I lived here for two years and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Blanton street acts a RV parking where drug dealers and the homeless live. The apartment below me had SWAT break down the door. A standoff with a hit and run driver happend the 1st month I was there. People who dont live there are always dumping garage in our bins and homeless go through it daily. They allow a family to keep there broken down cars in the guest parking taking up one entire row while they string extension cords and air lines across the road working on them. When it was time for me to move I had the place cleaned in hopes if getting most of my deposit back. I re textured, painted and did more than most and I ended up owing. I payed in advance, had a $200 credit each month and this is what they do to you Dont move here.

Been here 4 years stuff breaks quick (a year quick) hella mold grows on the wall. Some of the people in the office you can tell by the way they treat other isnt equal. Also if your dyer or washer go out be ready to wait awhile for a different one , A long while. Some of the maintenance workers are nice. Only reason for one star.

Ive been at this place for three years 2017-2020, and weve always loved it. They are very professional, always quick to respond, and they dont jack the rent up every time you sign a new lease. There is very little extra parking if you have more than 1 car, but that is the only down side I can think of. They are very low priced for having everything you could ask for in an apartment, plus access to a pool and gym. Score!

I have nothing but good things to say about living at St. Mary’s Wood Apartments. From the moment we moved in to this day, which is 10 months later, they have provided, courteous, efficient and prompt service. Upon move in our apartment was clean, though the carpet had a few old stains in it, it had been steamed cleaned and everything else was spotless. I’ve had to call maintenance over the 10 months for minor things like smoke detector beeping and running toilets. Appointments are always prompt and efficient. We don’t allow shoes to be worn in our apartment and all the maintenance men have been understanding and courteous about putting on shoe covers. The smoking policy is very important to me and taken seriously by management. I had a couple of incidences with cigarette smoke coming in my apartment and management immediately remedied the situation.Additionally, the grounds are kept clean and well manicured and free of trash. The noise level is also surprisingly low. Living in close proximity to so many different people, of varying ages, genders and cultures can sometimes be a bit much. No place with this many people is perfect. However, we have had no problems of any kind at all. We have truly enjoyed making St. Mary’s Woods Apartments our home and hope to remain here for a few more years.

I’ve lived in these apartments for almost 4 years and in all that time my rent only went up by $25. With the area we live in there’s a lot of development going on and a lot of people moving into this area of Portland. So the fact that over all this time my rent only went up $25 is great and that’s already worth 5/5.Maintenance is quick to respond to a request and the website allows you to enter a good amount of info to communicate with maintenance. One of the cons is that over time the floors can start to make noisy but the floors can be fixed periodically after move outs. Unfortunately I’ve asked before and I believe they said they only fix it after I’ve moved out because it entails pulling up the carpet.Another con of mainly the location itself. The main road is a public road so their are always a lot of cars parked on the side and since the apartment complex is located on a slight turn it can be very difficult to see if cars are coming when trying to leave. I haven’t seen any accidents in 4 yrs so most of the tenants are careful. The pool and weight room are great and clean however the pool is popular so it can be crowded a lot of the time.I’ve never had any issues with this place since moving here and I’ve lived in apartments most of my life. So compared to all those, this one is a favorite.

I have had such a positive experience in my year of residency at Saint Marys Woods apartments. My One bed one bath apartment has a window that I get to watch the sun set from every night. The staff have always been extremely kind and helpful when I had questioned. They even coached me on how to get rid of some unruly roommates! They were even understanding when I was having a financial crisis and allowed me to sign a payment plan for that month. I am happily renewing my lease for another year to come and envision living here for many more years to come. They also have a surprisingly inclusive pet policy and allow many pets that I was not expecting! The hot tub is one of my absolute favorite ways to spend the evenings after it gets dark. Service requests have always been taken care of within twenty four hours of my making a request. A+++ experience so far.

