The venetian is great: clean, professional, good prices, great color options. I have had some not great manicures here though--you want to make sure that youre with a really experienced nail technician and not someone whos just trying to rush through it and get the next person because its busy (this is also why I never go on a saturday). I love Amber. Shes amazing. Shes been doing my nails every 3 weeks for the last 5+ months and yes they really last 3 weeks. Shes awesome.

Extremely wonderful spot! Great atmosphere. Also great procedures for Covid-19. I got mine and my daughters nails done, and they did an excellent job. Best job in the area, in my opinion. I’m a very satisfied customer! They do an absolute amazing job on dips, yes it takes a bit of time, but it’s definitely worth it! They also help you decide what to do, instead of leaving you clueless and confused like most places. They made a lasting customer out of me. Tony did my nails, and Tiffany did my daughters princess set. I highly recommend both! Very personable people, and they make you feel at ease.

I made an appointment with a specific manicurist and they had assigned her out right before my time. They gave me another inexperienced person who did not know about dipping powders. My nails are thick and bumpy. My gel pedicure is uneven. Tim was my manicurist. I am very disappointed. Making an appointment is a joke! I would be better off taking my chances with a manicure at WalMart. I will not go back to this Salon again!

I went here on my birthday 2/23 because it was in close proximity. I went in for a pedicure to treat myself. it has definitely been the worse pedicure I’ve had. When the nail tech finished painting my feet she was rushing that I leave. I wore boots and I wanted the paint to dry before I put my boots and socks on my feet. Its winter. I sit there until my feet dried. The tech grabbed her coat, groceries and left Me while I sat in her chair. I left there and my feet Still had dead skin hanging on my the heels of my feet. No exaggeration. And of course my paint smudged. I paid for the $54 for awful treatment. My husband told me I should go back and get my money. I definitely won’t return. the only good thing I have to say is the place is clean. I definitely don’t recommend.

This place is the WORST. My nails came out all ragged with polish on my cuticles. I mentioned twice to the technician that they were not cleanly painted and she proceeded to ignore me. Two hours later I am out of time and leave with the worst manicure of my life. I go back a few hours later when I have time to point out my concerns with someone else and am told that “I left satisfied so I would have to pay full price for a new gel manicure”. I will NEVER spend another dollar in this salon.

I had a appointment. My friend and I visited for our 50 Th birthday. The girl who did my pedicure rushed through it. I asked for a basic pedicure and ended up paying $17.00 more then I was told. Massage chairs were not strong and girl was not a helpful. I do not recommend. I even asked for a slight discount and the manager said no! They did not care about loosing a customer they are in it for the money. Very poor customer service

I was apprehensive to go here because of a few of the reviews.... but trust me when I say, this place is AWESOME!! The owner is so cute and funny - she really made me feel welcomed. Tony did my nails. He paid soooo much attention to detail and really took his time on my nails! He’s a perfectionist and it really pays off in his work! The inside of the facility is super nice too. The only thing I didn’t like is that they aren’t social distancing guests. I’m vaccinated so I still felt comfortable. I will 100% be going back!

Ive had my nails done all over Dayton. I was recently told to try this place and Im so glad I did. Jackie did a wonderful job, exactly what I asked for. I wont be going anywhere else!

I really keep trying to give this place a try but Im done. Ive experienced so many techs that just dont know what theyre doing. My latest appointment was my toes. I figured NO ONE could mess up a simple pedicure. I was wrong. Literally showed my friends my feet and they gasped in disbelief. I had to file my own toe at one point because the tech left it so weird. Go somewhere else or find a tech that knows what they are doing and actually care to make sure you get what you need.

I’ve had good experiences here, staff is nice, facility is nice, nails good decent but I was just really frustrated with my pedicure today. I paid $8 extra for the upgraded pedi which called for an extended massage and my massage was the same length as my sisters who got the basic. The only difference was the scrub which is not worth $8. I went more for the massage than anything so that sucked. I also was specific about how I wanted my nails cut and that just didn’t happen. They are fine.. but I was just disappointed

I used to go here regularly. I would get manicure/pedicure, and went in between for polish changes. Recently, theyve begun overcharging me, treating me poorly when I refuse an upsale, and charging petty things like an extra $5 for multiple colors, or to cut my natural nails. The work is usually petty good, but its just not worth it anymore. There are so many better places around.

