We hired them to remove a large tree in our backyard and do the stump removal. The owner was super responsive throughout the entire process - from getting the estimate to walking us through the final results. They were here a little over an hour and did an amazing job. The entire crew worked really well together, not needing much direction from each other - just knew what to do and where to go when. They protected our fence, deck, and house from the falling branches. They removed the entire stump and the large roots surrounding the stump. Not only did they make sure the branches were picked up, but they cleaned up the entire site around the tree as well. Very professional and got the job done quickly. Highly recommend!

We hired Mike and his crew to elevate 2 silver maples that were overhanging our garage, power lines, a neighbors fence, and the street. There was a lot of dead branches that needed cut back as well. If you’re shopping around for a tree service, just save yourself some time and call these guys. We needed three trees removed, one of them in a challenging location with power lines, a fence, and our shed all within a few feet. We got quotes from several companies, some of them very expensive. When Mike from MRB came out, we could tell he’s a professional who knows his stuff. I was honestly surprised how low his quote was; it was significantly less than the other two companies we called. When the crew came to do the job, they got it done in just a couple hours. They ground down the stumps, and even raked up and took away all the wood chips from the stump grinding. The owner Mike was on-site during the job, and clearly takes pride in his work. It also was nice to see a crew that gets along well and has a good time working together, it lets me know that they are selective with who they hire. I would 100% recommend this company, and would use them again without hesitation.

We had a tree fall in the night during a storm. It fell onto our privacy fence and onto our neighbors shed. I contacted several tree removal businesses the next morning, they returned my call and email the same day and were out the next morning to do an estimate. They thoroughly explained the process, how their insurance worked, and when they would be available to remove the tree. They were the cheapest quote I received and it was a very fair price. They brought a loader out to lift the tree off the neighbors shed and fence so not to damage either any further. They ground several stumps for us too while they were here. They did all this while I was at work and if it wasnt for the missing tree and stumps, I wouldve never known they had been there because they cleaned everything up so well. We were extremely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend.

Fantastic job by MRB tree service! Very prompt on coming out and giving a quote. Extremely competitive prices as we received a handful of quotes and they gave the lowest. They took down a tree and 6 bushes very quickly, safely, professionally, and cleaned up afterwords. They were able to grind the stumps down as well with their stump grinder. We were so happy with MRB’s work that we called them back to take out another bush that day and they came that same day and wasn’t even going to charge us. We were very pleased with MRB from first contact through completed contracted work. Mike returned my initial phone call the same evening and came out to our house two days later to give us an estimate. He stayed in touch with us to let us know when the work would be performed and the entire crew was here and ready to start at the designated time. After the trees and shrubs were removed (including stump grinding), everything was cleared, cleaned, and made ready for planting. In addition, Mike trimmed a crabapple tree near our house to clear the roof and reshape. It looks great. I highly recommend MRB both for their professional work and competitive prices.

We had MRB Tree Service come out and cut down 3 trees, grind up the stumps, remove the brush, and trim and shape a large oak tree at our house.I cannot say enough positive things about this company. If you need tree work done and you do not at least call MRB and get a quote it is your loss. They were amazing for a very competitive price compared to 2 others who quoted.Mike was very nice and forthcoming on the work. I got a quote with pictures detailing what would happen.Prior to the work we had some heavy rain, Mike called and he pushed back the work so the yard could dry and would cause less damage to my yard. Super nice about it too.He had a large crew with multiple pieces of large equipment. Everyone was professional and did excellent work. 1 tree was close to 2 houses and a fence, no problem for these guys.They plywood boarded my side yard where they had to drive alot of the equipment. Considering how much rain we had had a couple days before, and the fact that all the water from my house and my neighbors runs under my gate, my yard was left in great shape (be realistic...theyre cutting down and hauling away trees, some grass will be tread over...itll be okay). Mikes guys did a great job on cleanup by raking and leaf blowing. They even scooped up and hauled away the mounds left over from grinding the stumps.My father in law brought a trailer for the large logs and Mikes crew gladly loaded it with their tracked loader. No questions asked no complaints. It took 3 trips and Mike offered to have his crew wait a couple minutes to load up the trailer with the last load. We got back in time so he didnt have to wait but it was very kind of him to offer.I cant say enough good things about the job they did. Please support this business. For all the crummy contractors Ive run into I want to keep the good ones around for the next time I need to have work done.

Mike and his team did an excellent job removing 2 trees (essentially 4 trees since one of them turned into 3 above the stump).Mike first came over to do the estimate and was on time, professional, explained everything and what it entailed better than other companies I had come over to check it out. He was a tad more expensive than the other guys, but he also did more work than what they said they would do. The other company I had check it out said they would leave most of the logs on the property and wouldn’t do as much stump removal.Mike took great care to not mess up my lawn by placing plywood over my lawn where he needed to drive on in order to get to the trees, cleaned everything very well, and I have no regrets spending the extra money for the quality of service I received. The lawn looks way bigger now too which is awesome. Definitely would use Mike and his crew for any tree job you have.

My first experience with MRB (recommended by our neighbor) was very excellent. They responded to our request in a timely manner. They scheduled us much earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Good communication. Respects nature and wildlife--not just a guy with a chainsaw and a truck. We have a heavily wooded lot (24 years) and have had a good amount of tree work/removal done. This is not the first time weve had trees and stumps removed. This is the first company that cleaned up so thoroughly the areas were literally ready to plant when they left--usually there is a lump and sawdust mess at the root and leftover debris around the area. MRB is our go to for future tree work.