Went to tour a apartment. Staff was rude, informed they raise rates from a 3rd party company, and have no explanation for how they adjust rates aside from “we study the market.” Rates literally raised within 3 days of viewing it online because “we’ve been able to rent them” according to the agent who seemed to know little about anything relevant. In addition the response to complaints about washer/dryer etc their response was simply “to each their own.” Beyond unprofessional, this company does not deserve to be in business. Don’t waste your time with this shady company

First time resident in a large apartment complex. The unit is smaller than my previous one but the full size wash machine makes up for it. My two cats love all the windows but they cant go out and enjoy the balcony because were on the first floor now. Everything was brand new when I moved in. The only thing that keeps it from being homey is the rule against any nails or screws in the walls, not even adhesives. None of my pictures are up so it still feels like an AirB&B. The smaller kitchen actually makes cooking and cleaning a breeze, although entertaining is limited because of the small space. I love the clean and tidy landscape, and the prompt and helpful maintenance people. Its been a good six months so far.

The amount they charge here is outrageous. Everything is cheaply made in the apartment. From counters to cabinets that were here for years. The floors creek and the neighbors always complain about people walking which doesnt bother me because I know this is an apartment not a house but others cant seem to understand. I feel like I pay to much for nothing. On top of that they charge my kids adult prices for water sewer and garbage on there own rate. Im barely home since I work crazy hours and my kids are always with family while we work so it doesnt make sence that our water bill is 80 bucks a month. We are barely home. I feel like moving here was a mistake since its not cheap at all and we pay 2 times as much or nothing. Just in utilities alone are 140 bucks. I felt like I paid the same amount for better quality and they were brand new apartment.

Kids get rowdy in the pool but thats about it..but its summer and im glad the pool is there. It is nice being able to jump in when it is hot. The gym is small but honestly its all you need, it is rarely ever crowded so its more personal. I love having access to the movie rentals, they are always putting out new movies, and its free. Makes movie night fun. The staff have been nothing but helpful every time I ask a question. I hope things always progress positively...I would like to stay a while. Thanks

To sum this place up:1) Blanton Street looks like a pick and pull lot and it is IMPOSSIBLE to see oncoming traffic. If you want to risk getting hit every time you leave the complex, sign a lease with them. You can live next to the people in campers, trailers, and semis that make Blanton Street their home. Id make sure and lock your car doors.2) The complex is filled with unruly kids whose inattentive parents have no regard whatsoever for anyone who likes peace and quiet. They constantly play UNATTENDED in the street and dart out in front of cars. Accident waiting to happen, management.3) MOLD, MOLD, MOLD. Yes, it is common in this area, but not as common as at St. Marys Woods! It is EVERYWHERE. Windowsills, closets, etc and impossible to get rid of, even with Damp-Rid.4) Overpriced for what you get. Sure, you get a washer and dryer in the unit, but thats about it.5) Pool? Yeah...I wouldnt use it. When it IS open, its filled with, again, unruly kids. It would be nice if they had designated adult swim, but then again I dont think I want to swim in piss water.3) The apartment stairwells have been disgusting since I moved in almost 2 years ago. Spider webs, dust, dirt, etc. Oh and slippery ice, since management didnt consider that a safety hazard during the snow storm. Then, the management decides that everything needs pressure washing and the guys pressure wash all the dirt onto my car, which I just washed THAT DAY. So nice of them!