My experiences at the Venetian Nail Spa at the Greene have been in a word “luxe”. The staff is very friendly while the technician’s professional attention to detail derived fabulous results. It is a very calming atmosphere. My pedicure was made even more stunning by the tech finishing with quality, high gloss gel and clear coat matching my black leather pants. Book an appointment soon!!

Every time I walk out the Venetian I feel like a new person! Nathan always does a fantastic job every time I get my nails done. The salon is always clean, they do a great job of making sure every customer is satisfied with the service they have done. The environment is always friendly and they are very quick to get you sat down and ready to go. Highly recommend!!

The workers need to do the services they are asked without arguing with the customer. She argued with me over the color I wanted and pushed the more expensive services. Left with a full acrylic dip set in multiple colors when I asked for gel on my natural nails in one color. She cut me multiple times with the drill and file. When I pulled my bleeding hand away, she said something I couldn’t understand and pointed to the finger she had just cut. Extremely unprofessional and rude!

Got my eyes micro-bladed today by Nina from Lima. To say I am pleased is an understatement. She did a PHENOMENAL job! I am more than ecstatic at the results! Nina cared about me as a customer. I have been coming to Venetian for about 3 years now and Nathan has never let me down. He does quality work and I am almost never disappointed. He does good work on my natural nails and that is very important to me. I have never had an issue at this location and that’s always a plus.

I have just started going to Venetian and every time I go to have my nails done I’m always satisfied. Everyone is very helpful and the salon is always clean. I recommend Nathan he’s done my nails and he’s the best !

Amber does the best dip manicures!!

I have been using Venetian for awhile and have continuously found myself disappointed. I get dip nails and have never had issues with them breaking before two weeks anywhere but here. Today I went to get my nails fixed after one week of having SNS on and the first man that redid my nail did an extremely poor job and used a navy blue color instead of black. Once I realized the color was wrong, another girl fixed them with the appropriate color but it is extremely thick and uneven. I will NOT be going back.

After waiting almost 30 minutes, no cuticle work but ground off with electric file. Both ombré acrylic and dip on natural were asked from us. Mentioned “I can’t see” a few times and left dip all around nail bed and around finger. Clear regular top applied and not gel as requested. Rude when asked why “cash only tip”.

I have been going to the Venetian Nail Spa since 2013 when a friend took me there and was so impressed I had so many great experiences. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Overall I could say I had some wonderful and relaxing experiences until today. I had the most kind nail tech who was gentle and diligent while administering the powder dip on my fingernails. I chose a color from the wheel and after the last coat of color I noticed how dark it was. Which looked absolutely nothing like the color I had chosen initially. I apologized to her repeatedly and said I know you have worked so hard but this just isn’t the color I chose and I compared them. She agreed with me and the manager came up and agreed that we would soak it off and I could choose a different color. So in the mean time I soaked after twenty minutes the manager came up and said two more minutes then choose a new color. So I did, I waited in my chair for 25 minutes after choosing a new color and finally I went up to the front desk and asked what was going on. The manager became all frazzled, shouting through the entire salon for someone named Wendy to do my nails. I was so embarrassed. Following this I sat back in my chair waiting until another nail tech named Kim came over. She was the most rude employee I have ever met at this salon. She jerked my hands and fingers and became very nasty in tone with me explaining that I shouldn’t expect the color to be the same on my nail as it does on the color wheel because those samples have been siting up there for years....This makes zero sense. Why would I even bother choosing a color if it’s not what it will look like when it’s applied to the nailbed???? I am appalled that this supposed “upscale salon” would exemplify this kind of behavior and approach to a customer. Kim treated me so bad and was so harsh and angry that I was in tears walking out. I am so disappointed.

I’ve been visiting Venetian at the Greene for years and my feelings towards the establishment are mixed. It is a large and busy salon which can often be chaotic and unorganized. The technicians are for the most part friendly, but I’ve also come across downright rude and pushy technicians who don’t care about your experience. Usually they are quick to get you seated, even if you come with a friend. Lately I’ve noticed though if you come with someone else, they will still separate you even if you’ve requested to wait and sit together. The quality of work is average. There are a few star technicians who always do a great job and have exceeded my expectations, but sometimes you get seated with either someone new or someone lazy and your nails look uneven, crooked, too thick, or messy - yet you’re still paying the same rate. Overall the establishment is clean, with the exceptions of busy times and the nail trimmings everywhere and bugs seen crawling around. I don’t feel like they’re as service centered as they used to be, and are now more focused on the quantity of people they are moving in and out of there.

