The tech was great! A 10. But, when I got the extended warranty I was not told it would not take effect for a month. Also, if I were to purchase the part on line, original part, it is $220.00 through you doing it it is over $600.00I do not understand! But since I got the warranty I will have you replace it.One more thing, after this month is up what is the cost?

Gasket on freezer door was replaced, but that did not solve my problem. I have been trying to get it fixed since July 2020 and nothing the technicians do solves the problem of ice buildup on the freezer door and roof of freezer. The technician who came out Jan. 28, 2021 knew what he was doing and fixed the problem. He listened when I told him the problem started when the fan was replaced in June 2020. He checked and the wrong fan had been installed. He replaced it with the right fan and I have not had a problem since. All the technicians before said the fan couldnt be the problem. Thank you sir for listening .

The repairman took out the ice maker with 2 screws. He took off the back wall with 4 screws. He ran hot water on the back plate he removed that has an air tube that was frozen. He put it all back together and 20 minutes later charged me $385 for labor, no parts. He said next time unplug it for 24 hours and it will thaw itself he wasnt sure exactly why this happened. He did say that it was poorly designed and made in Korea and all refrigerators made in the last 5+ years are junk. The more bells and whistles the more chances it will break. Ill be shopping on Craigslist for an older unit next time this piece of junk breaks. Ill also be looking for an owner/operator repairman they couldnt stay in business charging just under $1,000 an hour as the service call was $90.00. Im done with Sears wonder why you are bankrupt, perfect example.

Very friendly and helpful service technician. He called the day before to reminds me that he was coming, then Tyne next day he called to give an estimated time of arrival. Then when he left the customer prior to me he called once again to verify wed be home. He also wanted to make sure all parts had arrived did we wouldnt be inconvenienced waiting on more parts.

Repairman was on time and very professional. Came prepared with all of the parts needed to fix our refrigerator and had the job done right the first time. Everything was covered under the extended warranty we purchased on the refrigerator without question.

I see exactly why in our lifetime Sears will be a memory. Sears has turned their back on customers and their employees. The employees in the field try hard and are overall excellent but the customer service internally just is not there. I was forced to speak with employees who knew very little English and only could read responses from a screen. They understood my frustration was a line I heard each and every call. When my complaints were escalated to the CEO escalation team I received a call from someone on the other side of the earth who did not even know what day it was in the time zone the problem was located and their English was as bad as my Japanese. I dont speak Japanese but can say sushi.After 12 days of cold showers I went to Lowes and replaced a hot water heater that cost $1500.00 that was still under a service contract.The Sears i grew up on and was told by my dad I could always trust is gone. There is no reason to be loyal to Sears anymore. I will find the cheapest price on the product required and buy it from that retailer wherever it may be located. How the leaders of a once great company could allow it to slide into disgrace is criminal as they continue to empty the coffers for their personal gain and turn their backs on the Americans who supported Sears. I will never buy from Sears again and they have also broken me from purchasing any extended warranties from anyone again.And the experience inside the store that once was great is just as horrible.

The repair was completed by an actual Sears employee who had a vast knowledge of mechanical repairs. He completed the repairs in one visit and the ice maker works like new.

I had to wait a week for an appointment, tech came out - part had to be ordered. Had to wait another week in a half for the new part to be installed - it was the wrong part. So it was reordered, another week in a half goes by for the new part. Its installed and working. The next day the machine is down again - leaking. Call again for service - had to wait a week in a half again for someone to come and look at the machine. I call Big Country Appliance a week before they came out to tell them what part was leaking per my instructions from your call center. Tech came out and had to order a part, he was not told what the problem was. I had to wait another week in a half for my new part, I asked it the part could be rushed out since Id had been without my washing machine for almost two months. Of course that did not happed. Its working now. I was very disappointed that it take so long to get someone out to even look at the problem, than having to wait over a week for parts.

Poor service and poor communication when trying to correct the problems Sears left for me. Had to wait 2 more weeks for service after repairman unplugged my fridge to thaw. He did not return in 2 days as he stated. Because he did not put in the return work order Sears said I have to wait 2 weeks for the next available date. Can get no one there to understand that this is unacceptable since Sears dropped the ball not me. I am still without a fridge hopefully this Wednesday after 2 weeks they can fix it without disappearing for another 2 weeks.

Eventhough the repair took a couple of weeks because of parts needing to be shipped in. The repair was done in a.professional well done manner. The tech. knew what and how to manage the repair and I was please with the repair.

Technician came by for the second time for the same problem for my zero turn craftman lawn mower. Every time they come out it takes 10Days for them to service our lawnmower and its still having same problem. They said parts were ordered but its been weeks!!!!! Once parts come in I have to call technician again and it will be another 10Days for them to come out!!!! Meanwhile I have to pay for lawn to get cut!!! Very bad service

6 weeks and counting after requesting Sears to fix my refrigerator under warranty and its still not fixed.4 attempts made at getting a technician to show up:a) 2 weeks lead time on first attempt and no one showed up; no one called me to explain why,b)technician shows up after week 3, had to order part and ship to me,c) another 2 weeks before I get technician to return. Tech fixes unit and it broke down within hours of being fixed.Imagine having kids and NO REFRIGERATOR to use. In spite of spending nearly $3,000 for this unit.d) Finally in week 6, I chance on Sears employee who is willing to help after 10 reps insisted my next appointment will be at least one week out.I AM done with purchasing ANY Sears appliance. Never again for me.

If I could give no stars I would. Bought a jack online for the baytown store. I was email saying my order was ready after waiting 45 minutes I got with manager they said my order wasnt here it took them over hour to get the floor jack I bought. I dont was so hard when they had a pallet in the middle of the aisle. Stupid people not shopping here again.

Washer components were tested, lid switch was installed, but washer was not repaired. I am waiting for the repairmen to return on March 3 to repair washer. Washer does not complete the complete wash cycle. Clothes are soaking wet at end of cycle and washer has burning electrical smell when the washer lid is opened.