I’ve lived here for almost 6 years and have had a pretty good experience, but there are some issues that have come up over the last couple years:1. The first two issues are with the vendors (lawn maintenance, carpet cleaner). As far as lawn maintenance goes, I asked the office to let them know about a sprinkler head that’s slowly leaking into the parking lot (that was a couple years ago). Nothing was done so I called again about a month ago. I waited 2 weeks and called again when it still wasn’t fixed. I came home from work today and can see that they attempted to fix it but it’s still leaking (it’s actually worse now). It’s probably affecting our water bill and I REALLY hate seeing all of that water being wasted. I also asked them to have the lawn guys spread grass seed on the bald spots on the lawn and it took them years to finally do it. And it’s still not completely done. The grass is also brown so it seems like the sprinklers aren’t working correctly2. My issue with the carpet cleaner is that he’s extremely unreliable. I was told to contact him directly, and the first time we scheduled, I had to reschedule because I ended up having to work that day. The second time I scheduled it, I had moved my furniture and vacuumed my carpet, but he called and said his van wasn’t working so we rescheduled for the following week. I moved my furniture and vacuumed my carpet (again) and the guy never showed up. He didn’t even call me to cancel or return my calls. I called the office to let them know and they were finally able to reach him. He said that he didn’t have his van that day so once again, we had to reschedule. But this time, the office called and said he would be here a certain day and that I couldn’t pick a time for him to clean my carpet. It would have been between the hours of 9am-4pm but I had to work that day, plus my son would have been home by himself (he’s 11). So I still haven’t had my carpet cleaned and I’m not too happy about it. I’m also hesitant to reschedule with the same guy because he’s so flaky and unreliable.3. And finally, the biggest issue: Parking. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come home to find someone parked in my space. I actually had to have someone towed because it kept happening. I felt sooo bad, but I felt it was necessary. I called the office and asked if they can put up more signs that say “you can only park in numbered spaces if you’re a resident.” But I was told that it’s a corporate issue. And they can’t just put up signs without approval. Which seems ridiculous. There are some very small signs at the entrances that nobody seems to see. Why can’t we have better signs that are actually in the parking lot?Overall, we’ve really enjoyed living here and feel like we’re part of a great community. We’ve had some issues but I hope that the owner responds and is able to fix some of the problems we’ve had

They also let the little dog bark out the front window until they came home at 11:30 pm. Staff told to call their security if we have an issues, and never, never call the police of we have a noise complaint. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Any furniture that is placed against the outside wall lacks enough ventilation to prevent the black mold from developing. Right behind the headboard, yuck. In the closets, yuck. Behind the dresser, yuck.Oh I did take my noise complaints straight to the management. And I was told by the management that I just didnt my upstairs neighbors.

Starting with the positive, the staff is very kind and any time we placed a work order the guys came in quickly and were also very nice.Other than that, there are no positives to living here. Biggest issue is the mold. It grows around the windows, around doors, in the closest, on the walls, on clothes, pillows and mattresses, and somehow in the corners of the ceiling. We had to throw away most of our shoes and clothing we kept in the closets and any wood furniture because it was covered in mold. The ventilation in the bathroom is ridiculous. There was always water on the ground and on the toilet, even with wiping it up with a towel twice daily. We were given wrong information twice when it came to costs and ended up getting overcharged both times. We went to the office and tried to speak to someone about getting overcharged for something that wasnt our fault and never got any response at all about it. The only reason we moved to this particular apartment was because of how cheap it was. Towards the end of our lease they wanted to raise our rent by almost $300 a month.Blanton Street is covered in semis 24/7. Basically every day I had to pull onto the street my view was blocked by cars and semis. I literally just had to hope someone wasnt coming up the road and just go for it.We had cops on the road at least once a month. One time they were going up to everyone outside and checking IDs because they were looking for someone. Just yesterday 2 guys jumped another guy and were beating him right as all the children were coming home from school. 6 cops ended up getting involved. There were a lot of other minor problems with our appliances and the actual apartment itself. If you move here, just be prepared to clean your window sills, door frames, closests, wood furniture, and bathrooms at least twice daily. Or youll be forced to deal with a serious mold problem.

From the very beginning this apartment has been a living hell. Move-in day, we got there with all our stuff and they told us they hadn’t cleaned the apartment and we were not allowed to move in until the next day, however even then, they said it still wouldn’t be completely cleaned out. Although this was THEIR mistake we still had to pay to stay in a hotel for the night followed by moving into a dirty apartment the next day. The asst. manager (the blonde lady) was extremely rude to us, basically shrugging her shoulders and did not once even apologize. She seemed more annoyed with us than we were with her and copped an attitude several time. Because of the staffs mistake, we no longer had movers the next day to help us and as two very petite woman, we had to move all our furniture on our own from across the parking lot.Now to the conditions of the apartment itself, it is absolutely disgusting. I’ve gotten incredibly sick due to the black mold that they so obviously painted over in order to fool future tenants. The windows are not sealed and they are always soaking wet during the fall/winter/spring seasons. The toilets leak so bad to the point of the floor being nearly covered in toilet water puddles. And this is after calling maintance to fix them twice now.The kitchen appliances are extremely outdated so if you’re looking at the pictures on their ads, I can almost guarantee you they are fake and you will be majorly disappointed. One day as I was walking in to my apartment (bottom floor) a chunk of the roof outside literally fell on my head so hard I had a bruise and a doctors appointment to make sure I didn’t have a concussion. And after calling them to tell them about the incident I was not surprised that they didn’t say sorry nor seemed to care at all and just simply stated they’d fix it within a couple days. The walls are paper thin. I can literally hear the guy above me snoring from my bedroom as though he’s next to me. I can hear them vacuuming, walking, talking.Seriously, don’t live here.