Ive given the Venetian a few chances and it has been a few too many. Every time I go in I leave unhappy. With acrylics theyre always uneven. I went in one day to get stiletto and the tech asked me what is that which I brushed off and said okay and went to coffin. Half of my nails were round and the shape was a mess and they were all different lengths. Another time I went in to get my nails soaked off and just color put on because my nails were long enough. I have NEVER been so infuriated with nail removal. The tech cut my nails off so I lost all of my length and then used an extension to pry up the rest of my nails. When I left there was still acrylic residue on my nails and the shape was destroyed. Now I have to wait weeks for them to be long enough for me to just do dip as I had plannned. One if the worst salons I have ever been in.

I wouldn’t go back to this place. My nail tech was careless with my nails. Not bothering to clean up my cuticles or fix her mistakes. My nails ended up bumpy and weirdly shaped. They were different lengths and I was new asked what shape I wanted. I went here with my cousin and sister. My sisters was rushed and messy, and my cousins nails were very neat and nice looking, but they took an hour and a half and was cut multiple times by the drill. My sister was told that the color she wanted didn’t exist, even though she picked a color from the samples. My nails are peeling at the sids and the tips are chipping on the sides. I’m very disappointed, as I look forward to getting my nails done here, as it is highly rated, but when I walked in I just saw a mess on the floor, desks, and nail tables. Not to mention the VERY used files and uncleaned brushes, along with seeing nail techs share cuticle cutters that should have been marked “soiled”.I hope by this that the techs start doing better to fix their mistakes. I didn’t do names because I don’t want anyone to get in trouble, I just want this to show how to be better.

My pedicure was just run of the mil . By the look of the spa and the pedicure I chose I expected royal treatment. There was no extra massage, the tech was more interested in what was going on around us than in my feet, and it felt rushed. Will most likely not spend any more $$ here when I come back to Dayton.

Very large and busy nail salon. Walk ins are welcome but there is almost always a long line. Call or schedule ahead! I waited for about over an hour for a pedicure. The woman who did my nails was great and quick.Keep in mind, when you walk in the waiting space is limited and can often be very crowded.

I had the worst experience and pedicure that I have ever received at this store. I went in two hours before close and waited an hour to even be sat. When I finally was sat my nail technician Nick was rushing through everything and not paying attention so with his neglect took a literal chunk out of the side of my big toe with the foot scrubber. He didn’t even notice he did it I had to tell him to stop. He didn’t even say sorry, he said it’s fine and tried to put my bleeding toe back into the water that my other foot was in. I refused. I am a nurse and that is not sanitary or good infection control. He put cotton on my bleeding toe and proceeded to finish my pedicure which was also rushed and looks horrible. I called to complain today asking to get my money back because I am very unhappy and my toe is still actively bleeding. The manager refused to give me my money back, per company policy he said and offered a gift card for my next pedicure. I refused one because now have an open wound that they have caused on my foot, and also because I am never coming back to this salon for anything ever again and I’m recommending that everyone I know do the same. The lack of care, sympathy or concern was ridiculous and unacceptable. Let’s just hope I don’t get an infection.

Ive gotten plenty of fine manicures here (John does amazing dips) but I had an awful pedicure here thats left a terrible taste in my mouth. Mindy was my tech and she talked me into their more advanced pedicure then proceeded to give me the worst massage of my life. She stared to her side and basically limply ran her hands up and down my leg. She was listless with every action and never actually looked at my legs or feet while she was massaging me, which was bizarre. If she didnt want to massage, why talk me into it? Very very minimal work on my nail bed and cuticles. Then she waxed my eyebrows and missed a large amount of hairs I had to touch up at home.Then 2 days later my French tips started to pull up. I returned to negotiate some sort of reimbursement and get it fixed but they were packed. I tried to explain everything but no one was really listening and told me Id have to wait awhile. Ill never go back, they lost a regular.

My nail polish lasted forever and the fake nails I had put on were very strong too. I loved the aesthetic of the place and they had a lot of color options but the nail technicians were very rough, not gentle with my hands and feet , not friendly and definitely not good at communicating.

