I reached to the service Manager who then got the General Manager involved, and they quickly turned a bad situation into a five star experience. I made an appointment to have my jeep fixed several days in advance of taking it in. Brought it in on Friday morning about 15 minutes early. The service advisor told me that they were riding any tickets. I asked what she meant about that and she said that the service department was full. She went ahead and checked my car in and told me that she would call me and let me know what was wrong. I got an email a couple of hours later with an estimate but no time of when the repairs will be made. I started calling around four in the afternoon I never got a hold of anybody. I gave up asking. On Monday at about 4 o’clock in the afternoon I called again to find out if it was ready. No one ever called me. The communications were terrible. The repair seems to be made in my car is working fine. Just wish the communications were better.

Mike Smith Dodge Service Department has been the worst with customer service as well as mechanical service. Our 2015 Dodge Durango went in due to an engine light that has been coming on. We drop it off a month or so before to have it Service and it was supposedly fixed. Well the light came back on about 2 weeks a ago made an service appointment to drop it off on a Saturday July 24 of course they say the mechanic is not there until Monday. Monday at 4:28 P.M. we reached out to the service advisor because we hadn’t been given an update about what is wrong or what needs to be done. We was then notified that they was reaching out to the extended warranty department for repairs. Still no communication from the advisor I had to keep reaching out. Finally we was told the Service that needed to be calls for an adjuster to come out. The adjuster said that the vehicle failed to show demonstration after due to Mike Smith Mechanics having to take it apart. So we now have to wait for again for an adjuster to come back out so demonstration of the failure of the vehicle can be shown. So on August 2 our advisor update us that they are still awaiting for the adjuster. We are without transportation to drive to get back and forth to our jobs, children to school and etc. I was told to reach to Mophar about a rental assistance our vehicle was over the mileage for rental assistance. Due to the issue of the mechanic and the adjuster we then was told that they will cover a rental. Our vehicle had been with them 24 days, we picked it up on Wednesday August 16, to now it is smoking while driving and it was not smoking beforehand. My husband looks under the hood of the truck to see that they failed to put everything back on our vehicle so he had to drop it back off this Saturday August 21, because of the lack thereof in the job that was supposed to be perform by the mechanic. Anything could have went wrong while driving the vehicle due to the mechanic not performing his job properly. We have been trying to contact the service manager to get the run around from him and his department. Mike Smith Service department has to be the most careless department ever. I would not recommend having any service done at this department!

I arrived without an appointment 🙃. There were several gentlemen available to help with oil change, fluids etc. It was great to see smiling faces while they made sure your every need was addressed. This is hurricane season and they checked all to assure all was ready for quick evacuation if necessary!

The staff lies to you constantly. They don’t care that you’re without your vehicle as they keep it for weeks before even beginning work. Then they take more weeks to work on it. The male service advisor was rude to my daughter behind my back, and she was an adult just acquiring about the status of her vehicle. Also it’s hard to get in touch with your service advisor and you’re lucky if they return your call. The service is awful and they are ridiculously expensive. Make them your last resort.

Horrible communication with customers. I have worked in the car dealership world for over 8 years. If I would have treated my customers like they treated me, I would have been fired.My vehicle went it for a radio concern. We scheduled the appointment 9 days out from the time of our issue. Took them 2 days to get it done. I had to argue to get a loaner car. The service manager said that they have had cars there for months. If they would have said, hey we ate behind can we reschedule? That would of not been a problem. But nothing was said.

Amazing customer service. Family road trip to Florida almost ruined if it weren’t for Mike Smith. Jeep breaks down 20 miles away and roadside assistance takes 4 hours to arrive (Chrysler Roadside Assistance). Left us with only one hour at the dealership. Service department went above and beyond to identify and fix the problem within the hour and get us back on the road. Could not have asked for more!!

Service was always good. Went from a Nissan to a Buick and continued to use Nissan. Waited almost 3 hours for an oil change cause they sent the wrong part. Didn’t mind I understand things happens. Receptionist asked me why I was still there, mechanic says they sent the wrong part and your servicing a Buick at a Nissan dealership. I guess I’ll go to the Buick dealership. It was a good run.

Took Jeep in to have ecm flashed. Service dept said they would check it out. $658 dollars later tryed to drive it home. Kept dying just like before plus now my air doesn’t work was told now that was my ecm would have to try to find one since they don’t make them anymore went and got my Jeep will carry to someone who can check it without guessing and charging high prices 658 dollars for a small connector for ecm which didn’t fix anything

My experience at mike Smith was a total disaster and waste of my time. I have a complete plug and play start kit for my 1500 and no one there had the mental capacity on how to plug in the connectors. With the provided instructions i completed the job myself in under 2 hours. I will not ever set foot in that establishment again nor will i recommend to any of my enemies much less any friends i couldnt do that to them. So im closing you are a complete waste of time and an embarrisiment to the city of Beaumont

They had my vehicle for 24 days and rushed to put it together just for 2 days later my vehicle is smoking and I they dont have no answers for me besides we will get to it Monday!!!! The service Advisor, Jennifer did the best she could. The DEF gauge on my 2017 Ram 2500 stopped working and showed it on empty even though it was full. I got the dreaded 200 miles to 5 mph message. The truck had 55,500 miles on it. Of course the warranty ended at 50,000. ( no tolerance) Apparently, due to poor design, the entire DEF pump must be replaced. You cannot just replace the gauge sending unit. ( $1300 for the pump). You would think a part that you cannot drive the truck without would be covered under the drivetrain warranty. In addition, I was charged $67 for DEF. The DEF gauge didnt even register full when I got the truck back. My total cost was $2100. Seemed high to me, but it may be what I would have paid elsewhere. The parts and labor have a limited warranty for 12,000 miles. You would think they would at least cover it for the original 50,000 miles. Hope it lasts.