St. Marys Woods Apartment management sent me this survey to complete because they value my opinion. Well, my experience here has been awful from the moment I moved in until I received a non-renewal notice to move out. I have lived here for almost 4 years (3 yrs and 11 months). Ive spent approximately $90,000 in rents and utilities (water, sewer, and garbage) They are displacing my family, so they can upgrade my unit and rent it for more money. My family is in crisis. My daughter has 1 year left to graduate from high school. My 14 year old dog (who has been charged $25 per month rent) is sick, aging, and experiencing dementia and will likely have to be put to sleep due to the stress that moving is having on her. The management team is rude, ruthless, demeaning, relentless, and cruel. It was not worth the time, money, stress, tears, or disappointment that my family and I have experienced in the last 4 years. Go find a property that cares about their residents because this one does not. **Owner: Thank you for your response to my review. Unfortunately, I have contacted the CTL Property Management Representative, Len, and he refused to return my messages. He had the property manager reach out to me instead. I involved him in this situation within the first 6 months of residing here. He, too, has been rude and unresponsive to my concerns.

Outdated, rundown, and poorly maintained. The manager and asst. manager are completely inept. The gutters were not cleaned before the heavy winter rain and water backed up into my unit causing the sheet rock to mold. The saturated section was not replaced, yet as part of the lease agreement, you must agree not to have more than three house plants to prevent mold. The toilet was not properly installed and leaked over time saturating the sub floor, requiring the sub floor and vinyl flooring to be replaced. The toilet water also seeped between units and damaged the ceiling of the downstairs apartment. The washer and dryer were so small and cheap that I used a commercial laundry facility. As stated in other posts, the cost to heat is quite high. The road to the complex (SW Blanton St) is lined with cars, RVs, 18-wheel tractor trailer, and people living out of their vehicles. Ive also seen people spending the night in their vehicles inside the complex. I was told during move out inspection my unit was military clean yet they charged $40 to clean the dust off the light, not to mention the $50 for carpet cleaning even after I had to clean up the messes from their workers for repairs I didnt cause. The asst. manager stated my deposit would be mailed in a approx. one week. Its now been 30 days and no sign of the check. I moved in from out of state before seeing the unit. Look around the area, there are many other complexes that are much nicer with a more competent and professional management staff.

The previous tenants had a pet and they didnt do a pet deposit but when I took over I went through and did it correctly but they dont appreciate honesty it seems they look for every possible option to charge you. We made sure that apartment was in better condition than we got it, still got slapped pretty hard. We went through and CLEANED that apartment. JUST DONT MOVE HERE YOU WILL HATE IT!! If You want to know why, OK here it is: In the short time Ive lived in this horrible place my rent went up by almost $300 a month. I only renewed my contract because I needed to move in winter and couldnt find anything during that time. Problems: First there is no insulation so you can hear EVERYTHING and I MEAN EVERYTHING! The walls are so thing you can here the sound of your neighbors light switch being turned on and off. The whole apartment leans about 2-3 degrees to the right so the foundation is bad. There is mold and rust through out the apartment, When you call the office to complain about the mold and rust they tell you that you have to keep your windows and patio door open 2 hrs EVERY day EVEN during cold winter days. The apartments are very cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer, so expect a high electric bill. They refuse to do anything! The windows and patio door are not sealed so they sweat and are covered in mold. I have to bleach them every couple of weeks to keep the mold down. Even the front door is covered in mold. When I called to complain about my carpet was literately coming apart at the seam they told me to stop vacuuming. Because of these on going issues and my many complaints with no results, I called the Building Bureau, they were so helpful. If there is mold in the walls and/or if mold is growing in the window cells due to them not being sealed properly, the apartment is liable for damages. So take picture when your windows and patio door sweats. Document any mold that is growing especially in the walls. Make sure they dont push you through the walk through. Anyone moving in or out take lots and lots of pictures. And FYI they cannot charge you for carpet if it passed the expected time of life. And you have the legal right to ask for proof when the carpet was bought. If they refuse to show you proof, then they legally cannot charge you. If you have questions I recommend you call the Beaverton Building Bureau they can answer any questions,

