for more than two decades. When I picked the new skirt up two weeks later, it fit *flawlessly.* Its a custom piece, and its beautiful.When you go to a tailor, youre investing more money into your clothing - a bad tailor will flush that money down the drain with poor skills. If youre looking for the best, youve found her. SUPER friendly and professional, and incredibly skilled - I highly recommend going here!

Replaced jacket zipper by Wendy who charged $59.00. And took 2weeks and horrible job ruining new jacket. Incompetent! And not truthful about the sewing work that was done.

Im so glad I found this place. Now I have a go to place for all my alteration needs. I needed some sofa arm rest protectors made from the extra fabric we got from the factory. I have her the measurements and explained what I needed. She was able to give me a good price for it and it came out great! Next time Im bringing all my pants that need gemming. Very nice lady who does really good work, for fair prices. Highly recommend.

Wendy took an impossible job and made my daughters prom dress fit beautifully. We were really nervous and knew that it would be a tremendous job considering how much needed to be fitted properly. We gave Wendy some time to work with an A-line vintage covered in lace, and are very happy with the results. My daughter is so excited to have the dress of her dreams to celebrate with her friends.

We ordered a dress online for homecoming and it was too large in several places. We needed someone last minute. She was very friendly and was able to complete the alterations and ended up re-beading the dress. It fit perfect!!! Definitely would recommend and we will reuse her whenever we need something.

I am beyond pleased and SO thankful for all the time and care Wendy took with making my La Sposa Spanish Lace wedding gown, it is meticulously PERFECT! This wedding gown is incredibly intricate and the alterations required needed absolute precision and care. There are several different layers of Lace with Beading and scalloped detail, Wendy had to re-hand and stitch the lace of each layer, shorten the length and re-affix the lace. The gown also has a long train and needed to be taken in on the sides for a perfect fit. Wendy not only accomplished the heavy task at hand, she went above and beyond in a short time frame. I can feel the care she took with this beautiful gown. I am SO thankful we chose Alternations Unlimited and Wendy for my most special Wedding Dress and will be gladly referring everyone in need of alterations to her shop. Thanks again Wendy!

She graciously agreed to redo the dress for me within a week of my wedding and it was perfect.BE CAREFUL.. and make sure you are at Wendys Alterations Unlimited and not the other alterations, cleaner near by. Unfortunately, she got the wrong date to have my bridesmaid dress ready. However, she was so kind as to to do it quickly and have her (?) husband drive to my house. The dress was actually still too big, and required further alterations (which luckily a friend of mine was able to perform).Another point I would add was that it was a little uncomfortable having my dress unzipped and having my back exposed in the front room with the street window as she was making adjustments (and husband walked through the door at the time).

Dont let the size of the shop fool you! Though its set in a small building, they are in no way less skilled. I needed my wedding dress shortened and a panel added to the back corset section, and you cant even tell the difference from the original. The work was completed and ready for pick up on the agreed upon date, about one month, in prom season! Communication is just a little difficult, due to language barriers, but easy enough if youre patient. Any future alterations I need will be taken here!

We needed some shirts taken up and called last minute, the dynamic duo were so very helpful and took us in and fixed three shirts needed done. Very pleased with the service!!!

How much does it cost? Ill probably rate it a 4 because of how good everyone says it is. And may they do jogger pants with the elastic cuff?

Thank you, Wendy, for working your magic on the zipper of my overcoat. Rather than a costly replacement of the full zipper, Wendy was able to remove and replace just the zipper head and finish the job in less than 10 minutes. Ill definitely be back. Thank you for saving me time and money!

Had my jacket for over a month and didnt touch it. I go to pick it up on the day she said it would be ready and she hasnt done a thing to it... In over a month! Then she tells me she can get it done in five hours. You shouldnt need 38 days to do a job that takes less than five hours. She also told me she was closed for a week, but I drive by her shop on my way home every day and it was open every day. If you need your work done in a timely manor go somewhere else.

Took my wedding dress here and paid 685$ to have it completely ruined. She cut it right down the sweetheart neckline and added a 6 inch seam. Don’t go here, had to get a new dress and pay rush order and couldn’t get the same one because of time.

Needed a last minute hem for Vegas and these guys got the job done with zero notice and 20 minutes to get it done!! Im so thankfull!!! These guys get the job done right and get it done fast! Thanks again!

Wendy was wonderful and continues to be our go to seamstress. She made my wedding gown perfect!!!!

She straight up lied and did not do any of the work she claimed to do on an alteration, then she expertly leveraged her supposed language barrier to blame this all on the conversation she originally had with me. She is an expert at deception and misdirection and conning people into feeling obliged to part with exorbitant amounts of money. I recommend getting two or more 2nd opinions before considering her service, and do not leave a garment there unless you are committed to trusting her. There will be no going back if you do.
