The visit at the office was very pleasant and the staff was very helpful. The customer service rep from the Emerald Card was a complete disaster. Stick to the face to face interaction with the Tax peppers if you can.

The person who filed my taxes also prepared 2 envelopes for me to so I could mail off my money orders to the IRS and made everything so convenient for me

Cant even give a full review, walked in to a guy standing behind the front desk, I asked if they had anything available today if not i can I’d like to schedule an appointment, told me they were to busy at the moment then another lady said if y’all have appointments can i just schedule one? So he started to help her then told me he didn’t even have any time to look to see when he had an appointment available, talk about customer service.. money out his pocket. Smh

Ms Kelly and Ms Henrietta were truly a blessing. I used online H and R Block software and chose to have my taxes deposited with an emerald card. Emerald card was never received through mail and these two wonderful women got me a replacement on the spot. Thank yall so much!

I like the lady who did my taxes, but I think $128.00 for filing my taxes with NO deductions is extreme. I have been a customer for many years, but i dont think I will return. You are going to loose business for charging so much for a simple non business return.

My consultant was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I was doing business with H&R Block for over 30 years and the result was very good.

Was told charge for Personal with only w2 as source of income would be 59, even read signs in the lobby that said no surprises pay what you expect etc, the was charged 118 and was told it goes off percentage and that she gets a percentage, I did not pay near that last year and my refund was barely 100$ different than last year. For only W2s nothing else special, I will definitely be going on line next year. Wish I just would have known up front, although still expensive I would have at least been agreeing from the beginning not surprised at the end.

Jay monetta is great. We use him every year. He is the reason we return even though we live closer to other H&R Block’s. He even came in on his day off to help us.

While I was in the office I brought my very loud toddler who was ready for a nap, everyone was very kind to her and didnt even bat an eyelash - the woman we worked with was very professional and understanding. I also tend to ask a lot of questions and she did her best to explain to me.

He didn’t really talk much but my experience with H&R has always been great, so I won’t let this last service change my opinion. Great company

I went In To get tax help , the older man his name may be joe? Not sure , that helped me started off okay but once I had questions about the stipulations On dependents he questioned my ingetrity I am not a tax expert so of course I had questions he said that it made him feel “uncomfortable “ and he refused to continue. I’m from California and this has got to be the most awful experience I’ve had here in Beaufort conveniently after he asked me did I want to donate to the presidential candidate, I said definitely not and everything went Down hill from there . Advice : don’t be un sure or have honest questions and be African American , your taxes WONT BE FILED . Just horrible .

Tax “professional” was not knowledgeable and I had to help her fill in the blanks a few times. Then was condescending and rude towards my wife and I. Then she started rushing us because she had another appointment after we had to wait for 30 mins past our appointment time for ours to even start. All she did was type in the information off our tax documents and did not know anything about a k-1 form that I have to do and just said she’d remove it and we can mail it in if we want to. Then charges us $307 for all that hassle. Not coming back ever.

I like to fill with h&r block well I like filling will the Hilton head group but the h&r block on Boundary Street I dnt not like that she did not break down my taxes and then its like I paged more this time then any other time I have been filling with yall for 9 years and never felt like I do when she filled my taxes Im thing of going somewear else next year sorry i felt yall was the best way of saving and finding away to get more money under state law sorry but I dnt think Im ok with this she did not make me feel comfortable with her filling my taxes

I like that we are done with annual taxes after a 1 hour appointment. That you print our slips and provide envelopes to pay our taxes and that you get all our paperwork stapled together. Also, that you know what needs to be filled out on the form templates and what we can skip over.