If you live on the ground floor they will hold you to a higher standard than they do the other tenants. They come around and take pictures of your porch and send them to you, shaming you into removing things they deem unaccaptable, even though the porch is only visible since the ground floor doesnt have a railing like the others do. Not to mention there is constantly maintenance outside, especially in the summer months, so its very noisy at all times of day. With no central air this means you either sleep with your windows closed, and roast in the heat, or get woken up by leaf blowers and lawn mowers all of the time. There also seems to be a mold issue on the ground floor, that they appear to have painted over. Overall it wouldnt be that bad of a place to live if they didnt charge you far more than its worth to live here, and didnt treat tenants like criminals that theyre waiting to catch for not having authorized porch items.

I lived here for 2 years and had mostly a pleasent experience. Their prices are reasonable, and the units include a carport space at no extra cost. We did have a minor mold problem but nothing that couldnt easily be taken care of. I was also very impressed by their large selection of rental DVDs. And maintenance offers exceptional service. They always responded no longer than a day after receiving the request. As for the apartments themselves, the living room is large and spacious with vaulted ceilings on the third floor. And there is a large amount of storage available on the balcony. However, the alley way kitchen is very small and makes cooking difficult due to limited counter space. As for complaints, The office staff arent the nicest of people Ive met, but then again what leasing staff are? And in the two years I lived there, management arranged for what seemed to be alot of unnecessary painting and upgrading. While I understand wanting to upkeep appearances, this caused for six months of inconvenience for the residents. My reason for moving out was due to needing a bigger place (larger master bedroom, walk-in closet, and open kitchen) and their pet policy. Dont get me wrong, they are very open to several types of animals. However, a macaw is not on their allowable pet list which is understandable given the macaws reputation.Upon moving out, the provided me with a list of what they expected for cleaning. We followed that list to a T and got a good chunk of our deposit back. We were told what would get deducted from the deposit and what it was for. And they took out just that. No more...no less. If it werent for my other needs, I would have stayed here longer. But I definitely recommend this place and hope your experience was as pleasant as mine.

The office is a disaster, they always misplace important documentation and then blame it on the tenants. The pool is non heated and therefore very cold although it looks very nice. The place is unmanageable due to its large size and the thousands of people living there, most of whom are probably not even listed on the leases. They also raise the rent every year. Unfortunately because of the poor management and not enforcing the leases to prevent gross over occupancy of apartments, I would suggest avoiding it if you are able to or at least have a good lawyer when they cheat you out of your deposit or whatever they plan to do to you no matter how good a tenant you were. They do not act in good faith and the office is not trustworthy and that can really hurt you financially if you are not taking every precaution like demanding receipts for every office transaction.

If I could give them no stars I would!!! I just started reading the reviews and all I see is management saying they are sorry and talking about community that I have yet to see while they line their pockets with my hard earned money. The one star reviews are correct, the mold, ants, and the staffs false promises. I will disagree though that the maintenance staff is awesome they have always come and fixed our issues right away and they are doing a great job that is about the ONLY good thing about this place!!! The children here are TERRIBLE and the staff does nothing to make it better. I have had my car vandalized as well as other neighbors all because children play in the street next to the cars. I have told the office 4 times now and nothing has changed, in fact it has gotten worse. This place acts like they care and like they want to help you but as long as you pay your rent they dont care!!! It might be cheap when you move into these luxury apartments but one thing for sure is they are far from luxury unless you have lived in a 3rd world country. The train does pass close to some of the places but it doesnt bother me! The windows are soooooo thin and the mold is out of control. I have lived in Mexico for a year and they live in better conditions then this!!! The way they handle things here you would think that it was their first time handling anything. I would NEVER rent from here again!!! The lack of respect and humanity amazes me!!! When I first moved in there, their were no issues and 6 months later a car was lit on fire at 2 am and since this issue, crime has increased and the police are here quite frequently. While you may think its a good thing its not because I come home after a LONG day at work and wonder if my place was broken into! It is mind boggling to me that this place is still even open for business you can bet that the BBB will be hearing about this.Children lack respect and dicipline. They are left unattended and this would be a child molesters paradise!!! I have nothing against children, I am a nanny and my cares (while they may be young) still know right from wrong. I just cant get over how they can allow THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of damage be done to cars and the situation has remained the same.!!!DONT LIVE HERE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

