This review is long overdue... Elite Home AV is worth writing one. If you’re looking for a local and honest TV / Audio specialist, Spencer is definitely the right choice for that. He is easy to contact, punctual, friendly, professional and very informative. His prices are straight forward. He is able to accommodate last minute appointments. He took all the necessary precautions related to Covid-19.Two TVs were installed in our house (55’ & 65’). He took the time measuring the walls and placing the TVs where we exactly wanted them. He went above and beyond by offering to hide the cables for free. It did make a huge difference and made it all look amazing.I highly recommend Elite Home AV - efficient, knowledgeable and offers reasonable rates! Thank you Spencer!

Elite Home A/V did a great job installing and setting up the equipment for our movie room. We installed a large format screen, laser projector and in wall/ ceiling 7 channel surround sound system. Great friendly service, professional while providing the best equipment set up for your budget and space. Its been nice being able to enjoy movies the way they were meant to be watched while were stuck indoors due to the pandemic. Cant wait to have friends and family over for movie nights!

I see why Spencer has so many 5-star reviews! Spoke with him numerous times over a 3-week period flushing out technical details before deciding to go with him. I had speakers picked out but Spencer recommended I consider his Episode speakers instead. I took a risk and went with his recommendation ... so glad I listened to him! Purchased the speakers + his services to mount 2 TVs and setup a 7:1 system. I let Spencer determine placement of the in-wall/in-ceiling speakers and he completed the install in less than a day. WOW did he do a GREAT JOB! Spencer really knows his craft, is a true sound artist and if you give him some leeway hell produce a SPECTACULAR system for you! I HIGHLY recommend Spencer!

We have a complicated multi-component AV system that had been installed incorrectly and didn’t have sound to some components and was glitchy and malfunctioning regularly. Spencer fixed it in less than an hour (!), and even did some extra work, including teaching me how to listen to Spotify directly through our receiver so I don’t have to use the universal remote and can control the volume and music through my phone. His prices are very reasonable, even though he had to travel all the way from Beaverton to NE Portland, and he is extremely knowledgeable about both old parts of the system (DVD/VHS player, turntable and CD player) as well as our new/modern equipment. He wore a mask the whole time he was here and used hand sanitizer too. Can’t praise him enough- I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Spencer was awesome! Due to some wiring issues in the house, there was some unexpected troubleshooting that needed to happen and he figured it all out, spent extra time and didn’t charge me extra for it. All that to say, he’s very knowledgeable and I have now have a go-to guy for all of my sound system needs. Highly recommend!

I have a difficult time believing anyone would give Spencer less than a 5 star review. He was responsive; his prices were fair; he listened to what I wanted; and he worked around my schedule.Spencer took the time to explain a range of options that were available to me. This wasnt an up-sell. He was basically educating me on what was possible at different price points. He also matched the price of an item I wanted and was going to purchase from a vendor online (I prefer giving my money to the people I hire rather than some faceless corp. whenever possible). But Spencer also had no issue installing other items that I bought after discussing my options with him. As far as I am concerned, that is excellent customer service.When I do another project, I plan to hire him again.

Decided that I wanted my LG 65 inch OLED mounted on my viewing wall in the living room of my apartment.Looked around the web for installers and decide on Spencer due to his 5 star rating. I also had a brand new audio system ready to install. After talking to Spenser, we agreed on a price for the in wall install, and he said he could help me get up and running sound wise included in the price. No brainer, huh? Short story, he made quick work of the TV,then set up my entire 5.1 sound system, tuned it for me and ran me through the menus and settings. The job turned out awesome, I am thrilled with the results.Great work Spencer, and the price was right!!

The team from Elite Home Audio Visual was professional, courteous, fun to have in the house, and did a great job mounting our TV. We were told by several national installers that they could not install our 55” TV above our fireplace on Ceramic Tile. We contacted Spencer and he said he could handle it no problem, it only took an hour and was cheaper than the National guys.

We had one small issue with an adjustment, but Spencer came right out and instructed us how to fix. I will recommend Elite to all of my friends and family.

Found Spencer, owner of Elite Home AV, by chance using Google search and it proved to be a very good move on my part.Spencer got back to me almost immediately, even though my problem started in the evening hours and was very helpful when we spoke via telephone, even doing a little bit of trouble shooting before I decid3d to have him come out to my home.Spence arrived promptly and was friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix a pretty complex issue with my AV receiver/TV/DVR interface, got everything up and running and also installed 2 new BluRay players at my request.He then provided me with a thorough check out on the new BluRay players, introduced me to some new features Inwas not aware of and even fixed some issues I’d been having with a new Harmony remote that I’d bought a couple of months ago.I’d highly recommend his services to anyone requiring help with their electronics, AV theater, etc., and besides that he’s a nice chap to visit with!Tony Passannante