If I could give zero stars I would. To start, my daughter and I signed in and we’re told there’d be a wait, which is fine. We asked to sit together and they told us they’d try their best. I was taken back to soak my nails off after an hour of waiting to signing in. My daughter was told she’d be taken back and sat next to me in just a minute. An hour later, after soaking I was still sitting, with no one having checked on me and my daughter was still up front waiting to be sat. At this point we had now been there for over an hour and a half. Unattended to. My daughter was then taken back and seated, I still had not been checked on. My daughter brought it to someone’s attention that I had not been attended to, so they moved me next to her. Still no one coming to do my nails. I complained to my daughter’s tech and stated I would no longer be interested in getting my nails done. In which the receptionist over heard and said “oh. Sorry.” And shrugged it off. My daughters tech got the attention of another tech who came to do my nails. This became a 3 hour ordeal with HORRIBLE customer service. Little to no apologies and little to no interaction from the receptionists and technicians. Needless to say we will never be going back.

I was seated right after signing in at 5:28 PM. I did not leave until 6:54 PM after just having DIP applied to my nails. This does not include having anything removed previously applied to my nails. I came in with bare nails. This is TOO long. So long that I didn’t have the time to have them adjusted. They are so THICK! 5 layers were applied to my nails. One layer of clear. Three of color. And then another layer of clear! They look like chicklets, they’re so thick. I can’t even scratch my nose bc they’re so thick ... wish me luck if I ever drop my debit card on the floor. I work this weekend, but will be in on Monday to have them shaped better. I had to ask for my receipt before I left as I was not originally given one. The most disappointing to me is the time I wasted. And now I have to go back ...

I have been going to this salon for years. Andrew always does a phenomenal job on my nails. He is so precise and conscientious in his technique and ALWAYS is accommodating to my shifting schedule. All the employees are very nice and efficient. I have never had a problem with anything or anyone at this establishment!

My client has always gone to this place. Its never the same person. And this time the young man did not do what I said at all. My client is non verbal. So I usually stay with her but this time it was so crowded I couldnt stay by her. And he did not follow directions at all. Nor did he come and ask. They need to give betterinstructions to the new workers about being attentive and polite. As well as some of them too. Going to look somewhere else to go possibly.

I used to come here often. Each time I came I got a gel fill and each time it was a different price and a my nails never looked wonderful. I decided to start going somewhere else. Out of convenience I came back here. I got talked into doing dip. They looked absolutely horrible. They were waving looking and not straight. The guy got after me for accidentally hitting my thumb then wouldnt fully fix it. I went back today to basically give them another chance and I wont be going back. So disappointed.

Every time I have gone here I have left not LOVING my nails. Yesterday I went in to get Halloween nails done. The tech told me he could do the design. After he put the gel set and base color on, he then said the design wasnt possible. He also flooded my cuticles with gel polish. I felt like he was very rushed. Its very expensive here and I except my nails to be A1 for that price. The design I wanted him to do was very simple as well. This was not my first bad experience here, I have been sat down and forgotten about along with other things. I will be finding a new nail salon to go to.

This place is horrible! Very dirty and gave me a nail fungus. The polish didnt last and they customer service is very rude. My nails looked horrible and they wouldnt give me a refund or would they fix them. One of to nail tech even grabbed my arm and squeezed it really hard! I do not recommend this nail salon! Beware of this dirty place! Hope they go out of business or someone new buy this salon and hires new employees. Very sad being in a nice location and upper class shopping center. READ: i am absolutely so upset and disappointed. the man who helped me was chi and he was very rude and i felt like he was just purposely giving me an uncomfortable vibe. and i had called ahead to see how much acrylics were and they said it was $35 with no gel, and that is what i was planning to get. i walk in and the lady at the front desk confirms that it was $35 plus tax. so i go to chi and he does a pretty poor job and really belittles me when i ask simple questions. then he puts gel on and not just simple nail polish which is what i ask for. of course i couldn’t tell because the nails were glossy bc they weren’t dry. finally he give me the bill and it was 48 dollars plus tax. i have never paid 50 dollars for simple acrylic nails. so i paid for it and he took the money and left me with a dirty look and that was it. i left very upset and mad and all i wanted was to treat myself for the day and this place just ruined my day. seriously this is not the place to go

Wife and I got a mani-pedi. Leo worked on the wife and Lindsey took care of me. Leo did a fantastic job and paid attention to detail. Sadly, today is his last day. Lindsey was not as thorough for the money I paid, but did a great job on my mess of cuticles.