I have lived in these apartments for almost two years and all I can say is nothing has gotten better, only worse. I wrote a review about a year ago stating the same stuff and nothing has changed. There truly is nothing good about living here. The only thing I mentioned last time that was good was the big pool but since that pool is always full of foul mouth kids and no parents, that appeal is now gone too. I do not recommend anyone moving in here.. And here is why I am a little upset..Recently we had a huge snow storm and the whole town shut down, understandable. But this is the first apartment I have EVER lived in that did nothing for their residents to help with the bad weather. No de-icer on the stairs, no shoveling for us, nothing.. But the maintenance guys DID shovel their area. They made sure their carts can get in and out of their garages but NOTHING for the residents that pay OVER $1200 a month for a crappy, cold, old apartment. Where does that money go? Obviously not towards helping the apartments. It is so disappointing to know that the office really does nothing. That is safety issue #1.#2: While I dont mind the idea of having a food truck coming to our apartments every now and again, the staff has decided it is okay to set up this food truck in the WORST spot ever. The corner they decided to put the truck is already dangerous because you cannot see pulling out or in because of semi trucks lining the main road.. Why have pedestrians walking and eating where it is already overcrowded??? Obviously again, safety is not their main concern. While the apartments say they cannot do anything about the semi trucks on the public road it is obvious those people live here and I have seen the maintenance guys down talking with the truck owners, probably friends..#3: Dear Office: PLEASE CLEAN THE WEIGHT ROOM!! That place is disgusting. The garbage is always overflowing, there is food and junk everywhere and the floor is a sticky, dusty mess. Why has nothing been done to solve this? Clean the floor! Every machine is lined with dust and grim. I dont even want to stretch in there because it is so nasty. This is not the first time it has been mentioned and the fact that this room is in their building is disturbing. Their office looks beautiful and decorated for every season. Please stop wasting residents money on crap that is not needed and actually do something that benefits the people that pay outrageous amounts for this crappy, old apartments.Dear owner: Please do not give me a response to this. You do not live here, you are in a corporation and have no idea how it feels to live here. You are going to say, Im sorry you feel this way..., but I wouldnt feel this way if something was actually done. Step up and do something for the residents.

I have lived at this property for over half a year now, and all I can say is I have been very upset with the service provided by the management. I walk into the clubhouse and everybody is on their phone, and no one greets me. The worst employee they have is Fawn Richards, I don’t know how she ended up being a assistant manager she is utterly disrespectful and rude, she doesn’t seem keen on helping when issues arise regarding the apartment and he sounds anoyyed when taking a call regarding service requests. I pay way to much to have this level of disrespect from someone with no customer service or people skills. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT MOVE TO ST MARY WOODS APARTMENTS!