I had a job done the first week of June 2020. I received a very reasonable price for the work being done and it was the lowest of the three bids. I was quoted a day that the work would be done by and they were able to come sooner than quoted to complete the job. I figured they would take most of the day to take down two moderate to large trees and grind the stumps then level out a mound of dirt. It took them less than 4 hours! Definitely happy with the job.

MRB Tree Services did an anther AWESOME job for us this morning – taking down five mature trees to include a large cottonwood, which was way too close to our house. The other four trees were near property lines and close to a fence, shed, and neighbor’s trees. They took great care to take those mature trees down with no collateral damage to any of our or neighbor’s property/trees. Very evident MRB has a skilled and hardworking team. I hired MRB Tree Service to take out two dying trees and cut back the limbs of a tall oak that were hanging over the neighbors house. One of the trees they removed was in a difficult position, with a very large branch hanging over the neighbors fence and several cables in close proximity. Everything went great and they cleaned everything up well. Since they had to drive a truck though my yard to get to the tree, I appreciated that Mike waited for a day the ground was frozen so my yard was not torn up. Mike was very knowledgeable and I felt confident he knew what he was doing, unlike some others I talked to.

After the 2019 tornadoes there was no shortage of tree companies wanting our business. Few were licensed, bonded, or insured...most were pushy and unscrupulous.We called MRB, who came highly recommended. We paid $2200 for the felling and removal of 2 large mulberry trees, stump grinding, and trimming 2 other trees damaged by the 2019 Dayton area tornadoes. Mike came out in March and gave us an estimate. We agreed to work with them, he said they were scheduled 3 months out which was fine. 3 months went by so I called to get an updated timeline. He said it would be another month due to rain delays, totally understood because our backyard was still flooded. I called again for another update this time it was two weeks. 5 weeks went by so I tried calling again! Will not return my phone calls. Feel like Im wasting my breath everytime I call and leave a voice mail.

I was disappointed in the amount of trimming they did (I would have preferred more) but foolishly trusted that what was left was secure. I understand that its more art than science, but literally the first storm that came through dislodged a large branch that landed on my car.If I were doing it again I would have been more clear about how much of the trees I expected to be cut down and would have trusted my own instincts over Mikes hurry to be finished.

It was 90 degrees that day with 3 trees on the agenda: an emerald ash tree cut and stump ground, an oak tree trimmed and elevated, and an oak tree trimmed and crowned. Mike and his team worked tirelessly to complete the job. Mike is an artist. He balanced the branches on each side and turned my front yard unsightly tree into a healthy one.Cost. Fair Price. I had 3 other tree services quote me a price. Mike bundled the 3 trees for a best price and his explanation of why and what to cut surpassed the others.Class Act. Approximately 1/2 to 2/3 complete, I paid Mike and went to run errands. Upon return, Mike promptly informed me it was unlikely his team would finish today (the heat: 90 deg). He returned the envelope of payment and said they would be back first thing the next day. He was, the job was finished, and I paid him. The act of promptly communicating progress and returning payment until complete is refreshing: honest and customer focused.

Mike with MRB was great to work with. He gave a fair quote, and did his best to fit my tree work in during the busy season. He did a great job pruning my trees that sorely needed it. He will be who I contact for future tree trimming without a doubt!

Very very impressed with Mike and his crew. They were able to accomodate me a few days after quoting the job. It was great seeing the actual owner out there in the tree doing the work and his crew was a well oiled machine which had the place cleaned up as if no one was ever there!.I will be using MRB for future jobs as well as putting their name out there for references!!

Exceptional service. Outstanding teamworkI had one huge maple tree removed in my front lawn last May that was likely to fall on my house at some time in the future. MRBs estimate was fair compared to others I got. Plus, MRB is licensed and insured. Be careful of estimates from outfits like Two Men and a Chainsaw. Mikes crew of 8 or 10 arrived with several trucks, a chipper, a bobcat, a stump grinder and a workforce that had the entire job finished from take down to smoothing over the hole where the stump was in under 3 hours! I was totally impressed with how the crew managed to saw up the limbs and haul away the remaining huge pieces while methodically removing all traces of debris and tree shavings from my lawn. The workers respected my property and seemed to take pride in their work. Do not be surprised if you find some unavoidable depressions in the lawn as this is to be expected when the weight of huge limbs hit the turf after falling a fair distance. I did subsequently need to fill in some holes with topsoil and grass seed but did not have to rake any areas because the crew left the lawn in great condition.I would not hesitate to hire Mike and MRB again for another job and can honestly recommend them to other homeowners.

I highly recommend MRB tree service! Mike and his crew came out and removed 2 trees from my property this past weekend! They did an amazing job, quick and efficient. They cleaned the yard, sidewalk and street...to the point that you honestly couldnt tell that there were even trees there to begin with. They were all very nice.

Excellent experience! Had a thick maple tree that had branches on my roof & on neighbors siding. The MRB team did a fantastic job at removing the limbs/branches without damaging my or my neighbors house & the tree still has a beautiful shape. I had two trees and a lot of brush removed from a home I recently purchased. They did an excellent job and cant say enough about the cleanup. I have been using MRB Tree Service for about 2 years. The crew has taken out several very large trees and without a doubt, they are the best tree service I have used. Mike and his crew were fantastic in bringing down 3 trees in my yard. They worked as a team in taking them down and cleaning up was way beyond what I expected.