Took my car in for this dealership to replace gas tank, 2nd time. 1st one defective. Battery low in FOB asked them to replace. Picked up car they charged me $45.16. Nissan place charges $5.00.Went online and registered concern, was told someone would call me. Still waiting on that call.Every time we take our vehicle - slow service, no return calls, I just keep having to call them. Leaving messages is a waste of time. Stay away from this place.

My advisor was so unprofessional. Her communication skills are poor. She did not return none of my calls taking hrs to reply to messages. When i went to pick my car up my advisor didnt show up until i was finna pull off. I was not satisfied i paid 800.00 in repairs only to leave with my check engine light still on when my advisor specifically asked was it on and i told her yes but still wasnt addressed. So needless to say i left with my check engine light still on they offered to right their wrong but my car was there 5 days and i didnt want to leave it for another second. I just recommend if you go to mike smith dont allow Jessica to be your advisor she is very unprofessional.

Was on a wait-list to get a recall fixed for over a year until the part finally broke and I could not shift. Called and they said they could schedule me for two days later and it should only take a couple hours to fix. Droped the car off and when I got home was called and told that it would be another 2-3 days to fix because they forgot to order the part.

I Had my 2019 Ram 1500 appointment scheduled and upon my arrival I was promptly waited on by one of their courteous staff. My truck was taken straight in within 5 minutes . I had my oil changed 24 point inspection and tires rotated and had a couple of other things checked out , which turned out to be a simple plastic inner fender well linings rubbing my tire on a sharp left turn. Just a matter of clipping back into position . I only had to wait about an hour and a half for completion. I am very satisfied with the friendly staff and quality service.

Very friendly staff. Repair/service department works on Saturday which is very helpful due to my work schedule. Apparently it is useful for a bunch of other folks....i had an appointment for oil change, usually figure on a 30 minute in & out. This time it was an hour and 15 minutes. Thankfully i had company work to do on my laptop so it was not a big concern. The digital coupons provided on a regular basis are real money savers.

I have had my vehicle serviced here for the past 3 years. I have never had a reason to doubt the integrity of the technicians or service manger until 3/10/2021. I went in for a routine oil change and found out I had a leak. To have the leak fixed was pretty expensive, so I asked to see what was leaking. It was not a new leak. I had my oil changed a month prior and they should have told me about the leak then. I asked why they didn’t notify me previously and they had no answers. The service manager then proceeds to offer me 10% off my services. There is a 10% coupon that is on the website, that was the least he could do. This visit has fostered so much distrust. Did the technician wait until the leak was bigger and I would have to spend more money, or did he carelessly perform his job the last time I had my vehicle serviced? This cannot be the standards in which Mike Smith Auto Group, or Chrysler Jeep Ram FCA operates. I will no longer bring my vehicle here because I do long trust them to do their job.

Made appointment to change oil and evaluate (not repair) a minor warranty issue on the tailgate not opening. Was planned for a few hours but my vehicle was kept for 2 nights. I had to repeatedly call for updates. After all that all that was done was a reset of the tailgate function, which didn’t resolve it. My main frustration though is just the lack of communication and planning so that I could coordinate transportation for myself.

I brought my vehicle in for service because my window wouldnt roll up and my temperature gage goes up and down when driven. I was told the diagnosis was free but they called saying they needed $287 to do a deeper diagnosis. Needless to say I picked my car up with no repair. The service office seems to be rather unorganized. We called a week in advance to make an appointment for new tires & provided the exact information of the tires we wanted and got the quoted price. A day before our appointment, my husband called and they were unaware what tires we wanted & needed to move our appointment back 15 minutes. Again the tire information was provided over the phone to make sure they had them in stock. The day of the appointment, they again were unaware of what tires we wanted and ended up having to go to a partner dealership to pick up the tires because they did not have them on site.Despite all that, what I will say is that Chris is phenomenal. I have dealt with him twice now & he is excellent at customer service. He is friendly, knowledgable, and will go the extra mile. He dealt with my tire policy the last time I had a leak and was able to work with them to get it covered, despite their efforts not to pay for it. Thank you Chris! I’ll go back just to deal with him.