I lived on the third floor for three years, and I enjoyed my stay overall. I moved out because I bought a house. Compared to other apartments I have read about, this one seems much better. So far this is the only apartment complex I have lived in, so I dont know from personal experience how it compares to others. I wanted to list everything separated into either a pro or con category, but many of the things are a mixture of both, so I wont categorize them:Criminal activity:I didnt notice any drug dealing or car vandalism on my street. Two times out of the three years Ive lived here, someone on my street has had their apartment broken into.Insects:Compared to houses where I used to live, my apartment had a typical amount of spiders, less than average amount of ants, and more than average amount of silverfish. Most of what I saw were spiders. I never had an ant problem. Sometimes Id see one here or there, but there was never a big infestation. There werent many silverfish either, but since I never saw them before I moved here, thats why I said more than an average amount.Mold:Mold did grow above the shower and in the window sills. There is poor ventilation in the bathroom because there are no windows there. But I dont think the mold that I got was too bad; I have read about other apartments which have much more serious mold problems. I am glad that no mold grew in my closet.Rent:In 2012, my rent for a 1 bedroom was $775 (12 month lease). In 2013, it was $775 (10 month lease which was the cheapest). In 2014, it was $795 (10 month lease which was the cheapest). In 2015, it was $850 (10 month lease which was the cheapest). You can decide for yourself whether you think those prices are too high. When I looked for apartments in 2012, this complex was one of the cheapest (out of about ten), and that was a big reason why I chose it. I dont know if it is still the cheapest, however. I didnt like the big jump from $795 to $850, but Im guessing all apartments in the area probably made a similar jump in their rent prices. Water/sewage/garbage is not free here. It fluctuates a little every month, is supposedly based on usage, and it costs $10 more per person who lives in your apartment.Temperature:I lived on the third floor which had a vaulted ceiling and a fan in the dinette. The apartments dont come with air conditioning. I cant speak for other floors, but on mine at least, it got very hot in the summer. It was usually hotter inside than outside, even with the windows open. The insulation doesnt seem very good because on cold days/nights even with the heat on, if you touch the inside of your walls, it will feel cold. When its 33 degrees outside and you leave the heat off for ten hours, the apartment temperature will get to 58 degrees (with the indoor temperature being about 71 before the heat was turned off). In summer when its 80 degrees outside, it will be 90 in the apartment. When its 100 degrees outside, youd be wise to leave.Thermostat:The heater gauges in the apartment have incorrect readings. On one, if you set it to 55, it will heat your room to about 70 degrees. On another, if you set it to 60, it will heat your room to 70 degrees. The third gauge is different too and still incorrect. If you set any of your knobs to 70 degrees, expect that your room will be heated at least ten degrees hotter. I recommend turning the knob to whatever number that makes the heat come on, and no higher. If youre still cold when it shuts off, then you can turn it higher. After the summer months of not using the heaters, turning them on will produce a smell of burning dust the first couple times.Wanted to say more, but theres a character limit. I continued my review at other sites.

It is the least I can give it if I could give it a score. It would be a very noisy apartment. You can basically listen to all the neighbors and obviously they listen and especially if the neighbor who lives above is an inconsiderate person. (How is my case) I complained to the managers and they say they can not do anything but give me another apartment but I will have to pay a lot more rent, several times other people have parked in my parking lot and I called the crane and they do not get to lift the cars and the managers response was the same as always they can not do anything, in the parking lot many children ride a bicycle without any precaution or adult supervision, you think renting in this place do not do it unless you want to live stressed

Ok first let me start off by saying there is a terrible MOLD, and ANT problem. The windows are very thin I can hear everything from outside. Winter time is insanely cold and if I dont keep my heaters on I will freeze to death. SECONDLY, every damn month theres hidden fees to pay!!! Everything is so damn crappy about these apartments they literally just paint over everything to fix it. They refuse to change my dryer which is literally a century old and shrinks all my clothes and take forever to dry. My kitchen sink have gotten clogged 2 times and they guy told me if it happens one more time they will charge me!! Thank Goodness my lease is over in March....new renters please take your time and read these reviews, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!

The neighborhood itself is very quiet and peaceful, the schools are great. However, the apartments arent worth what they ask for in rent. Some of the rules the management enforce are a little much.

