I cant say enough good things about Joes. My car had a parasitic drain that would cause me to jump start it every morning. A few mechanics recommended Joes to me, as well as a few auto shops.Going on these recommendations, I called them, and they told me when it was best to come in, as they appear to get a lot of business. Within a few hours, they found the problem and fixed it immediately. Now the car is back to normal. The price was more than reasonable. Anywhere else, I would have wound up paying more. Theyre honest, reasonable, and wont waste your time. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The service is excellent!! They dont take advantage of you like the dealership does. When I service my car at the dealership, its always close to $500. But at Joes never!! They tell you the truth, and fix what is really needed!! I highly recommend this place. Give them a try, you will not regret it 👏👏😃

Where do I start? I must say that I truly trusted Joes Auto Electric before I even got my car fixed there. I watched Joes YouTube videos and I seen how knowledgeable, skillful and passionate he is about his work. I have an 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham and I must say it has been sitting 7 years and has numerous problems, especially misfiring. First? I had a parasitic draw that drained my battery every time its parked. I took it to Joes and while explaining it to him, he walked straight towards the problem and unhooked a wire that he knew was causing it. He told me to go home and if it doesnt turn on the next day then come back so he could properly fix it, but he knew it would turn on. I gave him a call the next day and told him it turned on so he told me to drop it off so we could see what else needs to be done. He took care of the distributor cap and rotor, plugs and wires, and took care of an oil leak, which I didnt know I had. He also, soldered wires and replaced my alternator, which had a shortage due to some wires that didnt belong connected. All this for a great price. I tell you one thing, Joes not here to jip you and he keeps it real. I am bringing my car to him for everything because I know by the time I get everything fixed on there, he will have it to perfection.

Joe is one of the most professional and invested technicians he uses all the latest technology to find the issue at minimum cost. I find it comforting that he always does his own diagnosis and not just blindly hangs parts. If all were as skilled and honest then the motor trade would be universally trusted.

Joe took my truck in and found an electrical problem that was caused by work that was done a few years ago at the dealer.... because the mechanic at the dealer did not route the wiring harness correctly the harness was sitting on top of a stud on the engine and from heat and vibration caused the wire insulation to rub through and caused a short... Joe went above and beyond to find the issue with my truck and got me back on the road quickly.... hes a wizard when it comes to wiring and diagnostics... I wont trust anyone else working on my truck

I would not recommend this place unless you like being treated with 0 respect.Terrible service and the owner Joe is completely disrespectful.He looked at my car, never advised me on a diagnostic fee then on the phone told me I had to pay $100 bucks.I would never in my life bring my car into this shop and I would not recommend this place to anyone.He has a very bad attitude

Having studied electromechanical engineering and having run an auto electric shop in NJ in an earlier life. I can tell you Joe is the real deal. His deduction and analysis skills are par none. I say this based on having stumbled onto his videos on YouTube, where Joe explains his method of thinking as well as troubleshooting. Im no longer in the area but have told all of my NY and NJ family and friends about Joe. As sooner or later we all need a good electro technician. Keep up the good work and videos Joe! Almost forgot his diagnostic tools are also up to par based on what I have seen.

These guys should get six stars. Theyre honest, expert mechanics, and they charge a fair price. So glad I found them, I dont take my car anywhere else!Its a little tricky to find the garage, but 100% worth it. Its about a 10 minute walk to the 8th street light rail, so you can drop your car off and transit into work for the day, pretty convenient!

I had a problem with my f350 , I looked at all the auto electricians from Jersey City and decided to choose Joes .It was my sons 10 th because birthday and I need the truck fixed to take him to his party .I had no appointment and drove 30 min to get there as I just wanted someone not to rip me off .They stopped what they were doing to help me and found the issue and fixed it .They not only serviced me but charged me a fair price .Do yourself a favor and drive the distance and know you have good guys helping you and can trust them .I even tipped them more they charged as it great service and pricing .RegardsBrandon

Joes is my go to for anything electrical and more. I have a 84 Bronco and when I got it it was sitting for 7 years. The distributor was shot and had zero replacement parts. The carb required distributor to run right (it was something ford ran for 3 yrs and stopped).The Bronco was the 3rd vehicle I brought there over the years. Joey Spino sent me to him yrs ago (1998) and this became my one stop for the electrical I just couldnt fix myself.He tells me how his Mustang is built that he races (same motor 351W) and pulls out a summit racing catalog and shows me what is needed to get it running right. Eldebrock intake, Mallory distributor, and a Holley 600.Prior to this vehicle he was my answer for my 95 Ford Taurus SHO. That car was an electrical mess after running high speed through heavy rains and floods (yep my fault lol). And no issues after that work was done.End result on the Bronco, everything installed and he had to rewire the harness (feild mice had a field day in the wiring while it was sitting for 7 yrs) and run a whole new set of fuel lines. He also warned me about a back pressure problem that was minor now but going to be a big deal down the line. That was 2007. My truck is now 34 yrs old and still my daily driver. The work Joe did is still running with zero issues!The back pressure he warned me about that I ignored? Took 5yrs but the motor blew out and took the carb with it. I get a new drop in motor and Joes work is just dropped into the new motor. Only changed the carb because of the blow out. The Bronco is back to my daily driver again.Im going back to Joe to clean up my wiring and my fuse panel. I want to add a bunch of off road lights and hard wire my xm unit in. I did some work and need him to fix what I did wrong. LolNow when they say fix it once, fix it right, its spot on! Well worth the price to get it right the first time. My 34 year old Bronco is still going and his work never had to be changed and is still going strong.If you want it fixed the first time, this is the place.

This place is a RIP-OFF, the Owner Joe charged me $190.000 just to check the vehicle, and try to charge me $1,020.00 to replace a Body Control Module / BCM, I ended up buying the part for $133.00, and installing it myself, it was a plug and play part, this guys will rip you off!!!