I had recently just had acrylics on my nails, and came in for a removal of them, and a fresh coat of paint. When removing my nails. Thanh ( I believe that was her name) noticed how frail my natural nails were and made sure to be careful. I was so impressed with her work on my natural nail. They were beautiful. Due to my thin nails, from the acrylics, some of the nails have broken so I was unable to enjoy my nails like I wanted too, but again, she did an amazing job. For removal of my nails, and the shaping and cutting a long with my GEL polish it was all around $40 after tax. I could not complain. Only thing I did not like was how one of the women, Im guessing the owner, spoke to a young lady about her nails, because her mother called and complained. Other than that the experience was one of the best I have ever received from any nail salon or nail tech! Thank You!

I have been coming here for over 8 years now and I feel like family. From the beloved Andrew, owner, Nancy, and the entire team - they make you feel welcome. If you have any problem, just speak up and ask for it to be taken care of. I usually have my nails done by Hong, as Andrew is always booked up!, but last night, Andrew took care of me. Great service, with much laughter.

I really enjoy getting in quickly and getting my nails done there was a gentleman its been many years since Ive had my nails done and the very nice gentleman that did my nails was named Allen and he did I try I love them very much and he is the bomb and very polite at that thank you for a wonderful experience

So, I got my nails on Sunday...an $80 gel mani/pedi. I arrived at the shop at 7:13pm and didn’t leave until after 9pm!!! On top of that, my pedi was done by Kevin, who then handed me off to Kate to complete the mani. By Tuesday my fingernails were literally chipping. I’ve never had gel nails chip so quickly. I call the salon, and ask to speak to a manager. He tells me to come back in before Sunday. I come back in on Friday (1/31) and I inform the person at the front desk that I’m here to get my nails fixed, and I had already spoken to the manager. They take my name down, and have me pick out my color. He tells me to wait 10 minutes while the Kate finishes up with a client. I wait for Kate for about 20 minutes, and then Kevin directs me to the back, where Lynne (who are you?) grabs my hand and tells me that I didn’t get a manicure....WRONG, I did. So, I politely inform her that I did get a mani/pedi and paid $80+ for it. I then sit down in Kate’s chair where she begins to remove off the top layer of the gel paint. 5 seconds into this, I am now surrounded by Lynne & Kevin watching as Kate does my nails. Lynne then tells Kate to get up, and Lynne takes over for Kate. Lynne was extremely rough with my hands and fingers, and nearly took my fingers out of socket. I’m not sure why everyone was so upset about having to complete their job, and I don’t understand why Lynne was even repairing my nails when she didn’t do them in the first place. Regardless, I would have to say this was poor customer service and I sadly, will not ever return for services at your location. Maybe you shouldn’t accuse your clients and instead talk to your nail techs. I’m sure Kate rushed the job because the salon closed at 8pm, and I wasn’t done til after 9! Still no excuse.

Horrible service anymore. I used to love this place because of their efficiency. Last 2 times I’ve made an appointment for a reason and they tell me when I get there they don’t have someone available......after 3 years I’m done with place. The owner is also never there and not very good at nails.

This is one of the best nail salons in Dayton. I have been coming here for a long time, and have always been impressed with their service. Even the owner will sit down and do someones nails if they are slammed. Hannah is my favorite technician, shes so quick, and my manicures last forever. From Manicures, to gel, to dip, they do them all well. I even did my nails for my wedding here :).

I love The Venetian! Nancy and the technicians are great! Kelly and Kevin do great work. No other nail salon does as good as a job!

Last time i came here my nails all weren’t the same shape, the lengths were inconsistent, I ask for things to get fixed and she made them look worse. And not to mention the attitude given to customers is the reason I don’t tip

Not a long wait, unlike usual places. Good pedicures. Have been going back for about 6 months now.

I have been visiting this nail salon every 2-3 weeks for a year. I drive all the way from the Huber Heights area to the Greene just to get my nails done. Peter ruined this place for me. He was very rude to me, pulling and pushing my hands between each step. He talked and laughed with another coworker the entire time. I had dip done on Saturday the 10th. It has only been 9 days and it is already cracked. I will be looking for a place with better customer service closer to home.

My experience was absolutely horrible. I paid for the highest pedicure and the lady didn’t do everything that was listed and demanded a tip. The woman who did my fill in on my nails was done in less than 20 mins. They look horrible. The white Looks yellow. Their ALL uneven even the nail polish is uneven. I got them done on Sunday and Monday night my polish on my toe nails was already starting to chip. I’ve never had such a bad experience like I did with this place. I will NEVER go back to this place or recommend it to anyone. Definitely a waste of my money. Now I have to go spend more money to have their mess ups corrected.