I have never seen a place that grew so much mold and mildew, I can understand having it on the window in this part of the country but for it to be growing out of the walls and in the closet is very poor. I spoke to multiple other tenants whom believe they had health problems from living in this community, from the mold/mildew and also the water (its just better to purchase your own water if your going to live here) I also experienced a lot of ants while residing there, and I was on the middle floor. I had to have someone come out and treat my apartment multiple times but it never went away.I also lived above one of the managers, quiet time was at 10pm but I had heard her and someone fighting loudly past that time. Not just that but she had some people that obviously didnt like her and came into the parking lot screaming her name at 2 Oclock in the morning. There is a train that runs right along the back side of some of the buildings that is very loud. Some of the buildings, out one of the bedroom windows and the patio your views are grey storage buildings with bright yellow doors. The other commenters here arent lying either when they say that the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations.Upon moving in, I read the reviews on this place and I have to say one thing I have learned is that the people whom write these reviews arent lying. If you just need a hotel for now its not bad, but it is no place to make a home.

Moldy, thin walls, noisy. The rent goes up every single time your lease is up. The area is a little sketchy and the road is dangerous because of all the big trucks that park along it. You are paying for luxury apartments that are anything but luxurious. The windows and doors are super drafty and the gap under our door is so large that slugs actually crawl in under it. I am a clean freak and it drives me crazy trying to keep up with the mold. Not worth the money.

I have lived here for less than a year and havent enjoyed it to much. We had to downsize and this complex was closest to price and a great neighborhood that we have lived in for almost three years already. We moved in the summer so we used the pool right away and Im going to call their pool their disguise. Im going to say the staff is very nice and polite because they are but sometimes I dont think they do everything they can to make this place better. The reason I decided to write this review is because they are going to start charging a service fee to pay rent online through a bank account. How obsurd. They already charge outrageous rent for old, mediocre apartments and now more service fees. Mind you, the service fee for bank accounts will only be $1 compared to much more for credit options but lets get real... I am paying out of my own money and Im doing the work, What service are you doing? They told us residents to please keep in mind that paying online is an option not mandatory..., another example of why I dislike living here, only bill I have each month that charges a service fee to pay online. And that begins my list:Pros:-Staff is nice and has been very sweet-Parking spot included, ours in covered but not every unit includes covered.-Pool is big, but always full of kids who dont live in the complex, its obvious.Cons:-SPIDERS! Big ones, black ones. I am a spider baby but even my husband recognizes the issue. They are everywhere. Even had one in my dishwasher one time.-COLD!! So cold! Walls obviously have 0 insulation. Prepare to pay at least double electricity bill in winter.-Old Crap everywhere.. Our stove is so old and the oven burns everything, carpet should have been replaced before we moved in, even agent said it during our walk-thru, and our toilet has a disgusting stain-like issue. Scrubbed and scrubbed but never white. They just cover up old with paint and tape instead of replacing.-The Gym/Weight Room is gross! And this surprises me because it is in the building where they work all day but it gets so bad. Food crumbs on the ground, sucker sticks on the floor, paper towels everywhere. Im not going over the top, this stuff was on the floor for days. I work out four times a week sometimes and the garbage would not move, which means no one is maintaining anything. I understand the residents are being gross, but they need to clean that room. Not only is there garbage but it is sooo dusty and dirty, and I sanitize stuff after I use it AND before I use it, and when I stretch, I never put my hands on the mats. Not recommended.-Blanton Road is not so safe. It may look safe sometimes but it is deceiving you. What I find funny is the picture that St. Marys Woods used of Blanton Road on the google info, nice trees lined up with kids playing in the street. WRONG! Imagine that road lined with at least 5 semi trucks everyday. At least 5 trucks jammed on each side of the road and people speeding through. That is the true picture. Kids cannot play on this street. This is something I have held in but cannot no more. I do not recommend this apartment complex. If you want a nice apartment in this area I recommend Westbury Apartments right down the road. A little more money, which is why we moved out of there, but trust me. I would move back there and pay more than live here any day. Please St Marys Woods, clean your weight room and and stop charging residents stupid service fees. We pay enough already with this rent crisis in the area!!!!

Living here is like living in HELL! The walls are thin and you can hear everything the people are saying and doing. None of the windows are in good condition, WINTER TIME VERY COLD. The apartment has BAD STINKS all the time we did everything but still remained the same. Finally I found after living there a few months MOLDS all over in the restroom and in the closets. I went to the office and let them know. Bathroom fan covers just fall down. In spite of complaining nobody takes any action. After my contractor ends I did not renew my contract at all.