I had high hopes for bringing our nieces car here for a once over(she just got it and doesn’t have her license yet). I was surprised to be told that The initial diagnosis was free... when I made the appointment, a full week before bringing the car in, it was set for 7:30am and I made them aware I would be waiting for it.. they also asked if there was anything, in particular, that we wanted looked at closer. I told them the sunroof wasn’t working, that we needed a remote programed to the car. (I was made aware that this would cost $80.) And that the airbag light was on. We arrived 7 minutes late. I was told it shouldn’t take long. We browsed the car lot waiting. Left and went to other car lots, and even had a late breakfast. Two hours pass. I text for an update to be told there are a few people ahead of your car.... how is that possible when I made the appointment 1 week ahead of arriving? At 1:45pm I received a text letting me know my car was “next in line”. Yes 6 hours after dropping the car off. At 4:30pm I was told the fob could not be programmed and received an email that made me aware that they “observed” that the sunroof didn’t work.. and that they couldn’t program the remote to the car but that I would still have to pay the $81 because they tried.. They never mentioned anything about the airbag light. So in a nutshell I was charged $81 for them to babysit my niece’s car for 10 hours. I would hate to have seen how long it would have taken had I not had an appointment or said I was not waiting..

Very disappointing in this dealership in comparison to others, my wife purchased a new 2019 Jeep Cherokee here and problems are starting to accumulate that usually do not accompany new vehicles. having a few electrical issues and Ive already had to replace the front brake system, flooded vehicle maybe???they cannot control vehicle issues but through my years is what separates the best from the others is how well they try to take care of you and be reasonable for issues that come up even if the warranty is slightly expired if you purchased a new vehicle from them.... to keep your business.... They failed miserably and did not even care..... Service advisor had to be called multiple times. all the way up to the service manager to get simple things accomplished or answered... we filed a complaint with corporate and all of our business has been transferred to Mid County CJDR... do yourself a favor and go there first. They care to keep your business. and do not copy and paste auto respond to every negative review :)

I was hopeful that this dealership could help me out because of the great reviews. However, the service I received was very poor. I came in on Wednesday to have them run a simple diagnostic on my Jeep Cherokee. The kind lady at the service department informed me that it would be done in 1 to 2 days, but most likely 2 because they were very busy. Understandable for sure. When I got back home (had to have family pick me up because they would not provide a courtesy vehicle) I received a text saying if I need anything to let them know. This was a positive thing. Fast forward to Friday, I call asking for a status and send a text. No response. It will get done today they said. So I come in Saturday morning and I am greeted with a different person who says the Transmission guy is on vacation and that they wont be able to look at my car until Monday. Very unprofessional to not let me know up front that the guy that I need isnt even on the property. I came in for a simple diagnostic test and left 4 days later without anyone even looking at the vehicle. It was parked in the exact spot I left it. Praying that my car can get me back home safely.

Ill never visit this place again. I scheduled and 8:30 appointment all to pick my truck up at 1:45 with nothing done to it. Jessica in service needs to be retrained because she doesnt know how to follow up with her customers nor does she know how to clearly explain the wait times. Only reason I have yall one star was because I couldnt leave a review without it.

Worked with Jay for a week on a 2020 truck, the saturday we were going to by it, we show up and truck he said he would have ready wasnt even there. When we asked where it was, he started pouting and said its just not fair for us to get it at the sister dealership. We needed the truck for the following day, so we were going to buy that day. He got attitude, stood the with crossed arms and acted like a toddler that didnt get his cookies. Before we even walked out of the dealership, we found THE PERFECT truck for $5000 less at Mark Dodge in LA. They were extremely friendly and had everything ready to go when we walked through their door !

Service was fine, fairly quick on the diagnostic of my vehicle. Took about a week to repair, but to be fair hurricane Laura hit that same week so no fault there. My biggest complaint is communication, other than the diagnostic report and pricing, I could never get a hold of or a response from my advisor. Emails, phone calls, and messages none of which were responded to. My wife had to call multiple times just to get any info. My car was fixed but if I didnt continually call I wouldnt have known it.

I went on Saturday 08/15/20 at 2:45 pm because I tried to charge a battery that I purchased new in May 2019; after waiting for an 1:45 we were informed that the battery wasn’t charging and the battery would have to remain to receive the warranty to code before the battery would be exchanged. The young lady who assisted us on Saturday told us someone would call us on Monday morning with the status of the exchange. We waited until 11:00 and my wife went back to the service center because no one had called to find out the person who assisted us on Saturday was that Monday and she had to wait another 20 minutes to be informed the machine went down and they would have to start the machine up again in order to get the code again and this time the Service Manager I think her name was Laura informed me that it would be another 1hour and didn’t return until after 2 hours and the service manager wasn’t there and Chris Henry whom I have assisted us every time we go there had to track down the service order, which was on a another service person desk and nothing was done until Chris got the service order and talked to service mechanic and inventory clerk to make sure the battery was in stock and placed in my automobile. Everyone else don’t provide the same courtesy of professionalism as Chris. This shouldn’t have taken this long if others would show courtesy to all your customers that come their for service on their vehicles. I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership because of the service department.

Im traveling through Texas and was leaving town today when my key fob died. Replacing the battery did no good. Called Mike Smith Parts and Service department. They had what I needed. I was in and out in 90 minutes or less. Very helpful, very professional, comfortable waiting area.Highly recommend!
