We always take our car to Harringtons. They do good quality work and their fees are reasonable. I would refer other people to them.

This place is honestly great. My whole family uses them for repairs.I dropped my car off before I went on vacation last week & it was ready as soon as I got home.Mind you, I got hit pretty bad in the back. Not only was my car in great condition, but they went the extra mile to clean it so it was like I had a brand new car. I am so happy I chose them to fix my car! Excellent service. No BS. It is a comfortable setting. The place is always busy and alive with work. The owner Harrington and staff are easy to talk to. I have gone mostly for oil changes and brake replacement and it is quick and easy.

A few years ago I had these guys paint a motorcycle fender already stripped of paint. The paint work they applied was extremely poor quality, and now several years later I can neither look at my motorcycle nor pass their place without thinking of thier poor quality work. The paintwork was irregularly applied with an overall orange peel texture and runs leading from all of the rivets.Super nice guys, but unless youre looking for the Earl Scheib of Bayonne keep looking for people who actually take pride in thier work.

Chuck could’ve screwed me on my car a few times. But he was actually honest. It’s very hard to find an honest mechanic. He told me work that was recommended by my dealer wasn’t necessary. He told me the actual issue. I’m so glad I took my car to them.

Went there for the first time today and was pleased. I had a problem that I know the dealership wouldve fleeced me for and Chuck solved it easy peasy and for a reasonable price. He was also a pleasure to talk to. I will be going here again and again.

My car was broken into; I had a completely broken window and a smashed one, plus damage to the door frame. This was the week of Thanksgiving and I was so upset. Harrington’s fixed up my car very quickly. By the next week, my car was back to normal. Great service! Fantastic work! Danny is such a nice guy too! One of the best encounters I’ve had at a mechanics. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

I had a scratch on all 3 panels of the driver side on my 2015 Tahoe. My car has a specialty paint, that Chevrolet no longer manufactures. Not only did the paint match PERFECTLY, it was completed PERFECTLY in just over 48 hours! Great job to Dan and his crew!

Went there for my 2003 Ford Mustang and they were one of the most honest people I’ve ever met . Despite my car not being able to be fixed (due to the expenses & the amount of damage) I’m very satisfied with their work . I can honestly feel in my heart that they wouldve done an amazing job on my car and made it drive like never before. I’m a young girl and they truly did try to help . This long-time family-run auto shop is a tremendous gem in Bayonne. Danny (auto-body) and Chuck (mechanic) are extremely friendly. On top of that, they are very honest with their customers, do quality work, and are very fair and reasonable with what they charge. Today, I had a fender bender fully repaired for half the cost of what another shop in town was going to charge. And the reason I had to get an estimate from the other shop was to show the person who crashed into my car that Harringtons has the better price/service.I get everything done at Harringtons- synthetic oil changes, brakes, sensors, gasket peeling off my door, removing a nail from my tire, and etc. I always feel great driving off and highly recommend this place.

Great mechanics

I dropped off my car for a simple repair - it was leaking a small amount of anti-freeze. When I returned the glove compartment had been ripped off as if someone was trying to get into it and the backing on the seat was loose. The owner of harringtons claims he doesnt know how it happened. I will never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone

I moved to the area about 5 years ago, but since I buy low mileage used cars I havent had a need to use an auto repair shop.But the check engine light came on in my 2008 Infinity and I needed to find a new place... so my wife got a referral to this place from her hair stylist.I am happy to report that they were friendly, quick and performed an accurate diagnostic of my cars issue within a couple hours. I was able to pick up my car the same day and I am happy with the service I received and the very fair price I paid.

I had to get my back door and rear bumper of my SUV fixed. After checking several places and getting estimates for the repair, Harringtons was the most reasonable and also friendliest. Scheduling the repair was easy and the fix was fast and looked amazing. Definitely will go back in a heartbeat if I have to.

They open early so you can drop your car off in the morning and pick it up later. Price varies for whats being done; my car got hit when it was parked and has a dent a few scratches. They wanted to charge me $600 to fix and paint (not replace), but I went to another shop and got the dent pulled out for free

Unfortunately, I got in a fender bender, Fortunately, I brought my car to Harringtons. I can not say enough good stuff about this place. The City of Bayone said it all in a resolution passed 22 years ago. As true today as it was back then. Thank you Dan Harrington.

Less than two weeks since I bought my car, someone scraped the side of it while it was parked. The scratch was mostly to the coating and only one spot that hit deeper. Danny called me to let me know the car was ready and that there would be no charge. Huh? What? Free? I was speechless. He said it only took a few minutes. The car looks new again and he now has a customer for life. That, is old-school service!

These guys just did a magnificent job in doing body work on my car . Repainted the foot long scratch on my door and replaced the broken Mirror. They did such a wonderful job it looks like just rolled off the Showroom Floor at the Dealership.. True professionalism and they got it fixed on the day they said they would. Where can I being to boost about this place? Lets start with the way they treat their customers from the moment they walk into their business, My mother had a car accident(she is ok thank god) and we didnt know where to take the car for repairs. I had already taken my car in past so I knew they were amazing. We had the car towed and from the minute my mom got there Danny was nothing but kind and attentive. Making sure my mother was ok, he told her what she need to do as far as calling the insurance. He assured my mother that the car would be ready in a week and half and to the day he kept his word. This place is all about their customers and making sure they are taken care of, their work speaks volumes.. Having a great mechanic/ body shop is like having a great doctor, hairstylist ect.. if you find it you make sure you treasure it. We have found this in Harringtons. These guys gave me the best customer service of any business Ive used in years. I was passing through on the highway (Route 440) and got a flat tire. Then I had a problem with my spare. After hiking down to their shop they got me fixed up and back on the road in no time. I was a stranger and they treated me like a regular. A+

Outstanding. I had been in an accident in Jersey City. I am not from this area. The car needed to be towed because it was not driveable. I was asked where I would like it to be towed. I called somebody I knew and they suggested Harringtons in Bayonne. That was where the next stop was. Danny came out and took charge. Shook my hand, said hed handle it and the manner in which he said this I felt entirely fine. I was a little taken back by how quick everything happened and have learned that those with experience know just how to do what they do VERY well. I was assured the car would be safe and I had nothing to worry about. Sure enough just as promised, the car was fixed and returned like nothing had even happened. Danny made me welcome to the area.
